ParticipantI so did love it when Marlena was holding her cool with Kristen, even when John was being negative about anything she had to say about Kristen and her motives. She just handled herself so well and I was so proud of her. Now she seems to be floundering because Kristen is getting the best of all of them and even though Marlena knows exactly what Kristen is doing, there’s very little she can do about it, because she only reveals her true self to Marlena, and plays the ‘oh, they’re all so MEAN, MEAN, MEAN to me’ card with Brady and John. Now that John knows that Doc was right all along, I hope he bonds with her to bring Kristen down. However, that being said, Kristen is so driven by hate, the fact remains that she will never get John to love her now that she’s revealed her hand, and she finally knows it. It’s been an interesting storyline and a chance to display some very good acting as well as writing; but, it’s time for John and Marlena to let go. Brady isn’t a teenager, he’s a grown man with his own money and power, as well as his own choices, so if he chooses to allow himself to be led around by his nose, then John and Marlena have to see this and just step back, or, better yet, walk away. That’s when Kristen would finally see that her plan is NOT working and she would have to admit to herself that either she is really starting to care for Brady, or that Marlena and John are not going to be affected by her and Brady’s behavior any longer, and that would be the end of it. But, no, John and Marlena have to be like every other parent with grown children in Salem are — still butting in their lives, never allowing them to make their own decisions, mistakes or not, and parents who just can’t cut the apron strings. Too bad, because there are so many of them now.

Participantmade him ‘homophobic’ and downright rude to Will, who is his cousin. They’ve changed Nick from his original personality, before he got hooked on the drugs that drove him to do what he did to Melanie and before he was sent to prison. He was a very loving Horton, especially with Maggie, and now he’s morphed into this rude, hyper-insensitive, and obsessive character for no explained reason. They need to reveal the prison back-story on Nick. There has to be a reason he shows a completely different side of him that has changed him into what we see before us today, and it had to stem from his time in prison. Otherwise, it makes no sense for him to be this way.

Participantwith Al Roker. I don’t think it’s her first time doing it either. Yes, she sure keeps busy and still manages to find time to do things with her family. I say "good for you, Ali."

Participantbecause he will soon realize that everything Marlena was trying to warn him about Kristen was the truth, and he’ll feel like the damned fool he is. Soon after he gets over himself, he’ll come to realize that Marlena is still the most important person in his life, and they’ll work together to try and make Brady see the true Kristen Dimera and how she works. Although, Brady is such an a$$, I’m not sure he deserves to see the truth until he finds it out for himself.

Participantalthough most want to see that happen. I would much rather have Nicole get involved in the Kristen/Brady mess, since she is still close to Brady and would not want to see him get mixed up with Kristen. If they revisit Nicole and E.J., I will be extremely surprised, since that’s not the way the show (Corday) stated it would go. I was waiting for E.J. to throw her down on her butt and simply walk away from her, which he may still do, in fact.

Participantit’s just an office.

ParticipantI’m over being tired of his indecisive nature throughout all of this, and he needs to either put up or shut up. As for Gabi and Nick (especially Nick), I would love to see the roof cave in on them, because what they are doing is not only going to affect Will, but a multitude of people. Boy, when this umbrella blows inside out in this perfect storm they’re so carefully trying to avoid, the outcome should be explosive for all, but I’m getting a little tired of waiting for it to get here.
As for Sami, so much for her reaching maturity at long last. Lord, that woman disappointed me yesterday. Kudos to Eric for physically removing her. Just wish he would have given her a swift kick on the way out the door, but that just would not bode well with the Church. I didn’t notice, doesn’t the rectory door have a lock on it? I guess I wouldn’t be so upset with her if her reasons were truly about protecting Gabi and Nick, but they’re not. Clearly it’s her way of keeping herself in Rafe’s orbit. She needs a "wake-up call" (and by that I mean a personal tragedy to put her thoughts and actions into proper perspective) like no other person on this show right about now. SO DO IT, WRITERS!

