Kate is sure acting smug about John’s arrrest and if I remember correctly, she got dumped from Basic Black so she would have a reason to go after John.
Then we have Vivian’s son whose father is some big wig. I wonder if they are going to bring him on as the person behind the missing money? I can’t remember how Vivian felt about John either pro/or con but the show could certainly bring on a new baddie. Or he could be that third person that was involved years ago in the triad that was fighting for the pawn. I seem to think it was Stefano/Victor and someone else.
The flashback of John working on the computer could just be his trying to figure out what was going on with the money or he could have still been under someone’s control.
Any thoughts?
John’s arrest. He’s beside himself with happiness for how this is going to help his campaign. I can’t help but believe that the DiMera’s are somewhere in this whole setup.
maybe he was going in and out of the DiMera brainwashing/or control they had over him? I don’t know, but it is getting interesting and I really like that these are stories that we can relate to in real life.
be guilty of the actual theft and stories to go with them; HOWEVER, the one thing I cannot fathom is WHY were the bank statements sent to Alice Horton all these years with no one aware of them until the boxes in the attic were brought down and gone through. Who besides Alice even knew this account existed? That’s where the mystery comes in for me.
John and Marlena were aware of the dangers if they came back to Salem. That means they knew there was an investigation going on. For that, I can’t figure out why the FBI would be involved though because they cannot operate outside the USA.
Maybe they only just became involved when they re-entered the USA. Which makes we wonder where Austin was while he was working on it. Lots of questions here.
What if John realized someone was trying to set him up or embezzle and so he had Alice keep some money in a safe place to catch the crook? I don’t know how it would all play out, but maybe John will end up being the hero. There’s a lot that’s not being said, I can’t wait to see how this story’s going to play out! It’s so nice to have storylines that aren’t so predictable.
I’d read that Savannah Wilder (Shannon Tweed, Mrs. Gene Simmons), Maggie, Mickey, Victor and Dan are names rumored to be connected to the Alice letters.
I could see Maggie, Mickey and Victor since they lived in Salem and Alice knew them. Well, she also knew Savannah since she was involved with Roman as well as Dan but they weren’t as close to her as the rest. Hopefully this will be a mystery that will keep us all in suspense until it’s revealed and not something we have the answers to and have to suffer through while the rest of Salem comes to their senses.
Maybe it was because his connection to Victor, he’s his Godson, thats the only thing i can think of as a connection.
In some sense EJ seemed like he did not know at all. Or if he did know it was because he would have contacts and know about the investigation. I personally hope it is not the Dimeras only because it is always them and that is so predictable.
I’m not sure Alice’s bankaccount is tied in with Basic Black…..As soon as I saw John seaming to be editing the books I thought of Robo John, meaning he doesn’t even know what he’s being programed to do! Which naturaly leads to Stefano…..?
I could be confused but I thought EJ mentioned embezzlement in his campaign speech prior to John being arrested. Apparently he knew what was going down

Back in the mid-80’s Savanah ran a drug/porn ring, and guess who she partnered with? None other than Victor Kiriakis. Somehow, and I don’t know quite how yet, Savannah will be a likely source to come between Victor and Maggie, and that I don’t like at all. But, I sure do like the way the suspense of this story line, as well as the secret bank statements Alice had, and all the other hidden secrets are keeping us on our toes trying to solve this one. I’m loving every minute of these two connecting stories.
