especially the "I love you, dad," when he clearly never accepted him or his heritage. Not just for Stefano, but for E.J. and Lexi as well. It wasn’t until he was told that Lexi had a terminal illness that he even tried to get close to her. He distanced himself from the DiMeras like they were the plague, and now he suddenly found love for this family. The whole scene today with Chad was way OTT, IMO. Now what’s he going to do…..go after Will believing one of his best and dearest friends murdered a man that he refused to accept in his life until…..what….2 weeks or so now, or at least not up until the special luncheon for Lexi? Please, don’t even try to convince me of this sudden rush to be a DiMera. What a bunch of horse manure!
has been telling cast members that he will be leaving the show, although nothing until now has been confirmed. I also read a tweet from PR’s wife, Kelly, thanking the show for using one of her songs (on 6/21/12) in a tribute to Lexi after she dies. I will miss Bo, but now all I will be wondering is whether it is his decision or not. What will this do to Bope, because Kristin Alfonso just re-signed and said she is here to stay. Hmmmm…..recast? Maybe, but it just won’t be the same for me if the do.
All of a sudden we’re seeing Roman with a shadow. That, more than anything, leaves me suspicious that she’s not all she seems to be. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how this unfolds, but why now do we see Roman with a shadow. Something is definitely out of the ordinary with this woman officer.
First, let me say that I cannot stand Rafe’s relationship with Carrie and can’t wait until her and Austin are gone for good. Neither Rafe nor Carrie have adorned any halos or sprouted any wings, proving to me that they are any better than Sami when it comes to Salem’s beloved infidels; however, I also find myself defending her. Will is Sami’s and Lucas’ son, and both her and Lucas need to shout that out every once in a while to all the Carrie worshipers in Salem.
Now, seriously, what experience does Carrie have as this great "defense" attorney, capable of defending Will against a first degree murder charge …. at least any that we’ve seen? She came to town and went right to work defending John, true; but, how many ways was that her success story? Did she do ANYTHING to credit her with being this great defense lawyer? Not that these eyes have seen. Was it Carrie who discovered that the picture was photo-shopped to prove that John was not where he was supposed to be in the photo, proving that the light was fabricated …. ummm, no, that would be Rafe’s doing; and as for getting John acquitted ….. that would be Stefano’s doing. So I have to ask, how is Carrie so qualified? I mean what else has she done except share an office with Rafe, tempting him on a daily basis as if she were Salome herself. Other than that, where is her experience, at least that we have seen?
Oh, wait, I almost forgot …….. there was the missing cat. I guess that could have been considered a possible kidnapping. LMAO!
He has become a pathetic excuse for a man, bullying young kids and women to suit his own purpose. I didn’t notice him getting so rough and tough with Rafe. The only time he did "act" like a stupid thug with Rafe was when he and Stefano had Rafe locked in the DiMera dungeon, behind bars, drugged, and beaten. Yeah, those DiMera boys are really tough guys, right? You don’t know how bad I wanted to see him try to push his way by Rafe yesterday, just so I could see him get punched out again and then carted off to jail.
She will be kidnapped by Andrew (Gabi’s paid stalker) and kept locked in his basement (ugh) hoping that it will impress Gabi. What a dweeb! Psycho 1…meet psycho 2.

Then we see the shooter kill (or, for lack of a better word, shoot) Stefano, go up and take his pulse (assuming again that was the hand of the shooter on his neck), and then have to get back to wherever they came from. When Abe returned home he was drenched from the storm, but when Lexi came down the stairs in her robe and pj’s, she was bone dry. A little hard for me to believe that she would have (as sick as she has become), leave the house, go the the Mansion, shoot Stefano, take his pulse, then leave, get in her car, drive home, get out of her car, run into the house, up the stairs, change into her robe and pj’s, and walk downstairs just when Abe got home, WHEN HE WAS THE FIRST ONE THERE TO THREATEN STEFANO. I can’t even begin to stretch my mind that far, so they had better come up with an explanation if that’s where the writers will take this. Now, she may very well take the blame for killing Steffie by confessing to his murder just so she doesn’t have to believe one of her dearest friends killed her father, knowing full well that she herself is losing her battle and will probably be dead very soon. Still, I can’t see it happening that way, no matter how "soapy" it would be.
STEFANO’S DEATHS:
This list includes times Stefano faked his death, was presumed dead, or was reported dead by others.
- A stroke in 1983.
- His car plunged into the icy waters of Salem’s harbor during a police chase in 1984
- Marlena shot him, and he fell from a catwalk as the building caught fire in 1985 (he also had a brain tumor)
- In 1991, he was presumed to have died in another fire and cave collapse.