Participantover the last couple of weeks, as well as the acting. I’m enjoying Kristen, but really wish Brady would wake up and smell the coffee. I know lots of people like them together, but I’m sorry to say I’m not one of them.

Participantit doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Participantlike around the 28th.

Participantshe did all this planning and conning simply to get revenge on John and Marlena; mostly John by thinking she could get him back, but at the same time she thought she could make Marlena crazy enough to do some horrific things to make her look bad not only in John’s eyes, but everyone else’s. She failed miserably on both counts. Now, even though she is beginning to have some feelings for Brady, she’s still determined to succeed in getting her revenge, but now she gets to have Brady truly falling for her in the process, who has become such a pathetic character for me that I have lost all respect for him. All I know is I’m tired of it. Get this over with, and either return Kristen to the DiMera fold and put her in some corporate storyline going head to head with Kate or Sami or whoever, but end these ridiculous games with John and Marlena finally seeing what she’s doing and deciding that Brady just isn’t worth the effort to even interfere.
I’m just as thoroughly disgusted with this baby storyline. I was enjoying it for a while, but it has become so predictable that it’s gotten way out of hand. If Will is so damned conflicted, just tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may. If Sonny and Will are meant to be, they’ll work it out, but this baby will have Will’s DNA, not Nicks, so it would be very easy for him to own up to it and put the truth out there. Will is way too childish for this relationship, and to me he’s the one ruining it.
I’m disappointed in Nick; I thought he was going to get back into a good corporate storyline, not this childish obsession he’s mixed up with. I wanted to see some backstory of his time in jail that caused him to revert back to the way he is now, and also why he is so homophobic with his remarks to Will and Sonny. Did something happen to him when he was in jail. I will admit, however, I did love the way he went up against Kate when they met to discuss his contract to work at Titan. He’s good in that kind of role, and anybody who can put Kate in her place is just fine with me.
Finally, I need them to either replace Bo Brady or write him out in some way that he is, in fact, GONE. These invisible references are just not doing it for me. I realize they’re waiting to decide what to do with Hope, but either recast PR or kill Bo off. I’ve had it.
The stories are okay, but they need some spice and uplift IMHO.

Participantthat damn Kristen so deserved it. I just wish Marlena would have done it with a closed fist.

Participantover what we’ve been seeing these past few months. I would, however, love to see her get her hair cut. Missy has a very pretty face, and that long, stringy hair they’ve been insisting she wear has not been flattering to her at all. Even down and curled, I feel it’s too much; but nothing that a really good cut, long layers maybe, would be an improvement for me. That little black dress she had on the other day looked really nice on her. She’s very petite with a good build and should be wearing clothes that flatter her, not diminish her looks. As for Daniel, I can’t for the life of me figure out why so many people, especially on other boards, hate him so. I think he’s adorable, and when he smiles, he just lights up the room. Kate … think what you want of her, but she has always, always been one of the best lookers on the show, and much of that has to do with her wardrobe, which I think is sheik, modern, and so fitting for Lauren Koslow. I would like to see some improvement to the hair, like lose some of the streaks and use a calming creme rinse to make it softer and shinier. Some think her wardrobe is outrageous; I happen to think it fits her like a glove.
Patti
Participantoh, well, that’s just Maggie; but it’s not …. it’s EVERYONE in Salem now. Everybody has to stick their unwanted two cents into everyone else’s business. It’s so degrading to the show. Stop this, writers. You’re the laughing stock of the boards the way you are portraying these characters. Just take a good look at every single character on this show and tell me who DOESN’T but into everyone else’s business. Now they’ve even got Hope doing it. STOP IT — the writers are killing this show.

Participantthis child has no acting ability whatsoever, no chemistry with anyone, and is much more interested in her surroundings than she is with her fellow actors, who are supposed to be mom and dad. The little girl who plays Ally Horton runs rings around the child who plays Sydney. She may be a little older, but Sydney should be getting used to the lights, cameras action by now. I wish they would use Ally more in scenes. The child even looks like she could belong to Ali Sweeney, and she seems comfortable in front of the camera. Too bad the powers that be can’t (or won’t) see that.
