How do you think Sami will respond to Will’s admission yesterday of being gay? I haven’t read any spoilers on this so I have no idea how she’ll react. BUT, I have a feeling she’ll fly off the handle at first in typical Sami fashion but then will come around.
Knowing Sami she will tell Will he is wrong, and he is just trying to make her feel bad and guilty. Then she will start ranting that it is someone else’s fault, probably her mother. (not a spoiler, just my thoughts)/
and, yes, probably making it all about her. But, at some point, I think she’ll settle down and realize that Will needs her support now more than ever and, if she’s truly honest with herself, she’ll devote all of her time in proving that she truly loves Will, as she’s been claiming for a long while now, and that if she honestly wants to show him just how much she does love him, she will put her own needs aside and focus on her son’s. I’m not saying this is going to happen overnight, but I would bet that eventually this bull-crap with both of them will end. As for Sami thinking Will saying that he’s gay will somehow be her fault, and that it’s his way of hurting her or something along those lines, would be ridiculous, if that’s the way they choose to go with this, but knowing how these writers work, this is bound to be a disaster for Sami.
I bet she’ll maybe act all supportive first until he tells her that he confided in Marlena first, then I bet she won’t be so supportive.
EJ telling her that he suspected Will was having a problem with his sexuality is really making an impact with her. I think she finally realized (for how long though, I don’t know) that maybe, just maybe, she has not been giving him the attention he needed.
But, I will say this, how many times has she pleaded with Will to tell her what was wrong because she could see he was so unhappy. So I think some of the blame here has to be placed on Will’s shoulders too.
She wasn’t pleading with him to tell her what was wrong because she knew he was unhappy, she was pleading with him because she knew he was mad at her and didn’t know why. Again, it was all about Sami and how he was treating her. It wasn’t until Marlena told her that Will needed her to be there for him because he was going through something but couldn’t tell her more that Sami asked him to tell her what was bothering him and even then she made it about her and how he wasn’t telling HER anything.
I just wish Sami would stop giving everyone every reason under the sun to hate her more than most do already. She simply does not know when, where or how to keep her mouth shut, or at least think before she reacts. Thank God for Lucas. That being said, I think she is finally starting to realize that she is on the verge of losing Will forever, just as Lucas said, and if she doesn’t stop running into and confiding in E.J., Lucas might be right behind him.

I swear, if that girl’s brain was made of dynamite, she wouldn’t have enough to blow her nose!
