Participantgive the job jack to E.J. It’s about time he crawled out from under his father’s foot.

ParticipantHe just orders the hit and one of his monkeys takes care of it; like he ordered the hit on Dr. Richard Baker; he ordered the assassination of Mayor Marino; and many others far too numerous to mention "disappearing acts", as you so rightfully describe them. Trouble is, you don’t have to pull the trigger to be guilty of the crime.

ParticipantI felt so sad for Ashton. I don’t think she deserved to go. Again, I’m thinking poor song selection, but I really liked her a lot, too. I’m not crazy about Lauren, though, and thought it might be her that was voted off. I will say one thing; that was the fastest bottom three selection I think I’ve ever seen.

ParticipantI thought Bono posted that she got the e-mail, but she was responding to your post. Duh, Sorry.

ParticipantEOM.

Participantand his playing around with it resulted in him shooting himself in the head, putting us all out of our misery a lot sooner.

Participantand as sickening as it sounds, it’s even worse to visualize. But, with nothing coming in but "male" new cast members, with the exception of Abby, what’s so surprising about it? These people will try anything to keep Melanie in a story line. Why will always be a mystery to me. Although I’m thinking she’ll be put more into Brady’s age group, since they’ve already paired her up with Philip and Nathan, than she would be with someone like Dario. He seems to be in the Will/Gabi age group. So, as repulsive as it might seem, I wouldn’t put it past them to test her chemistry with Brady, since he has always been there for Melanie. Why they are trying to make Melanie older than the Chad/Abby/Gabi/Will group is beyond me. I’ve said many times I would have liked to see her in a story with Chad, since they were a real-life couple at one time.

Participantthat comes straight from the horse’s (Corday’s) mouth. As for Nicole, she will get no sympathy from me.

ParticipantI think I still hate E.J., regardless of how ridiculous he appears to be right now, but I think Nicole and her family have taken advantage of the DiMera name. E.J. is not even in love with Nicole, and he admitted that to both Stefano and to Lexi. Nicole is blind-sided by her new station in life, if that’s what she wants to call it, but she certainly has no right to invite Faye or Taylor to live on the property without asking Stefano, not E.J. This is going to be fun when Kate finds out. She has so much love for the Walkers anyway, seeing as how she set up the blackmail situation between Brandon and Sami. Nicole is taking on much more than she can chew by making decisions that she has no right to make. She’s pushing her pseudo-husband right into her sister’s arms, whether she realizes it or not. She already knows they have appeared somewhat suspicious in how well they know each other, and all she’s doing is making excuses for their awkwardness. She’s choosing to not see what she already suspects, and it serves her right. This is one screwed up household. Soon there will be more in-laws living there than out-laws (pun intended).

ParticipantHe could be recording today, and I think he’ll become a huge country star from this show. Pia has the voice, but she has no stage presence. I think she’ll make it to the final 4, but by the time she does, others who are great singers but with more stage presence will overcome her. JMO. Love Casey, but I cannot stand Joe Cocker, so I was not impressed with his song selection last night, but loved his performance of it. I don’t like Paul at all. His movement on stage makes me laugh. He’s usually out of step when he tries to move to his songs, and looks comical to me. Ashton is only going to get better and better if the votes keep her on. Goodness, she looks like Diana Ross so much on stage, and she has the voice to go with it. I just hope last night’s performance keeps her in, cause I felt she did hit some bad notes when she tries to go too high with her voice. Stefano did a terrific job with a not-so-familiar Stevie Wonder song. He’s got it all if he keeps choosing the right songs, and I think he will. Who goes home tonight —- I hope I’m wrong but it might be Thia. Randy was right; she should have stayed with the ballad version of "Smile" and not have jazzed it up. She’s another gal with a terrific voice, but not so much stage presence. Loved J-Lo’s comments about seeing Scotty move around a bit last night. I’m not a huge country fan, but he’s certainly making me one. Top of my list last night — James Durbin, hands down for me. He put just the right amount of acceleration in his voice last night, and I agree with Randy; going from Judas Priest to Paul McCartney and pulling them both off so well was amazing. Love that kid.

ParticipantLauren sang Shania Twain, but I think she would have done much better with Shania’s "I Feel Like A Woman."

ParticipantIf this is his road to redemption, it’s certainly lost on me.

Participantsometimes I think they just sit around the writers’ table and say: "let’s see, what can we piss them off with today?" Instead of hiring all these new characters and leaving the vets swinging in the wind, maybe Corday should start looking for new writers. Most of these stories right now are unbearable to watch, and if he’s not careful the network is going to start realizing it. Once again TPTB are ruining this show. There is not one praise-worthy story line holding my attention right now — NOT ONE! I watch simply out of HABIT!

Participantand by ‘entire group’, I mean all of them from Daniel to Carly to Melanie and Philip, to Nathan and Stephanie, to Chloe and Philip, ALL got their paybacks at the same time. Funny how that Karma thing works. Wish it worked that way for the DiMeras.

Participantand has a far sexier accent than you know who. His first story will be with Chloe. This guy is younger, I believe. Here is the article from SON:
(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — NBC’s "Days of our Lives" issues casting calls for 1.5 African American characters, one contract and the other potentially recurring. But why 1.5?
On February 16, Soap Opera Digest announced that a casting call had gone out for the contract role of Ryan, a "17 to 18-year-old Caucasian or African American male," which is where the 0.5 comes from. According to the breakdown released, "Ryan is the all-American high school idol. Gorgeous, well-built quarterback of the football team. Popular, confident and charismatic…the world is at his feet for the taking." The character is scheduled to debut in May.
In addition to Ryan, Soap Opera Network has learned that the show recently released a casting call for the potentially recurring role of Scott. The character is described as a "35 to 44-year-old gorgeous African American male. Scott is a recent divorcee that is trying to get past the pain of his failed marriage and get back into the dating game. He was a superstar athlete in high school. Scott has an effortless charm and a great sense of humor that makes him irresistible to women." The role is currently set as a two show principal with the understanding it could lead to recurring status. No airdate has been set.
