I think Blake Berris’ contract is up in May, 2013. I seriously doubt, though, that they would get rid of an actor with his talent, unless, of course, it was his decision to leave. I haven’t read or heard anything, but I’m guessing there will be a redemption arc after all this is over, but there’s still a lot I want to learn about Nick Fallon and the back-story of his prison life as well as the huge but very apparent homophobia he has now. Also, does his personality have anything to do with his mother’s DID? Lot’s to uncover about Nick, and I need Blake Berris, and no one else, in that role.

DiMera; Rafe Hernandez (he seduced her); Rafe 2 (Arnold something) (he seduced her while impersonating Rafe); and Daniel Jonas. I can’t think of anyone else. Not as many as Kate, but that’s more relationships than Daniel’s, that’s for sure.
the way they are being written now. I’ve been waiting to see if this would ever happen — that the writers would write them as a true couple and not this love/hate vendetta stage of their lives that’s been going on for so long. Sure, they’re bad to the bone —- exactly the way it should be.
on another way they might uncover Nick’s blackmail of Will. When he and Sami were talking seriously about how to get Nick "out of the way," Sami said she, with someone’s help (Lucas), could easily get into the police evidence room and get the paperwork on E.J.’s shooting, E.J. then said that the tapes were probably on Nick’s computer and it would be easy to get them and erase them. That may be how they get him with blackmailing Will.

to her bad girl image, and being matched with E.J. now is perfect for her. I was glad, though, that she did not want to go along with killing Nick, just finding a way for him to break his parole and put him back in prison, but E.J. did seem to like the idea of killing him a little too much. LOL!
how do we know he wasn’t raped as well? Thinking back to today’s show, a flashback showed Vargas sitting down on the bed next to Nick. He then said something like: "don’t worry Nickey, I’ll protect you…." That’s usually an indication, at least in any prison movies I’ve ever seen, that the person doing the protecting is claiming the one he’s protecting, or, as they like to say in prison movies, claiming him for his "*itch" to use as he sees fit for his own self. At least that’s what I took from it. Now, maybe Nick got fed up with it and refused Vargas’ advances, and that’s when Nick was badly beaten (which I remember Julie and Hope saying he was beaten). If Nick turned Vargas in for beating him, Vargas would consider Nick a "snitch" and that’s why he stabbed him. I remember Vargas saying in another flashback, "this is what happens to snitches’." Vargas told Eric today that he got 7 years, but that he had been in prison for 10. That indicates to me that Vargas got time added on to his original sentence for beating and eventually stabbing to Nick.
so far looks like Maryland (especially my area) dodged a bullet and the predicted heavier snow will be in Western Maryland. Right now we have a mix of rain and snow, but roads are wet but clear. The sad part about this is that they have been forecasting this huge storm all week long, and like most meteorologists cannot correctly predict Maryland’s weather, regardless of their Doppler radar or whatever technology they use, because we are sort of in a valley, with the mountains on one side and the Atlantic on the other, so as sure as they were with this one, so far this storm has not affected us too badly. We’re supposed to finish up with 2 to three inches now here in the City, but I’ll believe it when I see it. It’s a shame, because all the schools in Maryland closed, courts, and most city and county government; grocery shelves were emptied and stores packed across the state, and for what? LOL! Guess I should be thanking God for small miracles, though. Waiting to see what happens when the temps drop later this afternoon.
and my favorite from last night was Amber Holcomb. She sang Whitney Houston’s "I Believe" and I thought she did a fantastic job. She has that type of "Whitney" voice, which many try but do not succeed. IMO she nailed it.
I also liked Angie Miller, and see her going all the way to the finals. I was surprised to learn that the song she did was written by one of my favorites from last year, Colton Dixon. Great song and performance.
Kree Harrison has that great range and strength in her voice. She seems to prefer country, but she’s not too country. I think she can sing just about anything. She reminds me of Adele and even looks like Adele; she definitely has her style of singing.
These three were the best, IMO. Cannot stand Zoanette and hope she doesn’t make it. She’s just horrible and did no justice to Tina Turner whatsoever, and her running around the stage yelling and screaming is something I do not want to have to watch from week to week.
I still like Aubrey, but she picked the wrong song last night. Hope that doesn’t cost her.
for everyone to be "keeping this to themselves," as Nick demanded. They should be shouting it from the rooftops. What’s he going to do, admit he coerced Will into signing? No, but then Will has 4 eyewitnesses to him blackmailing Will into signing, and that stupid notary, who should lose his certification for going along with it. Oh, well, all for the plot — for, for sure, something wicked his way cometh, and I for one can’t wait.
