Participantlooks like we saved just enough; O’s down 6-3 going into 8th inning today, and then the MAGIC happened…again… O’s win 8-7. I’m so happy to watch our guys enjoy this season, and our fans are over the moon. Hard to lose in that deafening “sea of orange” these past two days. Now a well deserved day of rest before taking on Detroit on their home field, where the O’s could possibly take this ALDS right to the next phase …. the ALCS. What a rush!!!
Patti
Participantand the O’s not only get to Detroit’s best pitcher, Max Scherzer, but our bats were mighty and we crushed Detroit 12-3. Need to catch my breath, find my voice, and just hope we can continue this ride all the way to the end!!! WOW, WHAT A NIGHT!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O’S!
Patti
ParticipantI’m just looking ahead to what couples the fans will have to look forward to:
Dan and Jennifer –
Kate and Clyde –
Kate and Rafe (gag);
Chad and Abbey and Ben – no thanks
Jordan and Chad and Rafe –Maybe the above are fine for you, but you’re right; there’s just no one who can come close to Sami/EJ, so I’m going to enjoy them while I can.

ParticipantOrioles/Detroit begin today. I know each and every team in these playoffs deserves to be here, so it’s going to be exciting to watch, especially since it’s been so long since the Orioles have been here. BUT, we earned that right this season too, so I’m so excited for our team.
GO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO’S!!!

Participantreplace any one of these three. I’m sure others on this board disagree and have their favorites as well, and, of course, that’s their prerogative. I just cannot foresee good stories for anyone once AS, JS and ED leave; maybe we just need new writers.
Patti
ParticipantAbbey and Ben could both be gone and I would be a happy fan; Kristen and Susan cracked me up, but honestly I don’t know how these actors can work with ED as Susan and not fall down laughing…that’s how good she is at portraying her. Good show but mixed emotions knowing we’re drawing very near the end of three fabulous DOOL stars.

ParticipantI was trying to place a face with the style, and all I could come up with was the mother in Psycho, as disguised by the son, Norman Bates. LOL!
Wow, I am totally impressed with DWTS Betsy Johnson; for 72 years old, that woman is limber and quite elegant, IMO!
Patti
ParticipantI don’t care how great an actress ED is, those scenes for JS were deplorable. Poor EJ; I felt bad that he even had to call her ‘motha.’

Participantbut in all fairness, Panthers looked pretty bad …. but WE LOOKED GREAT, and that’s all I can say about that. Bet they (Panthers) are totally sorry they cut Smith, Sr. He’s one of the oldest guys on the team, yet one of the most agile, swift, great hands and legs, and can be seen all over the field at times. Love having him. Work cut out for us next week with the Colts, though!!!
Yes, I saw some of the Bills game on another network; still early, so maybe when they watch the tapes they’ll have an opportunity to correct some mistakes when getting ready next week.
Right now I’m gearing up to watch the start of post-season baseball and keeping my fingers crossed for the O’s. We don’t have much luck with Detroit, though…so, we’ll see how that goes.

Participantbelow the belt — ??? – my comment was supposed to be funny and was meant as a joke. Guess not, but you have a nice day too!
Patti
Participantwhich will be October 9th or 10th; AS and kids will depart shortly after Halloween. It is still my belief that sometime during that 2-3 (maybe 4) week separation we will know if E.J. is murdered or if his death will be faked. I’m guessing and hoping for the latter.
Patti
ParticipantI’ll agree with you on one thing…. I think you got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, too.
Patti
Participantalthough baseball has had its fair share of bad boys in the game with the PED scandals, and now football seemingly having the worst of late with all of these acts of violence against women, etc., there are two baseball players who have managed to remain squeaky clean throughout their entire careers, staying with one team start to finish, i.e., Derek Jeter with the Yankees and Cal Ripken, Jr. with the Orioles. KUDOS to these two exemplary sportsmen.
Patti
Participanthe’s dealing with, and soon. I would hate to see him have anything with the death of E.J., faked or not. I think it will be Chad, but will he be in on it or not. Is he seriously going to turn on his brother after once saving his life; and does he really despise Stefano, or are they playing Kate? He’s playing it well so far, cause I seriously can’t figure out what the heck he’s doing yet. And, does he really give a red rat’s a$$ about Abigail Devereaux? Personally, I would be just fine he steals Abigail from Ken-doll, sweeps her off her feet, they (Chad and the sweetheart princess who can do no wrong in Salem) ride off into the sunset together, resulting in Ben falling apart, turning gay, and stealing Sonny away from Will. Yes, I could live with that.
Patti
Participantguess I can hang in there for a few more weeks, but his conniving and playing the candles at both ends is beginning to bore me. I need to see him knocked down a peg or twenty.
And can we please stop with the Abigail Devereaux show??? God, that girl disgusts me so so much. I seriously wish she would leave.
Whoops, meant to post this under casey’s post.
