of the early years instead of an episode from last month or last year, which they often do.  Of course, I’m not talking abuot a national preemption, or even a local one, like a presidential preemption, but usually when they show a preemption for a holiday, they put on a DOOL epi that was taped earlier, usually something they deem worth watching again, but not a "classic" epi from the very early years …..

I think he thinks he’s the pro instead of the star.  It’s as if he’s telling the pro what to do, and I don’t think they like that very much.  He’s quite a bit more "bossy" this year compared to his last appearance, and it’s quite obvious he does not like criticism.

I hope Kelly stays, I really like her  and her dancing.  I can’t see why she’s criticized so much.  People are judging her from her time on Dirty Soaps, and are always finding ways to put her down.  BUT, she’s so petite and yet has such balance and rhythm.  Her and Val are a bit over the top with their romantic innuendos, but I think it’s more Val than it is Kelly.  In any case, I really liked them last night.

Kirstie is improving every week now, and the world seems to love her.  Anyone noticing she’s lost quite a bit of weight, and appears to be keeping up with Maks much better than in the beginning, when I thought for sure she would go home every week, yet here she is and getting quite a lot of attention and praise for improvement.

Melissa is just the cream of the crop for me.  Is there anything that girl can’t do?  And Tony was the perfect partner for her, and that’s just fine with me if they win it.  Tony is just the sweetest guy, and he’s been cut short for years now and deserves to win, and I think he can do it with Melissa.

Derek and Shawn are marvelous, and she’s come a long long way in her performances.  Seems she gets better every week, but she’s so tiny and Derek is so tall, I think sometimes their effort is overlooked by the judges.

It would not bother me one bit if Emmett and Cheryl were eliminated tonight, but I don’t know who I would want to go home as my second choice for elimination.  Maybe Kirstie and Maks, but it would not surprise me if they were saved.  In any case, I would rather see Kirstie go than Kelly.

to get the name "Redskins" removed from Washington’s NFL team, all to no avail.  And Donald Trump is nothing more than a sore loser.  If he were half as gracious a man as Mitt Romney, maybe people would take him more seriously.  Instead, he thinks along the same prejudicial guidelines of that other idiot, Rush Limbaugh.  I don’t know how that goof keeps his job either.

of showing "classic" epis, delving back into the shows of yesteryear, when DOOL was at it’s best and, oh yeah, the writing was to die for.  Kudos to whoever made this possible.  There’s nothing today that can compare to the archives of the 80’s and 90’s and even before …. NOTHING!

and let Nicole lay the hell in it.  What does Jen think she will accomplish by apologizing to Nikki now?  I’m guessing this will all lead into Jennifer now holding all the cards as to whether or not Nicole goes to jail.  This payback and phony apologies has to stop.  It’s like, the story is over, Jen succeeded in destroying Nicole’s hopes and dreams of getting her white knight, Daniel, even though he really loves Jen.  Like I said before, give me back my snarky, witty, vodka swilling, smart-a**, Nicole any day instead of the pathetic, love-starved, basket case I’m watching today.  I mean somebody throw this girl a bone instead of watching her continue on this path of destroying herself.  Ari deserves better.

maybe John’s too stupid to realize that he’s allowing his marriage to crumble right before his eyes because of his inability to accept what he knows in his heart Kristen is planning.  I cannot believe he is trying to convince Marlena that this woman is sincere.  I just want to see Marlena take charge of her life AND her marriage.  If Roman sees that she’s down enough, he’ll come running, even though I believe he has accepted that Marlena loves John.  Roman would be there for her in an instant, and maybe that’ what John needs.  I would like to have Marlena set the trap and have Kristen fall into it BEFORE she destroys J&M.  I love ED, but Kristen is quickly becoming a pain in my ***.

