It takes time for a character to change that drastically. CD’s Chad was nothing like NuChad. The old Chad would never have taken that attitude with his friends, let alone his partner. I don’t even care that he dislikes Ben, but I really wanted Ben to follow his heart on this one and put Chad on the damn floor, where he belongs. What a mess he is. Billy Flynn has not proved his self in this role as a “soap” actor to me yet. I say yet, because I’m sure he’s still growing and will eventually learn the ropes, but for now I just cannot even begin to warm up to the new Chad DiMera. Right now he’s nothing more than a joke, trying to impress Stefano and E.J. enough to take him seriously. I know these writers want to keep the DiMeras at the top of the villain chain, but seriously writers, don’t you think Salem has enough of these already? Now Clyde and Jeramiah …. well, those two are scary villains if you ask me.
she will find the pics on Eve’s phone, since it seems JJ has now convinced Paige that he’s telling the truth. Since they have no way of finding that girl, Jill, JJ is using the Salem brain and has realized (and has made Paige realize) that someone else has those pics on their phone as well.
like I commented before, he looks sort of goofy to me, and certainly not the big bad DiMera he’s presenting himself to be. And what’s with the Kate bonding; she calls his dead mother a whore, and IIRC Chad did love Madeline….a lot. Please don’t tell me he’s going to get something going with Kate Roberts and she’s going to let him into her parlor because she will need his help containing Stefano and E.J. Going for your own private DiMera smorgasbord, Kate…as in ‘and baby makes three’? Talk about the “ick” factor. So, nope, I’m NOT liking this new dark Chad DiMera at all. Laugh if you will, but when I look at him, all I think of is a grown-up Alfalfa!
can’t squeeze out a tear no matter how hard she tries. So can we assume Aiden’s wife was not so nice? When Chase asked Aiden if his date was like mommy, Aiden’s “no…she’s not” was somewhat foretelling to me. Damn you, Peter Reckell, you could have returned long enough for Bo to have been killed off, just like any normal soap hero does.
and if she’s smart, she’ll adjust her attitude from here on. No one likes to be the first to go home, but Lolo’s was bad right from the start. I felt more sorrow for her partner than I did for her.
between the Orioles clinching our division last night, and the Ravens huge improvement last week in stomping on Pittsburgh, I feel like the City of Baltimore is beginning to see through the recent dark clouds and realize there are stars still shining out there for us. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS YEAR IN SPORTS FOR BALTIMORE!!! Now just hope we can keep it going!
the slang term for the ‘date rape drug. Supposedly, it can affect you exactly as JJ appeared; wide awake one minute, and out cold shortly thereafter, with no memory intact. That is why it is such a horrible drug, and whether it’s used on a guy or on a girl, the purpose is usually to take sexual advantage of them. Hell, JJ was so far out of it, one would think she gave him propofol (one of the drugs found in Michael Jackson’s system when he died). But yes, PLEASE is right, but I’m sure Dr. Dan will figure it all out. I just hope Mary Beth decides to tell someone that Eve was behind the whole thing.

E.J.’s mother returns with ED playing the dual role. Just how long she’ll be here and what her s/l involves, I don’t know yet; but, I’m sure we will see her and E.J. coming together at some point. Susan never liked Sami as I recall, so perhaps she will have some major part in the AS/JS exit storyline.
and Mary Beth is a first-class witch, who is now hooking up with Eve to take JJ down and out of Paige’s life. I hope this all comes back to bite them both in their assets. Eve is such a disgustingly horrible mother, and all for what — to take revenge on Jennifer? If these writers don’t stop with these female villains at some point and start giving the actors portraying them a reason for fans to root for them, I think it’s time to let some of DOOL’s “overblown” cast go. Now we have Melanie returning next month. What’s her story going to be? Getting a little sick of the triangles and quadrangles, which is all we seem to be getting now, maybe with the exception of Will & Sonny or Hope and Aiden. They need to give this crap a break and get back to the “old days of DAYS.”
Doesn’t she realize that Daniel’s reasoning for keeping his distance from her is that Jen doesn’t trust him to make the right decisions in his life, and that she runs her mouth before she knows any facts about what Dan’s decisions even are before ranting on them and then turning on him? Honestly, I wish Daniel would just realize that this just possibly would be his life with Jennifer whenever she doesn’t agree with what he does or decides to do. Like Victor once said to Sonny, “do you love him or do you want to adopt him?”
