on an actor’s comings and goings, it is pretty evident, to me at least, that Peter Reckell is leaving. I have been following updates on this, and it has just been tweeted that Peter’s last taping date will be ‘circa end of July’, putting him on the show through all of summer and the fall. I’m looking for his departure during November sweeps. No news yet on his exit story though, and surely he will have one.
I would much rather the new writers take this route if they intend to have the egg-baby storyline make for good soap writing. Otherwise, this storyline falls flat on it’s face for me. I like Daniel and would not want to see him leave the show, but with Molly Burnette leaving and Nicole playing 3 men at one time now, and Jennifer so off my favorite to watch list right now, I would like to see the show take a U-turn with this storyline and make it something that could get exciting as well as believable. At least it sure would put a twist on a "WTD" storyline, wouldn’t it?
when the new writers take over. Personally, I think they are just chem-testing Kayla and Abe right now, and for this fan the results are not good. They are great as friends —- let’s leave them that way. Steve Nichols has been pretty secure in his job with Y&R, so it doesn’t seem to me he will want to be returning to DOOL; but, you never know. His wife on that show has been let go, and it is rumored she may be returning to DOOL, but there has been no confirmation that Eileen Davidson will be returning, just wishful thinkers like me. However, Steve (Patch) Johnson is just one of those characters for me who, like Bo Brady, simply cannot be replaced.
boy, talk abut "death defying," that young man not only took the prize for the most amazing daredevil of all time, but he seems to be a very lovely person, loving family man, and has a strong faith in God, referencing his prayers, out loud, while walking the wire. The mist, the wind, the fact that he was 20 stories high, all made it a sight to behold. I was truly amazed. Hard to even think of what he will try next.
then Lord knows, I wish ALL commercials were only 10 or 15 seconds long. I mean, Gabi faked a cramp and Melanie took out the bottle, handed it to Gabi, who looked at it and said ….. "hmmmm, Midol Complete," and then you heard the argument between Chad and Will, and that was the end of that.
but it looks like those silly writers are hinting toward at least chem-testing MBE and JR., which I find ridiculous. They can’t write for the couples they do have without throwing turmoil into the mix. They need to fix what’s already broken first.

it would not be unrealistic to believe that he would know of a heap of criminal defense attorneys to recommend with experience far above and beyond Carrie’s. This is just another last-ditch effort to pimp Carrie and Rafe, who I’m sure she will call upon to "work side-by-side" with her on Will’s case, while finding the time to oggle one another throughout the trial. Personally, I don’t think there will even be a trial.

at least she was honest about who and what he was. Nice reminder of his past returns from the dead, and I was ROTFLMAO when she said she wanted to stick a pin in him to make sure he was dead. I thought she spoke the most truthful, considering all Stefano has done to her and her family, and yet she was sympathetic enough toward E.J. I also think it was pretty big of her to step up and give E.J. his time with his children, even though Johnny’s line "we’re DiMeras" was so foreshadowing, it was almost deserving for E.J. to hear it.
The one that struck me as pathetic was Nicole. What in the hell was that little talk with Stefano about, anyway? In a span of about six or seven lines of dialogue, she admitted she was carrying E.J.’s baby, but would never want him or her to be raised a DiMera; but, she loved how Stefano loved his children, but never wanted her child to know his heritage; but wanted him to be just like E.J. and Stefano …. fierce and unafraid; but, never wanted E.J. to find out that he was her baby’s father. Woman, please, you had my head spinning and hurting at the same time. And, by the way, who cut your bangs, Sydney???
