How come Hope got an immediate signal on her phone but Sonny and Will couldn’t?
Gabi’s birth process was definitely way too fast and way too easy. She could stop and converse with Sonny plus she didn’t do hardly any pushing at all. That’s very unusual for any birth, let alone a first one. Gosh, has there ever been a normal hospital delivery on this show that wasn’t wrapped in so much drama?
I was hoping Nick would turn to Vargas and tell him, “Go to hell!” I hope he isn’t going to continue kowtowing to him now that his ‘secret’ is out. What else could Vargas have to hold over his head?
According to what they showed us of Will’s GSW when he was lying on the floor, it would have gone straight through his heart but on the operating table, it was much lower. Where is continuity when you need them?
If Jensen was so intent on killing Nick, why did he leave him tied up and let him rattle on like that? Why didn’t he just shoot him and then go looking for Gabi? Of course we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to watch Nick’s performance.
I found it kind of odd that Nick didn’t go to Gabi as soon as he got to the hospital, or at all. It doesn’t seem right that he’d leave without first looking in on her. I don’t care how traumatized he was, if he loves her like he says, that would have been his first priority.
And I still don’t like Vargas. I don’t see any reformation coming there at all. If Hope does fall for him, I don’t think there will be any kind of reciprocating on his part. He’s just plain scum. I can’t put my finger on it but even when he’s acting nice, I don’t like him.
I think, especially b/c of what we found out about his prison life, that Gabi was more of an obsession-ish type thing. Not quite like Melanie was for him but sort of an "out." Like if I love this woman then all that past will just go away…
I think it’s sort of like men who know they are gay but marry a woman to make it go away. Not saying Nick is gay but being with Gabi might have been a way for him to convince himself he was a MAN. Their relationship was posssessive/obsessive more than it was loving.

Bonbon about the signal, I almost never have a signal on my iPhone and my husband could be sitting right next to me with 4 full bars. Same provider. I don’t know why, but my phone has terrible reception.
with Nick wandering off? Ok, I realize he just went through an extreme episode, but his wife had just given birth! It seems like that was either to demonstrate how traumatized his prison experience was, or perhaps as was suggested, maybe Gabi isn’t priority one.
quite on point, and probably truer than even Nick would want to believe. Vargas kind of foreshadowed that thought with me as well, when he told Nick to put the past behind him now that Jensen was dead, and that it didn’t make him any less of a ‘m…’, (started to say man, then stopped). I think that’s exactly what Nick thinks all of Salem will be thinking of him if or when they find out the truth. Adding to that he is now consumed with guilt over Will being shot. He may be in serious need of professional help to get on with his life. Best to start with telling Gabi the truth before someone else does.
At first, I thought it was weird he didn’t go to Gabi or see the baby, but then I thought he is probably so wracked with guilt over Will, and deeply ashamed of what came out about him and Jensen that he just couldn’t face her yet. His acting throughout this ordeal has really made me feel bad for him, and I hope his character will be redeemed.