- In 1994, his car erupted into a fireball after being shot at by John.
- Also in 1994, he drowned near Maison Blanche.
- In 1996, he died in a plane explosion.
- Again, in 1996, he was blown up and buried under collapsing tunnel during confrontation with Rachel Blake. This was his last depicted "death" until 2007.
- In 2002, Andre DiMera (posing as Tony) claimed that his uncle had died from injuries sustained from a car crash in Monte Carlo.
- In 2004, when Marlena and the presumed dead Salem Stalker victims found a blackened, unrecognizable corpse on Melaswen, Andre (posing as Tony) claimed it was Stefano. Andre said he had killed Stefano by draining his blood so Andre could cure his own blood disease.
- In 2007, his death was faked once again. As a setup by the Salem P.D., Steven "Patch" Johnson appeared to stab Stefano to death, but he was drugged and a fake funeral was set up to lure Andre.
- In 2009, he had a heart attack, but survived.
- On June 1, 2012, Stefano DiMera was shot dead from behind after several characters confronted him about his crimes.
same dialogue day to day; same flashbacks to the "who shot Stefano" story; like riding a merry-go-round for me. But, I expected them to slow it down right before the Olympics. But, for right now, most of what we are seeing is filler. Like yesterday’s Jack and Jen scenes. What nonsense. When did this suddenly happen between J&J? What happened to the PTSD build-up? That’s the problem for me —- most of what we are supposed to believe happened off-screen, like suddenly Jack wrote a book, his sessions with Marlena convinced him to take it to a publisher; the publisher loves it, sends a contract and an advance, and whammo — Jack’s exit story line begins; there is no build-up (at least that we see) to anything any longer. And why would Jack come to visit Lexi with Jennifer and then run right upstairs to play video games with Theo —- to give Jennifer and Lexi time alone together??? So what —- he doesn’t really care about Lexi? Such a poorly written script for yesterday. Jennifer’s sudden-found love for Jack returns just in time for him to leave. Please ….. this is just too tired for me.
one spoiler says that after viewing Stefano in his casket, she cries, tells him she loves him now and always, sheds a tear or two, and then runs off to burn the divorce papers he sent her. LOL … what a gal, that Kate!
for my taste anyway. Austin Peck was a good looker, but his acting was horrendous – again, IMO. This time around, the writers have turned PM into this wishy-washy doormat that no one wants to see. Carrie may be the serial cheating housewife who continues to walk all over Austin, but he’s the one who has never been unable to open his eyes and put his foot down, and his undying and forgiving love for Carrie just makes him look weak and all the more disgusting, like he’s her own personal little lap dog. It probably would have been a better way to write him if he did stand before her and Rafe and tell them both to go to hell, pick up his marbles and leave. Then, just when they thought they had it all, BANG, they find out Carrie is pregnant with Austin’s child. I would really like to have seen him walk out on Carrie before the pregnancy was revealed. It also bugs me that Kate and Billie never got all over Carrie the way they do to Sami. Just another example of why Sami should have gone to Kate and reminded her that her daughter-in-law is cheating on one of her ‘precious’ children with her brother-in-law. I don’t think they ever wrote anything about that, which would have been a typical, "right up her alley" story line for Kate. Might have been interesting to watch what she might have planned for Carrie and/or Rafe.
when she’s speaking to ANY man. She certainly doesn’t sound like that when she’s talking to Sami or Nicole or Madison. But, boy, when she’s talking with the men, she turns into Marilyn Monroe with a voice that would melt butter. Personally, I like her hair one color, regardless of the length; but, I would like to see her with a shorter, one-length cut, sort of like a medium length bob. LK is a beautiful woman who also is in her late 50’s, and most times I like her look, and since I read her interview stating changes were coming to her appearance, I have to assume this is it.

He’s a grown man who has walked, talked, lived and breathed DiMera since Stefano took him from wherever, and whether he is or is not on paper, he certainly hasn’t shown me any reason not to believe that he isn’t a full-blooded, hard-hearted, self-serving, using, manipulative dog. I hope Nicole does take him back, though, because they’re cut from the same cloth; but if she cares as much about her baby as she claims, she will clean up her own act before committing to anyone. I’m still hoping she gets caught for her and E.J.’s election fraud. I don’t think she cares one iota about Daniel; that smirk told me that she was obviously using him. As for Rafe, I think she would take him in a heartbeat over E.J. or Daniel if she thought Rafe could love her like he THINKS he loves Carrie.
