Results time. Karen is in the bottom, Lauren is safe. darn it, Ashton and Hayley are in the bottom too! I thought Ashton was the best girl last night they could get the save vote though. i think i’ll change channels, i dont think i want to listen to D Ditry dipstick or whatever the hell his name is. LOL
Adam Lambert sang an original song, i actually liked it. I loved the group number at the beginning of the show.
DAMN! I thought ashton was the best last night. i guess she wasnt popular enough, maybe her attitude did her in. i was totally off on that one.
I felt so sad for Ashton. I don’t think she deserved to go. Again, I’m thinking poor song selection, but I really liked her a lot, too. I’m not crazy about Lauren, though, and thought it might be her that was voted off. I will say one thing; that was the fastest bottom three selection I think I’ve ever seen.
Yeah , i’m glad Ryan didnt drag it out. she definetly didnt deserve to go, there were others far worse than her. I agree about Lauren, she just gets on my nerves. i think it may have been her diva attitude too that turned people off, it turned me off, but she changed my mind with her singing. i’ve heard her song before.

were IMO worse than Ashton, but Ashton struck me as a bit cocky and perhaps the voters saw this too. I did not think she performed that Diana Ross number strongly enough and/or it was not known by most viewers. Song choice, song choice people!
I did really enjoy Adam’s performance tonight and finally saw some animation in Pia during the group number.I agree Ashton’s attitude may have cost her some votes. It was like the judge’s comments were going to her head and she really believed she was Diana Ross or a Diva. I think Lauren can sing but she’s acting too Kelli Pickler and that’s getting on my nerves.
last night (Simon is on tonight) and he commented on how successful the show is and what a great job the judges are doing. He agreed the new panel has improved the show.
BTW, as much as I detest Piers, I have to admit, his show is very good. I never watched Larry King but I find Piers is doing a very interesting job. He asks some really good questions and is an excellent interviewer. I still don’t like him but I do watch it occasionally.
In a few weeks we’ll be saying, ‘Ashton who?’ Not that they aren’t all seriously talented this year, but it’s all about the top 5 or 6. Does anyone know if all 13 will tour or will it just be the top 10?
i dont know i wouldnt mind seeing them in concert, they sounded great as a group. i havent been this excited since CLay Aiken! I really liked him. we went to their concert. and for Daughtry. i wouldnt mind seeing them either.
singing that same Diana Ross song. She even asked the audience to "listen to the words." Well, unfortunately, she sounded worse than when she sang it on AI. Her pitch was off, and her voice cracked a couple of times when she attempted to hit the high notes. I don’t know why she keeps doing this to herself. PICK A NEW SONG! She did say that some things have already "opened up" for her already, but if she keeps trying to sing songs that her voice is not equipped to sing, she’s going to bury herself before she even gets started. Sorry, but she sounded really bad this morning.
