Participantto feel sorry for her, but she made this coffin…now she has to lay in it. Jen Lilly is playing the role well, but I would not miss her if she was gone. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how the writers play it when Kristen returns in March.

Participantbut he did sound very threatening when he told Bree, "and you know what I’m capable of." I’m hoping these writers lean toward Aiden perhaps knowing Meredith is alive, but used his skills as a lawyer to have her committed, or something along those lines. I have no desire to see a return of a Peter Reckell and more angst for Hope and Aiden. Bo needs to just sign the divorce papers and move on for good. Maybe he already did that, off-screen, of course, because Hope did say that the divorce will be final in a few months. One can only hope so.

Participantthat woman (Zoe?) told her boss right there in their meeting that Will was married and referred to his "husband", so I think this is definitely a set-up by this magazine to expose Paul’s sexual orientation, which Will knows nothing about, and that will lead to Will "outing" Paul. Pretty dirty, but this is not new to Zoe, who used him to out Abigail in his story about E.J. and Sami when she allowed Sami to edit the article without Will’s permission, so once again I detect a plot point leading to Sonny and Will’s marriage blowing up over this. Question is, who will be the one to "cheat" with Paul …. Sonny or Will?

Participantso I’m betting she’s got some sort of skeleton hidden in her closet. Where did she come from and why, and what’s her and Melanie’s connection? I hope she doesn’t turn out to simply be another villainous character. Lord knows, we have enough of those women on board already.

Participantand when they do a close-up on her, she’s breathtaking; absolutely flawless!!

Participantother than the actress portraying her, that I love Serena already. The way she handled Ann Milbauer today just made me stand and applaud this woman. She mentioned when she first appeared that she didn’t scare easily, and she proved that to me today. Of course, anyone who succeeds in putting Ann and Theresa in their places always makes me smile. Jennifer was right….having her and Mel, as well as Jen and Abbey, all working at the hospital is going to be a lot of fun for me. Talk about the taming of the shrews!!! I love it!!!

Participantand a very special congratulations to your Bills for that spectacular win against Aaron Rogers and the Packers. Right now I’m excited for our Ravens as well, since we have the best schedule looking at the last two games of the regular season. Then, I have to come back down to earth and realize it’s "any given Sunday," but for now I’m extremely happy. Our defense was outstanding as well yesterday. No one thought for a minute that the Ravens would get that kind of game from the Jags. They are up and coming when it comes to a young and promising team for the future. I’m just glad we showed how strong our defense was yesterday, sacking Blake Bortels eight times, and our special teams looked great, even though injuries aren’t helping us any right now. All I can say is that no one better count out the Bills or the Ravens this season, that’s for sure, so continued good luck to us both. I LOVE DECEMBER FOOTBALL!!!

Participantyou really have been through the mill, and I can certainly attest to the fact that, as we get older, it’s much harder to heal and deal with the road to recovery. I know I can speak from my own experiences, but your medical problems have been enormous for the past several years, or at least what we know of them since we have been associated with this board. From my heart, I wish you well with your healing process, and want you to know that you will be included in my Christmas prayers for a full recovery, and that 2015 will be a miracle year for you.

Participantthat this board is nowhere near as critical toward the cast (be it a character or the actual actor portraying him/her) as they are on other message boards; however, that being said, I will say that the way your post reads is music to my ears. All 4 soaps are doing poorly when compared to the "good old days", and clearly soap operas themselves are in jeopardy; although I truly believe it’s the writing more than anything else.

ParticipantI pretty much enjoyed the Wednesday show. I really like Serena, but I’m not sure if it’s because of her story with Eric as it is because of how much a really love Melissa Archer. Her role as Natalie Buchanan on One Life to Live was terrific and so far I’m liking her as a past lover of Eric’s, because it relates to more of his backstory explaining his work in the Congo, the death of the priest who was somewhat of a mentor to him, which I’m guessing is when and where his true calling originated, and a bit more info on how his life was affected by it. So far I’m enjoying Serena, but I’m wondering how and why her and Melanie are such good friends, and how does she know Marlena? If she only met her once, and that was a long time ago, I’m guessing it wasn’t as Eric’s mother. Lots to unfold, I’m sure, but so far I like the pairing. It was also a pleasure to watch a civil, ‘friendly’ conversation between Jen and Daniel. Looks like her trip to visit Laura did her a world of good. And what can I say about Melanie taking on Theresa? Loved every minute of it. Then again, I despise Theresa as well as Anne, so any time this pair gets a little comeuppance thrown in their face, that’s fine with me. Ben and Abigail are turning into a one-trick pony (or do I mean porn) show, and Jordan is still boring as all hell. Rafe needs to find a way to help Nicole and get back together with her. I really enjoyed their ‘whatever’ it was you call what they had.

Participantbetween questioning the refereeing and how they dole out the penalties, the rule changes regarding what players can and cannot do, how they hit a defenseless receiver, where and how they’re hit, i.e., helmut to helmut, and everything inbetween that constitutes contributing to a loss, sometimes it’s just not fun to watch a game, especially if your team’s in contention for a playoff spot. LOL!
Patti
Participantshe was definitely a thief when she first came on the show, when she was still in Europe before coming to Salem. Also, didn’t she steal Nick’s invention and used her photographic memory to copy it? No wonder she’s good at counting cards! LOL!

Participantawesome win yesterday beating the Miami Dolphins 28-13, keeping us still in the hunt. Casey, that was a tough loss the Bills took yesterday at the hands of the Broncos, but they’re a tough team to beat by most standards. Wishing the best for both our teams, and still keeping the faith for making the playoffs, when everything starts all over again.

Participanthe’s not giving me that impression. From what I gather, he’s a gay man who’s still in love with Sonny and using women as a beard to hide his sexual orientation. Can you seriously not see that?
Patti
ParticipantSince Paul is Gay and Sonny’s former lover, I have no reason to believe that we will see him in bed with a woman. I do agree about the board, though. I definitely see a much slower pace with the posts, and most of the time they are negative. For me it’s because the show is that bad right now, more than half the cast are "newbies", the vets are being ignored, horrible sweeps, and the storylines are filled with repetitive dialogue, not to mention they stink. Wonderful time to start the new year with new writers.
