There’s a rumor floating around that Kate has Cancer again. Also Rex and Cassie come back to town. Another rumor states that Bill Horton helps her through it. I find these all fairly plausable since Kate has recently referenced being 5 years Cancer free and has spoken about visiting Rex and Cassie. Also at Christmas she was at the Horton’s and spoke to Bill on the phone.
but Kate’s cancer returning and Bill Horton returning to be at her side….. absolutely ….. especially if they bring John Martin back in the role. If this rumor becomes fact, I do hope they make Kate at least look like she has stage 4 cancer instead of like she’s on vacation with her satin sheets, satin pj’s, etc., tons of make-up, and not a hair out of place. Speaking as someone who lost her husband to 4-stage lung cancer — that was an insult to me.
the original Bill Horton? If so, I really liked him. He was the one that was there for the anniversary, right? But then, they couldn’t very well bring back the other one (Dee Stone’s husband) as he died.
I’m with you Patti, same with my DH (only throat) plus having gone through cancer and chemo myself. You just don’t look like that. In fact, some days it’s a chore just to put clothes on.
I watched my dad die of cancer and my moms best friend. Neither of them looked half as good as Kate. She still had color in her cheeks, not to mention all her hair. At least when Chloe had leukemia she looked sick, lost her hair and spent time on set looking near death.
in 2010 for Alice’s illness and subsequent death. Bill’s ex-wife, Laura, also returned, but it was made obvious that he still had a strong connection with Kate. The actor was very handsome, and, even better, he was extremely good in the role. Fans really liked him and were hoping he would be brought back, so I would like to see that happen. Just so long as they don’t start a triangle with Bill/Kate/Roman. Aaaggghhhhh!
Might even be a good way to finally start writing for Bryan Dattilo. Lucas could sure use his dad in his life right about now, and, let’s face it, so far he’s only been a prop for the Will/Sony stuff, and an occasional voice of reasoning (if you can believe it) for Sami. So, yes, I would love to see a return of Bill Horton with John Martin in the role.
Now I remember. Thanks bluebonnet. I really liked him and never really cared for Stone (can’t remember his first name).
But now I vaguely recall the other guy and, yes, he was very good looking. We "older" folks need a hunk too. Somebody to give Doug a run for his money. I think that both he (Bill Hayes) and Bob Barker look fabulous for their age.
Looks a little bit like the guy from M*A*S*H…CRS! :o) But isn’t he supposed to be Mickey’s older brother? He’s only 62 (IRL). He should be pushing 80. But then, he’s a better match for Kate this way. I’m looking forward to this. Maybe Kate will be involved in something we can like her for.
Maybe it’s a weird way to get her and Stefano back together again? Who knows? Can’t wait to find out how they explain Cassie’s absence. Has she been upstairs this whole time?
anyone heard anything about it being an actual spoiler? I haven’t, so for now I’m not paying too much attention to it — especially the Rex/Cassie part — but I’d welcome a John Martin return!
Just a rumor. I only said Spoiler in case anyone doesn’t want to know anything happening in the future whether real or speculation.
I was so glad Billie let Kate have it. She told her exactly the truth. Kate thinks she is entitled to be or do anything she wants with no remorse.
I was proud of Billie, but I doubt Kate will change her evil ways.
Kate looks worse than I have ever seen her. There’s definitely no beauty in her.
