This definitely looks like the best lineup of talent in some time. Weren’t those “minors” good? The kids can really sing!
Was so glad to see that chunky dark haired girl from Jersey I think go. She was obnoxious.
Once again judge Steven shined for me. What a pleasant surprise. I am so enjoying this panel.I havent watched last night’s episode yet, i forgot it was on last night but my dvr recorded it. i’ll watch it this afternoon. was that the girl that announced that she was tired of seeing people think they can do what she knows she can do or something like that? No wonder no one wanted her in their group.
just as quickly forgotten. She didn’t have a bad voice, but she was definitely NOT what she thought she was. Lots of great groups last night, but lots of disasters as well. Let me know what you think after you watch, Nora. I’ll be interested to here what you think about J.T., the sweet, little baby-faced 15-year old, who has a great voice going for him, but not much else. I just love that kid’s voice. Lots and lots and lots of tears last night, but the ones who made it through deserved to go on. Some great talent this year, that’s for sure. Casey, you were so right-on about The Minors. Every singly one of those kids will go far. They are confident and very polished for 15-16 year olds. Loved them to death.
I’m watching it right now patti, about half done. The girl group that sang with STeven on stage just got finished, I thought they did a good job, but only one got thru. I’m so glad that the jersey girl is gone! I couldnt stand her! she was awful and way out of tune. and yeah you’re right, man the ones that have a bad day are REALLY having a bad day. OUCH!!!!!!! lol. whew. hurt the ears! man what is up with all these people out of tune! It’s horrible! i’m excited to hear that country boy, with the really low voice. also the guy with turretts. I’m so happy with the judges and how they keep encouraging them, even Randy just made a great speach. I like these 4 girls now. the one who really cried, has really wild short hair. she almost quit, her names ashley. ok, i’ll let you know about JC!
Steve cracks me up! LOL. he’s hilarious! I love his reacion to the pretty girls. lol. Ok, Jacee’s group is preforming now. it’s cute. but he didnt do his best unfortunately. I still liked the red head best in that group i also like the long haired girl in that group. YAY! all made it! I’m happy for them! Awesome! I liked that group! ok, not groovin on this group. the country guy with the low voice. How does he fit in and Jacee didnt? Dont get that one at all. now the guy with the glasses is good, but the rest kind of stink. Ok, i’m alittle surprised they got through actually. ok one more group, 3’s company, the broken up couple and the girlfriend who got thru and the boyfriend who didnt get passed hollywood. ouch they arent doing to well. blonde girl was bad. and Rob doesnt know the words! i dont think they are going thru! i cant believe they put the blonde through.
I agree I think this year is going to be very good and the younger kids are doing really great, can’t wait until tonight to see how they do. and I love the voice of JT if that is his name (the 15 year od kid) I want to see how he does tonight, I did not like his partlast ight but so happy they put him through.
was okay, but I really was surprised they cut the tall, very pretty girl with the ponytail. She sang much much better than any of them with her solo. Of course, JMO. I thought that country boy with the deep voice truly was sorry that his group cut J.T., but then humbly cried about it and said he was sorry he didn’t take up for him. Nice gesture on his part. Ashley is okay, but my God that girl’s a nervous wreck before and after her performances. I don’t know how she makes it through a song. I really don’t think she will have the stamina to go far; she’s just doesn’t seem to have any confidence in herself, and on this show they really have to hold it together. The group that did cut J.T. were good, especially the guy with the glasses, who I thought would be the best, UNTIL the black guy at the end changed it up and demonstrated a talent above and beyond. I’m predicting he’ll go far in this competition. He’s composed, smooth, and his voice has a range that’s unbelievable. He went from the highest high to the lowest low with seemingly no effort whatsoever. Great show.
Did the country boy with the low voice make it through tonight? I dont recall seeing him in the rooms when they said if they passed or not.
He was in room 4 and did go through. I was happty to see that JC that 15 year old that was cut from his group went through and the guy with the white glasses that kicked him out didn’t make it.
I’m loving that the judges are really supportive of them this year. If they mess up and ask to start again they let them and are a little more forgiving if they forget or mess up the lyrics. Actually how can they say it’s not professional to forget lyrics when Christina Agularia messed up the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
about those forgetting lyrics. I think that wild guy with the blonde hair is more performance than substance. He seemed to shout his material and I predict his weaknesses will soon show. Jaycee has a very nice voice, but IMO it’s not up to some of the others in his age range.
I’ve been calling that kid "J.T." when his name is "Jaycee." Duh, Patti. Thanks for the head’s up, Casey.
I bet Jacee will go far becuase he’s so likable. you know people will vote for him. are you talking about that one guy, it’s sort of long blonde hair, kind of crazy? He is good but again, might not be as good as some of the others. my prediction is still that a girl will win this year! I really like this one, dont know her name, it’ll take me a while to learn the names! She’s got long clurly dark hair. semi-dark complexion, maybe some oriental in her? not sure. she’s got a strong voice. they really liked her original audition.
