I’m just as happy that Arsenio won.  Both were the most likable finalists for me that I have ever seen since this show started.  I had to laugh at Aubrey, though, who still seemed to be on her "Sami…me…me…me" train.  LOL!  I’ll tell you what though, I had never seen her perform before, and the girl can definitely sing.  Speaking of Sami, did anyone notice Alison Sweeney in the audience?  She was judging one of the tasks (can’t remember which one now), and they showed her in the audience twice.  As always, she looked terrific compared with how she looks most of the time on the DOOL set.

for not being truthful to her when he knows darn well that he was the one who stole her eggs and gave them to Daniel’s thought-to-be parents.  Of course, soap writers can’t leave well enough alone for too long; how boring would that be if everyone was happy all the time and sickening sweet to one another.  This is probably going to be short-lived.  Maggie and Victor are extremely popular with the fans, and I think they will have them reunited at some point.  At least she would have a good reason to leave him, if only temporarily.  How do you forgive a man for stealing your eggs and giving them to another, and then find out he knew they were yours, married you, and covered it up, not by lying about it, but simply not offering the truth.  I kind of like the idea that Maggie finds out the truth.  If the new writers were smart, they will tweak this story in a way that after she has time to digest the whole scenario, she will realize how much they truly love one another, and then Maggie will forgive Victor, admitting if only to herself that he did not even know her way back when.  Perhaps in the meantime, Victor will be so crushed that it will give him the chance to regain control of his chutzpah’ and have him return to a true Kiriakis, but, instead, with Maggie as his weakness to always think of the cost of his actions before he takes them.  Sort of like a "Beauty and the Beast" s/l — because it’s obvious this show needs a turn-around, and maybe it’s time to pass (or return) the black hat to another, especially when Stefano has turned into a boring cartoon character, with nothing but wash, rinse and repeat stories.

and she said she missed last month, but she thought it was from stress, so it will be Austin’s child.  Thank God, that will be the end of her and Rafe, hopefully.  Those two were about exciting as pocket lint.

I just wish Sami would stop giving everyone every reason under the sun to hate her more than most do already.  She simply does not know when, where or how to keep her mouth shut, or at least think before she reacts.  Thank God for Lucas.  That being said, I think she is finally starting to realize that she is on the verge of losing Will forever, just as Lucas said, and if she doesn’t stop running into and confiding in E.J., Lucas might be right behind him.

did not recognize them.  Clearly you could tell that it was Hope behind that disguise, and John’s and Bo’s eyes gave them away immediately.  They didn’t show as much of Rafe’s face under that hood, but I thought anyone who knew them as well as Stefano would immediately be able to recognize them.  So laughable.  I agree, I was embarrassed for all of them.

although I think Abbey does suspect Gabi’s going after Chad.  Gabi did confide in Will how much she plans to break up Mel and Chad, and even asked him to help her do it; but I don’t think any of them know she’s making up this stalker story.  I would love to see her REALLY get a story like that….i.e., the "girl who cried wolf" …. and then she reallly does gets stalked or maybe worse.  It would be a heck of a lot more interesting than watching her manipulate yet another stupid guy and his girlfriend into seeing what she wants them to see.  I think Abbey might be involved in some way figuring it all out and proving it, though.  Maybe that’s why Celeste sees danger in her cards for Abbey.  Maybe that’s where they will go with this story.  Otherwise, I hope it ends soon because it’s making me despise Gabi, and I used to like her a lot.  Camilla Banus deserves better.

it’s hard to crush on someone who portrayed Jesus in The Passion of the Christ the way that man did.  I have never seen anything like that in my life.

for Joshua, but some of the comments praising Joshua must have been extremely hurtful for the other contestants.  It was obvious he was their favorite.  I was pleased with the final result.  Two completely different styles.  I still think Jessica should take it, but I know better than to count Phillip out.  Seems he has a huge fan base, especially with the younger female voters.  When he performs, those girls go crazy, so it would not be hard to him imagine him winning it all.  But, I agree, at this point they all have won, because no doubt they will all be receiving recording contracts.

have both been canceled.  Not sure about Person of Interest.  I posted all announced cancelations on another thread, and neither one of these shows was picked up.

I don’t know how many times I tried putting their medicine in juice or milk, and they still could taste it and wouldn’t drink it.  Same with the elderly.  I take care of my elderly aunt, who is 88, and on her last visit to her doctor in April she had a slight bladder infection.  Although the medicine smelled like cherries, she would fight it every time she had to drink it, no matter what I put it in to disguise the taste.  So, no, this is completely unbelievable that Brady would not have realized that his drink had a different taste and put 2 and 2 together.  Oh, well, it’s like mommytutu said, we are over-thinking the illogical minds of the writers.

Melody Thomas Scott’s (Nikki Newman on Y&R) twitter account has a post from Melody herself stating that upon learning of Eileen Davidson’s firing from Y&R, she "heard" that Eileen was returning to Days of Our Lives.  I so hope that’s true.  When the actors themselves post to twitter, it’s usually a good sign that it’s true.  All I know is that I have my fingers crossed that it is.

his gospel-like rendition of a popular song just isn’t doing it for me.  Jessica had some poor song choices last night, on all three of her songs.  And, the judges were just phoning in their praises last night.  Randy Jackson especially gets on my nerves with his comments.  J-Lo’s are too long, but Steven Tyler’s are the most honest and "to the point."  For a change, I actually enjoyed Phillip last night.  I still think he’s the "dark horse" in this race, and it would not surprise me one bit if either Joshua or Jessica went home tonight.
