I wanted Caroline to reach across that table and smack that little *itch right off her chair. What a horrid character she’s turning out to be. I’m starting to see more characters I can’t stand on this show than those I can, and certainly more than those I love.
that’s not what makes me dislike them …. as a matter of fact, I DO like them as a couple — just how these writers choose to present them. The silliness, especially at the hospital, yanks my nerves, too. I have been to many a hospital and many a doctor in my years, and must say that NEVER have I EVER seen doctors kissing staff at a nurses station or anywhere else in a hospital, except on TV medical shows, and then they’re usually in a broom closet or a break-room or somewhere like that. But for a doc and his/her honey to stand out in the open view of staff, patients, or anyone else and make out is absurd and certainly doesn’t bode well for what we should consider a prestigious medical professional. Sorry, there’s a time and a place, no what I mean?
I mean it’s bad enough that they are on practically every day now (even more than Sami and E.J., and she has a major storyline), but this yo-yo that Jennifer keeps Daniel on is so unfair to him, especially when she is oblivious to JJ and his schemes. I wanted to smack both Jen and JJ today, and Daniel needs to realize that if he sticks with Jennifer, this is what his life is going to be like as long as JJ is in the picture. He needs to find a new squeeze, but please, God, don’t let it be bitchy Theresa, or Jeannie, or whatever in the hell she wants to call herself. I really need to see a big drug bust and have them cart her and JJ away. I wanted Caroline to smack her right off her chair today!
I was disappointed in Des. I thought she might decide to go home and think about it before making that decision so closely behind what she admitted to everyone regarding how much she was in love with Brooks and would have married him practically on the spot. I felt hurt and embarrassed for both Chris and Drew, but mainly Chris, because if it were me I would always wonder in the back of my mind — did she pick me because she loved me with all of her heart, or was it because she couldn’t have Brooks and I was next in line. Too bad. I did not like this year’s show at all. I can’t help thinking that because of what happened to her last year with Shawn sending her home, that maybe she just did not want to be rejected again. I hope they can survive, but I have my doubts.
or ISA like her dad and sent to Salem to bust a drug ring would have been so much better a storyline. Instead we get another snarky, bitchy druggie using a kid to get what she wants. I hope she gets busted along with the whole drug ring. Her and JJ both need a life’s lesson, and why is this show creating so many unlikable characters of late? Between JJ and Theresa and Ann, I wouldn’t know which one I would want to see off this show first, and I wouldn’t care how they did it, as long as they were gone.
so if the writers are expecting me to feel sympathy for her, they went about it the wrong way. I’m sort of hoping she knew Bernardi was a dirty cop and either simply looked the other way, or even encouraged it. At least that would allow me to cheer on Sami if or when she kicks her butt when she gets out of this mess. Actually, though, Bernardi must have had some sort of problem, like maybe gambling or something like that, to get hooked up with Stefano in the first place, and I’m sure he was being paid very well. Maybe they’ll find a stash of money in his house or something along those lines. Hopefully something like this will come out and finally shut this woman (Marge) up. This is a life ‘her Joe’ chose, and her and Hope and Abe and Roman and all of the cops in the SPD constantly babbling on and on about him being this decorated hero has about reached it’s end for me.
not before the end of the year, maybe around Christmas. I just hope they don’t bring him back simply to have both DH’s ride off into the sunset.
the only thing the writers are doing is turning the fans of this terrific show off with this couple. I can count on one hand the people on message boards who are rooting for them. I feel sorry for them, but their on-again/off-again romance is dead in the water so long as JJ, and now Theresa and that obnoxious Ann continue to give them grief. I’m over them, and wish these writers would just break them up and have them both move on. I see no light at the end of this dark tunnel.
Christmas miracle story this year. No signs of Drake taping shows as of yet, so that means he will not be seen between now and November; however, I’m guessing they may bring him back to begin taping the Christmas holiday shows sometime this month (since we know the show is 4 months ahead in taping). That’s why I’m guessing if Drake is returning, that’s what he’ll be returning to. Kristen will be gone by then, and John will return to try and make things right with Doc and, at the same time, have his “we told you so” moment with Brady. Just my speculation — no spoilers indicating this.
Casey Deidrick or Camila Banus that I’m not seeing in their acting, but to me they are both dull as dirt. Kate Mansi has shown that she can act (loved her when she was stalking Austin and doing everything in her power to break up his marriage to Carrie), but lately her story as well as her acting has put her in the one trick pony category for me. Camila is also rumored to be leaving at the end of her contract, and so unless they are re-cast, Will, Chad and Gabi will all be gone next year. I’m more interested in seeing what will become of Ariana Grace and Sonny than I am with Gabi or Chad. Unless they recast Will Horton, I don’t see a future for the Sonny Kiriakis character.
checking with some of your other new neighbors to determine without seeming like you’re complaining but more like inquiring about this guy. Maybe you’re not the only one who feels this way. He may, in fact, just be one of those nosey neighbors who, if he’s been there a long time, feels he has the right to know everyone else’s business. Sometimes you just have to say, ‘I’m sorry, but I just do not have the time to chat right now’ or something like, “Mr. (insert name), is there something I can help you with right now; otherwise, I really do have quite a bit to do, since I’m still settling in. Maybe we could talk some other time.” It might be better than trying to ‘duck’ him every time you walk to or from your house. If other neighbors are having the same problem with him as you seem to be, then at least you know it’s not just you who feels this way.
nor am I determining that you are a certain “type” of person, because I’m sure that that’s what you’re trying to do with my post. I’m just saying that knowing Nicole Walker the way that we all know Nicole Walker, it’s just not something that I believe this particular character would be interested in, nor would I believe that the other characters who will be engaging in this enlightening moment discussing some literary gem they’ve all supposedly read, would even associate with Nicole on any level whatsoever, let alone an intellectual one. So, please keep your shirt on, Bon Bon, I wasn’t knocking book clubs per se.
does she appear to you to be the type who would join a book club? Anyone who has ever known the real Nicole Walker would have to think twice about that. I realize they’re trying to make her into this reformed do-gooder church lady, but get real. This is so NOT Nicole to me.
AFAIC! Loved the red dress made from the sombreros; it was definitely best in show for me. Hope this whole season isn’t made up of ridiculous materials. I’m waiting to see them work with what would truly be appropriate for a fashion runway. Sandro (sp?) is a lunatic, and I was happy to see the gal he was partnered with (forget her name) not take any crap off of him. Some real talent there this season, but still waiting for the real deal fabrics to appear.
