Participantin 2010 for Alice’s illness and subsequent death. Bill’s ex-wife, Laura, also returned, but it was made obvious that he still had a strong connection with Kate. The actor was very handsome, and, even better, he was extremely good in the role. Fans really liked him and were hoping he would be brought back, so I would like to see that happen. Just so long as they don’t start a triangle with Bill/Kate/Roman. Aaaggghhhhh!
Might even be a good way to finally start writing for Bryan Dattilo. Lucas could sure use his dad in his life right about now, and, let’s face it, so far he’s only been a prop for the Will/Sony stuff, and an occasional voice of reasoning (if you can believe it) for Sami. So, yes, I would love to see a return of Bill Horton with John Martin in the role.

Participantseems TPTB have waited around for him to make up his mind long enough now. The last interview Peter gave, which was posted on About.com a month or so ago, said that he and his wife and daughter were planning on traveling the long and winding road for an undetermined amount of time. They went to stay with Peter’s family in Michigan for a few weeks; then to Kelly’s family in Alaska for a few weeks; then to Costa Rica "for some time." He still says that Corday told him that they would not kill Bo off, and that the door is still open for him at Days, but I say here and now —- enough. Either re-cast him or kill him off. But don’t keep him invisible; it’s just ridiculously stupid! And it’s the dead of winter now, damn it ….. maybe it’s time to close the door.

Participantbut Kate’s cancer returning and Bill Horton returning to be at her side….. absolutely ….. especially if they bring John Martin back in the role. If this rumor becomes fact, I do hope they make Kate at least look like she has stage 4 cancer instead of like she’s on vacation with her satin sheets, satin pj’s, etc., tons of make-up, and not a hair out of place. Speaking as someone who lost her husband to 4-stage lung cancer — that was an insult to me.

ParticipantJohn would never do this. I agree about Marlena’s completely falling apart being so totally out of character for her. She would fight Kristen tooth and nail, and win. I’m sort of going with the belief that this is a cover. I know that Drake will definitely be back, which makes it even more believable, to me, anyway, that he does have some sort of a plan in mind, but to not share it with Marlena seems highly incredulous to me. If it were any other couple, then maybe; but not this couple. The two of them (J&M) were the closest thing to Bo and Hope when it came to working together, and I’m just not falling for this complete fail they are trying to perpetrate with this writing. Sorry, but just no!

Participantto go up against Kristen. When the last scene showed Kristen opening her door and seeing Nicole standing — well, it just made me smile. I need Kristen to at least START getting some payback; she’s winning too many hands of late, and I think Nicole and her having it out would be extremely entertaining.

Participanteven Randy is getting on my last nerve this year. I’m waiting for a contestant to just walk out, and nobody even notices it.

Participantbut Nick is in control because Gabi is allowing Nick to be in control. Nick is beginning to show tendencies leaning heavily toward emotional abuse where Gabi is concerned. He always finds a way to talk himself out of it, but he is getting darker and darker with Gabi. I’m very happy to see Will start standing up to him, because Gabi, although she claims she loves Will as her best friend, is allowing Nick to be as verbally abusive with Will as he is becoming emotionally abusive to Gabi. I I have a feeling we are going to see a whole new possibility here where Nick is concerned, which will show him getting more and more obsessive with Gabi and trying to take control of their situation, while refusing to allow Gabi to have anything to say about it —- so long as he gets what he wants. I think we have some good stuff coming our way, but I don’t think we’ve even seen the tip of this iceberg with Nick yet. And Gabi, because she truly loves Nick, will allow it to continue — we may be looking at a domestic abuse storyline down the road between Nick and Gabi. I don’t think he will intentionally hurt her physically, but this character actually sent a chill down my spine yesterday when Will asked him if he was insane, and Nick responded "don’t ever say that to me again…ever." It’s obvious to me that since his mother was mentally disturbed, plus we still have not been made aware of his back-story in prison, we have yet to see where the writers are going with this storyline. I do love the fact, however, that the umbrella effect it’s having on so many other lives in Salem is very very good right now, and is showing the interaction between characters we are not used to see working together. I’m getting more and more into it now!

Participantright down to the very last word in the very last line.

Participantand while it’s true, E.J. always has a hidden agenda when it comes to Sami, it does not take away from what I perceived as a genuine intent to help Will through a very difficult situation in his young life. Even though his family is supportive of Will, with the exception of Marlena, no one really knows how to have a genuine heart-felt conversation with him. Instead they’ve been either shocked with disbelief and trying to persuade or dissuade him from believing he is a gay man, or they have been combative to a degree that brings up too many insecure memories of his own childhood, or they have not given him credit for having his own brain and together with Gabi and Nick should be able to make their own decisions on how to handle this extremely stressful situation so that it will benefit this child. I think at least E.J. can help him with that, regardless of his reasons behind it.

Participantand although I am an Obama backer, I, too, have more respect for the Office of President of the United States and all that position entails than the leader behind the desk at the time. Incidentally, your posts are enjoyable to read; they are sensible, well written, and to the point, even if I sometimes disagree.

Participantbut they’re so darn addictive, I just can’t seem to stop myself. I’ve been watching DAYS practically since it’s beginning. Honestly, the show used to be so good that I would come home on my lunch hour to watch it. That was before they allowed you to have TV in the workplace. Now, it’s more predictable than watchable, for me anyway.

ParticipantI wasn’t doubting them, Bonbon — I was congratulating them!!!!!

Participantso you beat me to it casey. I am probably still drunk with happiness today, no kidding. I never lost faith in the Ravens, even though the media, other sports professionals, players and coaches, never gave them the credit they have deserved, even though they have gone to the playoffs five straight years. But, that’s their prerogative, I guess, but it does my heart proud to be able to tell them it’s a little late the jump on the bandwagon.
Yes, it’s going to be as I predicted, the "Harbowl" with, for the first time I might add, the Superbowl being played by two teams with brothers as their head coaches. Jack and Jackie Harbaugh must be bursting with pride today, and who can blame them. To have your two sons on opposite sides coaching their teams in the Superbowl must be beyond the imagination of any parents I can think of who, whether they are in a sports-related family or not. Suffice it to say, they will have no favorite in this game. LOL!
I’m just so proud of the Ravens, and yes, maybe now the talking heads in the sports media will give Joe the credit he so richly deserves. Congratulations, also, to John Harbaugh’s younger brother, Jim, who proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the 49ers are also a team to be reckoned with this year. Hats off to two teams, led by two brothers, very evenly matched from the quarterbacks to the guys on the bench. I can’t even talk today, and this city is going wacko for Flacco, but we also can’t help but be proud of little brother Jim and his 49ers. See you in New Orleans, where not only I’m hoping for a Superbowl win, but the final game of a legend, Ray Lewis. What a party this will be on February 3rd.
GOOOOO RAVENS —- WHOOP WHOOP !!!!!

Participantthe fact that there are rumors abound has people wondering if they are doing it to Drake …. AGAIN!
Patti
Participantit was just a plot to have Daniel discover it so that he would ‘believe’ that since Jennifer already knew that Chloe was a hooker after she gave birth to Parker, that Jen would find a way to use that information to keep her from ever going after Daniel or from leaving Salem with Parker. Since NB’s already finished shooting her time on DOOL, whatever happens will only be temporary. What gets me more is the fact that Nicole is trying harder than Ann in HR to break Daniel away from Jennifer …… still. Really, Niki, move on will ya?
