(DH’s daughter – whatever her name is) would have cuffed her and said she was under arrest. I mean she walks in there like she’s the commissioner and makes her demands, then physically attacks the prisoner in front of everyone. I so wanted her to be arrested and thrown in jail for her impudence. This is just another disgusting way of changing a character to the extreme and making me hate her even more than I already had. All I could picture in my mind was in the middle of her running off at the mouth, a giant fly swatter coming down on top of her. Yeah, that would’a worked for me.
if a talented actor such as James Scott hasn’t complained as much as we have about this actress. He must know it’s also a poor reflection on him as an actor to have to work with someone who comes across so bad. Maybe he had something to do with her departure. I would like to think that someone with James’ talent would realize that working with an actor who does not compliment him in any way reflects on his acting as well. He is so very popular that it would not surprise me one bit if he just told DH and/or KC that it was her or him, and that he could just not bear working with her (NL). Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he (JS) doesn’t have that kind of pull with TPTB. I know AS does.
Matt Asford’s signature is all over that part, and people would be constantly comparing him to anyone else, just like they do with Jay Kenneth Johnson. Nobody accepts Philip Kiriakis to be played by anyone other than JKJ. But, for some reason, I can easily accept Kate Mansi (sp?) as Abby Devereaux, because the teens do not have as much of a vested interest with the audience as their parents do.
she would not remain there in the mansion. She has a job now at Titan, and I’m sure she could get an apartment, so there’s no reason she has to live in the mansion. Nicole may be trying to use her mother’s illness as an excuse not to leave, but Faye doesn’t reside in the mansion, she’s in the guest house. Taylor wouldn’t be able to care for Faye while she was working at Titan, that would have to be Nicole’s job. So, all I’m saying is Faye’s illness is no excuse for Taylor to be living in the mansion. If she was truly worried about Nicole, she would be out of there and living in her own place, coming to care for Faye in the evenings, and stay completely away from E.J., regardless of Nicole’s pleas for her to stay. So, I guess what I’m saying is that they’re all a bunch of bullshit. They’re where they are because that’s where they want to be. Same with E.J. If he cared one iota about Nicole, he would tell Taylor to leave, and tell Nicole the truth as to why. This whole thing is disturbing, and I can’t wait for TB to come on screen and NL gone. It will be bad enough watching this horrid story line with a good actress, let alone having to suffer through it with a breathless poor excuse for one. Sorry if that sounds disrespectful, but this girl couldn’t act when she was on GH, and if anything, she’s gotten worse.
they are saving their vote until much later along in the competition. Also, I’m not as impressed as everyone seems to be with Thia, either. I mean, she has a very pretty voice, but it’s not a strong one, and unless she shows me she can truly belt out a song, she’s just another "safe" voice for me. I need to hear her really go all out instead of telling us that she can do it, which seemed to be her plea last night before she was told she was safe. Don’t talk about it, let’s hear it. Randy’s right, so far everything she’s done has been sort of a "safe sleeper."
but I did not realize he was the black sheep of the family. Well, that’s what happens when they cast a family with no back-story. I want to see more scenes with him and Rafe (or R-2) as he may start this whole mess to unravel much faster than if he were not here. Seems he and Rafe had a rough relationship, but I think he knows that no matter how hard Rafe has been on him growing up, that his big brother loves him a lot, and this just may open up Pandora’s Box for Stefano and E.J. where Dario might see, more than anyone else, that this is not his brother. I’m hoping for that, anyway.
I think he’s going to have some sort of déjà vu every time he looks at that key, and eventually bits and pieces of his memories will surface, but I agree, I would like to see that, too. I know I read GG’s tweet about R2 not being around after May sweeps, but I would like to see Rafe’s progression while it is happening to him. They just had better make this one fantastic conclusion after all this torture we’ve had to go through with this story line, which, IMHO, should include a little pay-back for the DiMeras as well. Yeah, sure, Patti … keep on wishin’ in one hand and, well, you know the rest.
because she was a whole heck of a lot harder on Chloe than she was on Carly. True, Carly didn’t have Bo’s baby, but she certainly took over Hope’s role in his life without thinking twice about it, and Jennifer is supposed to love Hope so much, so quite possibly it is because of Lucas that she was so hard on Chloe (which I do happen to think she was right about, but it was not her place to say it to Daniel).
she’s a grown woman with grown-up problems. She needs to start acting like it. I find her very immature. The way she blurts things out and sticks her opinion in where it isn’t warranted is what you would expect from the teen set, not Jennifer. I hope they calm her down some.
He may LOVE Nicole, but he’s not IN LOVE with Nicole. It’s about time he was finally up front about that. Too many were so sure he still loved her and they would ‘find’ their love grow. I don’t think that will happen at all now that he’s admitted how he really feels. She’s a convenience that fortunately fit into his scheme against Rafe, but it would be hilarious once Nicole finds out the truth if she puts the make on faux Rafe, and with that learns the truth from none other than faux Rafe himself? Boy, would she be holding all the cards then, or what?
I feel the same way abut Jennifer. Every time she’s on I find myself asking, ‘who do you think you are, anyway?’ I don’t think I ever loved Jen the way some do, but I could tolerate her a lot more before than I can now. Some may find her cute and feisty; I just find her annoying and rude, especially to Daniel.
how the votes will go. I am extremely disappointed that I have to listen to Paul another week, even if his health is perfect. I can’t believe Naima made it to the couch before either Haley or Karen, even though I was not the least bit surprised she was in the bottom 3. I still do like her, though. Finally, I’m very surprised they didn’t give Karen a break and save her. She sang her heart out tonight in order to save herself, and I thought she did a magnificent job with "Hero." Good luck to her. She may not have won, but she didn’t deserve to go home tonight, IMO.
I knew if Omtepe (sp?) won, that either Krista or Natalie would be going home. They were doomed because they glued themselves to Russell thinking he would take them to the end, so once he was gone, they wouldn’t be far behind. Unless Natalie changes her ways, she’ll probably be next. Still hope Matt can keep winning on Redemption Island. It would be so cool if Rob’s plan to take him out gave him the strength and stamina to endure it all the way the end by continuously knocking off all of his opponents sent to Redemption Island. I would love to see Matt beat Rob. Rob’s a huge sneak, and soon these other people will see through him, especially Grant, who found that paper in the coffee and not only let Rob take it away from him, but gave him a shield to escape with it. Grant, you’ll be sorry for that choice.
