Watching Days today and wonder what happened. When did Maggie find out what Victor did? I missed a few days and I don’t remember seeing anything about this on the board. Someone, please fill me in.
Years ago victor stole some eggs, I guess he owned a fertility clinic or something, well his best friends Daniels mom and dad were having trouble getting pregnant, so victor stole some embryos, he had no idea they were maggies, and didn’t even know Maggie then, she over heard victor and henderson talking about it and that’s how she found out. Daniel is maggies bio son.
Hope that’s right, maybe someone else can explain it better.
not embryos. And Maggie is mad becausse Victor lied to her and didn’t tell her about it. I find this whole thing totally ridiculous. I can’t believe Maggie would consider a divorce over this. She’s acting like those eggs were like a piece of her. Heck, she flushed them down the toilet every month for most of her life. Kiss and make up you two and get on with life.
If they had been embryos the dad would have been Mickey Horton. As it is, I am not sure they have told us yet who the father of Daniel really is.
anyway because he was sterile which is why Maggie had stored the eggs. I think we are to assume that Daniel’s father is his father but it would make for a good story if it turned out that he was sterile also so Victor donated sperm for the eggs. Then Victor and Maggie could be his biological parents.
I would much rather the new writers take this route if they intend to have the egg-baby storyline make for good soap writing. Otherwise, this storyline falls flat on it’s face for me. I like Daniel and would not want to see him leave the show, but with Molly Burnette leaving and Nicole playing 3 men at one time now, and Jennifer so off my favorite to watch list right now, I would like to see the show take a U-turn with this storyline and make it something that could get exciting as well as believable. At least it sure would put a twist on a "WTD" storyline, wouldn’t it?
Yay!! I’m so glad that they aren’t breaking up victor and Maggs! it would have really really sucked if they did break them up. At least they made one right move.
I think that would be perfect. It would add more reason as to why he took such a liking Melanie. Although I suppose him knowing she was Maggie’s granddaughter would be enough for him. But then what about Melanie having been married to Philip?
I think Victor didn’t know she was Daniel’s daughter until her wedding day but wouldn’t he have done whatever he could to terminate that marriage? Instead he was supportive. This would not go well for him at all. Darn, I think I just lost an argument with myself.
