they go by so quickly that it distracts me from what’s going to happen.  Very cryptic messages or clues, I’m sure.

I love his looks.  He has matured and with that come wrinkles.  As for the hairstyle, it’s a little too ‘Julius Caesar’ for me.

and that disappoints me on one hand because it is a continuation of Robo-John, which Stefano could control, (whatever happened to that memory disk anyway), and until I am able to believe Ken Corday when he claimed this kind of crap was over and done with, I’m afraid we’re going to see a repeat of Robo-John’s actions all through this storyline.  Too bad, because that means it’s going to drag on and on until a) somebody finds the memory disk; 2) John’s memories return like Rafe’s did; or 3) E.J. knew nothing about what Stefano did to John and busts his own father when he becomes Mayor, which I doubt, because he is using John’s dilemma to further his own cause.  I did not want to see John return this way, but, you can never trust Corday’s promises for too long.  So, for now, I’ll just enjoy the show as written and hope that sooner rather than later this too shall unravel.  It would be ever so nice, though, if at least ONCE before this show goes off the air that Stefano and E.J. were found guilty for what they did, with no way out.  That, or somebody just kill the bastards …. once and hopefully for all time.  GET BACK TO THE ROOTS, CORDAY, LIKE YOU PROMISED!  This is bullshit!!!!

where MB and CD were no longer dating.  I think Casey even said in an interview that they broke up, which means nothing in this business.  Shelly and Jay dated in real life as well, but I don’t see where they were ever together or that it mattered whether they were or were not.  They’re actors and paid to be so.  If doing love scenes with another actor bothers them, then they should not be in a relationship with one.

watching and listening to E.J. was particularly disappointing.  Why did Abe continue to allow E.J. to beat him down?  When E.J. brought up the complete lie that Abe stood by and did nothing while another victim was abducted right in front of him at the Salem, P.D. (yeah, right, like Nicole is a victim — pfftttt), why did Abe not retaliate with something like, "now you would know that, Mr. DiMera, because you were there, too — so why don’t you tell us what you did."  Instead Abe kept trying to insinuate him and Stefano as the masterminds behind every criminal act that ever happened in Salem, and, although it is not far from the complete truth, it made Abe look to be nothing more than every other politician who is campaigning, and that is a mudslinger.   I would absolutely love to see them prove John’s innocence and that he was set up by the DiMeras now, if only to stop junior in his tracks, before he wins and immediately fires Roman, Bo and Hope, which I’m sure he will do.  Oh, and by the way, I am so absolutely sure now that Stefano is behind John’s situation now.  I wasn’t at first, but I am totally sure he is now.  I just hope E.J. knew about it as well, so they can both be GONE!  I just hope they keep them on this show long enough so I can watch both of them be killed off.  That’s how much I hate them.

spewing barbs at not only Madison, but Sami, Brady, and even Victor …. and never getting the upper hand. It’s about time she was put in her place.  She may be a worthy opponent in business, but I will applaud whoever one-ups her, each and every time she tries to take control.  I loved seeing how Madison got exactly what she wanted yesterday, and that she has Kate’s number.  Hope they keep Madison on her toes, because we all know it will reach a point where Kate will realize that she can’t maintain control all by herself and decide it’s time to bring in some underhanded help of her own…..enter Stefano’s goons, or, better yet, the big man himself.

that it will drive a wedge between Abbey’s and Melanie’s friendship, even if at first Abbey doesn’t accept Jack back into her life.  I can’t see Abbey standing by and allowing Mel and/or Chad to "gang up" on Jack and Jennifer and bring him down for too long, since it’s obvious Abbey still loves her dad.  On the other hand, I can see where It still would be difficult for Melanie to maintain a close friendship with Abbey, knowing how much Daniel loves Jen, and then to sit by and watch him suffer once Jen goes back to Jack.  If that were to happen, Chad might take Mel’s side and offer her a shoulder to cry on, and Mel might do the same for Chad, since Jack hates him with Abigail anyway, leading to the two of them getting closer.

a light bulb went off in Hope’s mind after Bo suggested charitable contributions.  If Alice knew Maggie had a child, and that she was unaware of it, why wait this long to tell her about it?  Could the money have been something so simple as a means of building the Horton Town Square?  If so, and if those bank statements were being sent to her by her financial advisers, perhaps they were using Basic Black to invest them, with John overseeing their distribution?  If so, then maybe he was still in "Robo-John" mode from what Stefano did to him, as Ms. Jake mentioned, and that’s why he has no memory of it now.  I hope not, and admittedly I’m grabbing at straws here, but I truly do not believe that John, in his right mind, would have misappropriated those funds; but, obviously someone else did — say, for instance, the "puppet master himself?"  Why else would John be having these flashbacks now where he is in Paris at the time he was going over those statements?  I don’t know, but my brain is starting to bubble, so I’m switching my mind back to "wait and see" position.

but, I swear, every time I hear that phony horse whinny of a laugh come out of E.J. lately, I could reach down his throat and rip out his vocal cords.  If he wins over Abe, then surely the town of Salem is possessed, and they’re really all living in Hades!

He’s also playing the game the way it should be played, and personally I like him.  He may just be the one to convince his tribe to get rid of Ozzie.  For now I’m still watching, but find I’m losing not all, but some, interest as well.  I do know that I’m glad that whiny mortician got sent home last night.  That woman just had too many problems with her tribe.  When will people realize that you can catch more flies with sugar than you can with vinegar.  I’m not having problems so far with Coach.  At least he’s not pontificating like he did the last time.  That’s when he really got on my nerves.  That being said, now that Elise was sent to Redemption Island and is out from under Ozzie’s influence, I can almost see him coming apart and doing something stupid, like turning on his whole tribe because he lost his little honey.

Back in the mid-80’s Savanah ran a drug/porn ring, and guess who she partnered with?  None other than Victor Kiriakis.  Somehow, and I don’t know quite how yet, Savannah will be a likely source to come between Victor and Maggie, and that I don’t like at all.  But, I sure do like the way the suspense of this story line, as well as the secret bank statements Alice had, and all the other hidden secrets are keeping us on our toes trying to solve this one.  I’m loving every minute of these two connecting stories.

but figured she would have offered some excuse if it was.  If that’s her nrmal speaking voice, she should never, ever be an interviewer.

were going to be more original with this storyline and not do a wash, rinse and repeat one.

Some things just taste so much better when they’re slow-cooked all day.  I have several crock-pot recipe books, and I haven’t tried one yet that didn’t taste absolutely delicious.