of another baby storyline, planned, unplanned or otherwise, especially right after Nicole’s dead baby one.  This is really getting on my last nerve, if that’s what they are planning.  And, yes, it would have to be Will’s, which would interfere in the Sonny and Will bromance, as well as Gabbi and Nick’s, and then it would of course have to involve Rafe and Sami and Lucas, probably Kate, and all of the other Brady’s and Hortons, who will no doubt have to add their two cents to the matter, all the while watching Chad turn darker and darker and probably eventually doing something to Gabbi that may cause her or the baby harm, or worse, involving more the the evil DiMeras to the storyline because of Chad’s determination to take Gabbi down a path of destruction that he believes she deserves, yadda, yadda, yadda.  I am so sick of these repetitive stories and cannot believe there are not good writers out there SOMEWHERE!  Soap operas are a dying genre to begin with, and for those of us who love them, it’s an awareness we see getting closer and closer to reality; I don’t need to see them being pushed off the cliff because of poor writing.

and the only thing that was missed was "T" and his girlfriend trying to talk Sonny into calling Will, and then back to the Brady Pub with Gabbi trying to convince Will to call Sonny.  It came back with Daniel talking down Nicole from cutting her throat with the scapel she intended on using on Jennifer.  He did and she was taken to the hospital.

and I am as disgusted as everyone else when it comes to interrupting DOOL or any other soap for a conference.  But, the President’s interruption was very brief, and it was to the advantage of everyone who pays taxes, as it was primarily focused on the fiscal cliff about to come to fruition on January 1st where payroll taxes will be increased IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BUSH mantra, which was was due to take effect on January 1, 2011, but was extended and now ends on December 31st, 2012.  The President is meeting with other leaders next week to try and stop taxes from being raised on January 1st, along with other matters of immediate concern.  I give him credit for letting people know that he is trying stop payroll taxes from being increased effective January 1, 2013.  That was about it.

Incidentally, I just realized what I like about "T" …. it’s his voice.

all she did was say that she "wasn’t sure" that Jennifer pushed her down the stairs; that she may have lost her balance and fell.  Therefore, she was no longer accusing Jennifer of killing her baby; hence, they had to let Jen go.  Now, she has admitted in a taped statement that not only did she know her baby was already dead before she fought with Jen, but also that she lied when she said Jen pushed her, resulting in her baby’s death.

she lied, knew she lied, and then made an accusation which resulted in Jen being put in jail.  The fact that she recanted her statement showed that she falsley accused someone of killing her baby, resulting in that person to go to jail, all the while knowing her child was dead.  What would be the legal terminology for that?

because when you are pregnant with a man’s child, miscarry, and then decide a secret pillow baby will save you for now until you come across another child that you can convince your husband is yours and his, EXCEPT IT’S NOT; so when you find this poor little pregnant girl, Mia, and convince her to give you her baby to raise as yours and E.J.’s, and you promise to take care of it and raise it and love it  with all your heart, EXCEPT YOU DON’T; and then you find out Sami Brady is pregnant with E.J.’s child, so you plot, plan, and lie to everybody and anybody you can, even to a nun, and convince Sister Theresa to take Sami to a clinic where Sami can deliver her child, then blackmail the doctor to switch that child with the one you were given by Mia, because now you are determined to simply take Sami’s baby and pass it off as yours and E.J.’s, SO THAT’S WHATCHA’ DID; knowing him well enough to know full well that since you did not give birth to this child and knew all along that the baby was Sami’s and E.J.’s, and that if E.J. ever found out, he would throw you out because your lies and deceit have convinced him that the child you so convincingly passed off was not yours and E.J.’s but Sami’s and E.J.’s, EXCEPT YOU DIDN’T; etc., etc., etc., etc., I could go on and on, but realize most will continue to put Nicole on a pedestal, regardless of what she does.  I just hope Father Brady can help her see the error of her ways.  Maybe they should have a scene in a confessional, with Sami on one side of Father Eric and Nicole on the other side.  Poor guy would feel like Reagan in The Exorcist; his head would spin back and forth so much, it would fly off his shoulders.

with Audry, who happens to have a gay brother, has become a little more understanding as to how two people can deeply care for one another and still be friends with people they have known all their lives, even though their sexual preferences differ.  T is now realizing that it is Will he cares about, and not necessarily his lifestyle.  That, to me, is how "T" is progressing.  I’m warming up to him, and I love his voice.  It’s just something about it that’s very distinct.  I just hope he stays that way if Audrey decides he’s not for her.
