except for that bun thing she wore a while back. That was awful, IMO. Ali is such a beautiful girl, with hair to match. I like her hair straight or just softly curled around her face. She looks good with it pulled back, or even up on her head — just not in that ugly bun style.

for his age. The same holds true for John Anniston (Victor Kiriakis). The great Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor on Y&R) just passed away earlier this month at the age of 84, and her last scenes on the show were somewhat foreshadowing. Y&R did a beautiful tribute to her life yesterday, and her last scene on the show was brilliant, but you could definitely tell that she could hardly make it up the stairs.

with her revenge. Once this all blows up in her face, I think we’ll see a much darker Kristen again. She may not be a true DiMera by blood, but she’ll definitely be in seek and destroy mode, from John, to Marlena, and probably Nicole, who I would imagine will be quite p.o.’d at her once she finds out what she’s done to Brady. I’m looking forward to some great scenes with the continuation of this saga. And, I agree about her becoming obsessed with getting Brady back, since she finally realized, albeit too late, that she really does love him. Looks like she’s going to need a ‘spoonful of sugar’ before taking this medicine.

Caroline will always love Sami, no matter what she’s done. I did love, however, the way she explained to Sami her bout with Alzheimer’s and how she had no intention on letting it affect her life with her family and would be there with and for them as long as she could. Great writing—great acting.

Caroline and Sami today. No matter what she’s done in her past, her grandma will always love her.

Once again, ED brings her A-game, as she has done since the day Kristen returned to Salem.

I don’t think Nick will take baby Ariana anywhere out of the hospital. I think he just wanted Will to see his baby girl. But, he should have left a note or something to let Gabi or anyone else know where she was.

So, the entire plan was a bust for John as well as Kristen. No one came. But, boy, does anyone believe she will drop her plan for further revenge? I sure don’t.

When you think about it, Kristen’s big mistake here will be when she tries to explain why she told Hope when she and Brady were being questioned and shown the mug shot, that she did not recognize Brady’s mugger. That’s going to be her downfall, IMO.

Are we going to see Nicole caring more about Brady’s hurt than she will her own? Will this bring about a new triangle with Brady/Nicole/Eric, and what will Kristen do to keep Nicole from getting too close to Brady?

I think Marlena will cut bait where John is concerned when she finds out what his plan was, and will Kristen be the one to tell her what really took place in that room? John would so deserve it for the way he went about this whole thing, and for what? John, on the other hand, will probably be content, to some extent, since this will probably mean the end of Brady and Kristen.

Tons of good soap today. Loved every minute of it.

in DAYS of old; I was talking about now. And, I think that’s mostly because of the way they are depicting John’s blatant ignorance of Marlena’s feelings today. I remember several months back reading Drakes tweet saying something like “walking around in my dressing room wondering how I’m supposed to play these scenes.” I think this is exactly what he meant by that remark. I think Drake has been disappointed with this storyline. JMO.

with his father. Jack Devereaux popped in and out of his family’s lives, many times with no reasonable explanation, so I can see JJ being resentful of his mother moving on with another man, but not for the reasons he is giving. He’s never been allowed to have a true father/son relationship. Either he was gone, or his father was. So, for him to be acting out in this way now is simply another plot minus character based storyline, something these writers seem to do when they insist on returning a character last seen as a small child to a storyline, but don’t know how to truly write for him/her. They have just recently made Freddie (Sonny) interesting, so I assume it will take a month or two, possibly by next sweeps, before I see any reason to invest in Jack, Jr.

One thing I will say about JJ’s story is that his ridiculous side-kick (he who has no name) is probably the worst actor I have seen in quite some time.

a little sooner than they did; however, at the same time, it seems to me that both Sami and Lucas, as Wills parents, needed to hear how much Sonny loved Will. By hearing that one-sided conversation from Sonny, it assured them, as parents, just how much he loves Will. Remember, Lucas never thought that Sonny loved Will. There were countless times when he accused Sonny of only wanting sex from Will. It took a while for both Sami and Lucas to accept that their son was gay. Now, they both know just how much Sonny truly loves Will. I’m sort of glad they heard Sonny telling Will how much he loved him. And they interrupted at the right time, when it got a bit romantic rather than a testimony of Sonny’s love. So, I thought they did a great job of displaying and assuring Sonny’s love for their son.

there was definitely a wall between Gabi and Sonny. Now, not only have they managed to get through it, Gabi suddenly admitted to, or at least brought it out, that she knows why Sonny ‘hated’ her, and that no one could hate her more than she hates herself for her part in Melanie’s fate. Now, that’s over for them, and that’s fine. I just needed to have her acknowledge what she did, or at least she was aware that she had a huge part in what happened to Melanie. Now, I can accept all 4 of them working together at some point toward being stable and loving parents to this baby.

Hope’s clothes were covered with Will’s blood; but, not a drop was on Sonny, and he just delivered a baby. LOL!

Can’t wait to watch Will’s expression the first time he sees his baby girl for the first time.

since for me this was probably the BEST sweeps month I have seen on DAYS in a very, very long while. We are in or very near the end of May sweeps, and we haven’t even started on the Bristen collapse, nor have we stepped into the world of the fall of the DiMera empire, if there is to be one, as well as the J&M saga. So, the writing has definitely improved, IMO. I know there are some new umbrella storylines coming up, again involving lots of characters, so I have high hopes DOOL is on the rise and will not disappoint.
