when we ‘cut and paste’. They delete certain portions of a scene or dialogue (like they did with not showing Ian’s kane with the engraved emblem of the Phoenix on it when it was originally planned for him to be a DiMera), thus killing the old spoiler that was already revealed; or they can change a path of a storyline by simply re-taping the rewritten portion and editing the scene removing the old and inserting the new. Sometimes it’s done poorly and you can catch it, because the continuity of the scene is off. Sort of like when someone changes or adds a different piece of clothing or jewelry, etc., in a show and you know they haven’t been anywhere and it’s still the same day. Most of the time they are successful, but sometimes the editing of the dialogue or the scene itself could be out of sync when it’s shown, depending on how much was cut and re-taped, and then reinserted in the episode. Usually, though, it’s so small it’s undetected, but sometimes it’s obvious that a change was made. Remember DOOL is 3 months ahead in taping, so the new writers have had plenty of time to make small changes before a particular episode actually airs.

I don’t know why, but I can’t help thinking here is where we will finally find out if Stefano is really alive or dead, and that somehow Kristen may have been the shooter. She is, after all, Stefano’s adopted daughter and I’m thinking maybe she knew E.J. was not his biological son, but would stand to inherit what she perceives to be "hers." Don’t read anything into this, anybody, it’s just speculation on my part that might possibly identify Stefano’s shooter.
Ali has looked great the last few days; especially her hairstyle. That’s how I like her hair, although I think it was just the bangs I hated about it. She is such a beautiful woman and I have loved her hairstyles throughout the years, up-swept or down. But what they’re trying for Nicole’s look, I will never understand. Her hairstyle is so unflattering for such a gorgeous face. And, please, let those bangs grow out, Ari. That was the biggest faux paux for your hairstyle ever made for you. You should be *itchin’ at your stylist, for sure.
and he is agreeing that Eileen Davidson is, indeed, returning to Days of Our Lives; however, the one unsettled question we had as to whether it will be Kristen or Susan …. ask no longer, because it will be BOTH. Now, I can’t wait. See

Also, About.com is confirming that Greg Vaugn (formerly Lucky Spencer from GH; formerly Diego from Y&R) has been hired as a recast for Jensen Eckles to portray Eric Brady.
Last air dates …. Christie Clark (Carrie) and Patrick Muldoon (Austin) is August 25th; Molly Burnett (Melanie) is August 27th; Ian Buchanan (end of August); as well as Matt Ashford (Jack) and Sara Joy Brown (Melanie), but no specific date reported.
so I guess it depends on where you live. SW mentioned that Mass. kids go back in July. Here, our kids last day was June 8th, but only because they didn’t use anywhere near their allotted "snow days". I think they were originally scheduled to close the second week in June, and their opening day back for the 2012/2013 year is August 27th. So, it’s definitely where you are on the map. Guess Salem, U.S.A. is in or near your state’s school district. LOL!
got out this year on June 8th, with half days the last three days of school. We have tons of snow in Maryland, but this year there was not much snow at all, thus the unused snow days were credited with an earlier "last day of school." But, even if lots of snow days were used, and maybe every county’s jurisdiction might be different, but I cannot ever remember them keeping schools open beyond the 3rd week of June, let alone the 4th week. Just sayin’, that’s why it was lame. I don’t remember hearing that Sami’s kids were involved any special school or project that would keep them in school. It was just another example of stupid writing, IMO.
I didn’t like the scene, because I think they are moving much too quickly with this sudden romance. I don’t have any thoughts for or against sex during pregnancy, but on top of a desk just looks trashy to me. However, I will repeat that I love the chemistry between Nicole and Daniel and hope to hell she NEVER goes back to E.J.
In a sense, Nora, although you have had this dreadful disease for so long now, God did bless you with one very important quality, and that is your beautiful, sunny attitude. I realize there must be days when it’s difficult to put on a happy face, but I truly want you to know that I have never in my life known anyone who could accept and live with their disease and still maintain the wonderfully warm disposition that you certainly have acquired throughout your fight. You must have a beautiful, strong and loving family, as well, especially your mom, who seems to be right there for you and with you, every step of the way. I wish you a heart full of best wishes and know you will continue to just be our ‘Nora’ — and that you will always know that you, my dear, will always be in our prayers.

Everyone looked so elegant, and I loved the new short cut on Chad (Casey Deidrich) as well. Although I liked Will’s hair a little longer, Chad’s looks great. Can’t wait to see it on the show.
You were in fine company, but you deserved it. But, the writers (Dena Higley, et. al., —- seriously?) By the way, I will never understand why DOOL didn’t snatch up Nathan Parsons when he was let go from GH. He could be James Scott’s brother, IRL, in looks, height, build, etc. Even has the accent to go with it. Missed opportunity there, Days.
is because she ‘tweeted’ on May 12, 2012, that "Still don’t know why, but it’s true. I have been let go." Y&R is not as far ahead as DOOL in their tapings, and they are still showing her character, "Ashley Abbott McCall", although very little of late. She has already filed for a divorce from her husband, Tucker McCall, a/k/a Steve Nichols, who is already with someone else, so I expect Ashley will be leaving town very soon, and Eileen Davidson has already ‘left the building.’ If she was allowed to seek other employment after being fired, and was immediately approached by DOOL, the timing would be perfect for her to show up right after the two-week break for the Olympics, in early August. So, that’s why I think it’s Eileen. Also, several members of the Y&R cast have "spilled the beans" that she is coming back to Days. However, no written confirmation from the actress, the show, or the network. If it is Eileen Davidson, the show and the network have really kept it quiet, as she would definitely have begun taping by now.
