The ‘kitty car’, the ‘KY Derby winner’ and the ‘ruined Picasso painting’ were ALL three JOKES!! Last night was the only night that I watched the full show, and he even thanked NBC for everything they had done for him. Conan is not exactly my cup of tea, but he is far from being an ingrate.
Jay Leno had stated years ago that he was not going to take on The Tonight Show for any length of time, and that he would retire in 5 years. That is the reason NBC told Conan that he would ‘inherit’ it after Leno retired. They basically had told Letterman that the show was his after Carson (who will always be the best) retired. NBC put the screws to Letterman and now to Conan. Leno ‘retired’. It was not his place nor his right to come out of ‘retirement’ and demand his show back. He put a LOT of people out of work by doing this, and I sure hope he is happy with himself. NBC in itself has lost me as a viewer. I keep up with Days through these boards and other spoilers. I think NBC will be defunct in a couple years. I just hope someone picks up Days and restores it to the glory it once was and can be again…..IF they can find a network that cares enough to make it great!
What about Viv burying the ‘daughter’ alive and therefor driving Carly insane? Vivian has a black heart. Put nothing past her.
I so totally agree with you ‘majenco’. While I in no way condone what Bo and Carly have done, Hope really has to lay the blame at her own two feet. Carly was spot on with her comment about the ‘moral high ground’ and there have been a lot of people talk about this very thing on this board before and apparently have forgotten in their anger towards Bo. Bo literally begged Hope to come home and she ignored his pleas. I say she either stakes her ‘claim’ or let Bo go. I will take him, in a heartbeat!!!
Bo has BEGGED Hope numerous times to come home…..yet she refuses. I say she is just as much to blame as Bo is. She treats him like yesterdays trash…how do you expect him to feel? I LOVE Carly’s statement to Hope about her ‘liking the moral high road’! Classic!! And spot on! Even though I LOVE Bo & Hope, and always will root for them to be together, Hope needs to come down from her high-horse…once again….as usual.
I hear you Bonbon…..my wonderful hubby makes fun of me at times, but I cry at some of them, too!! It just shows we have a heart, is what I say!!!
For me, HOPE has been having an affair for weeks, albeit an emotional affair, with Justin. As far as Bo goes, yep, he’s wrong. No justification. That being said, I would NEVER leave ‘the love of my life’ over some such silliness as Hope did, and when some other woman moved up into my house, I would have been moving on back in when my husband literally BEGGED me to! Hope isn’t a saint in any of this either! The couple has been totally ruined, which was the point anyway. If I were these actors and actresses, I would refuse to do these scenes. This show has gone where Mickey has gone! The death knell should sound for good now!
They have ruined this couple!!! They have ruined this show!!! The Bo and Hope that I remember and love would NEVER have done this to one another! And yet they do..time and again. And Sami has more of a brain than to trust the evil EJ, and yet she does. And the writer’s don’t care. They are trying to cancel this show and turn all of us against it. I am against the writer’s now, NOT the show! I have not watched since they ruined John and Marlena and just keep up to date with spoilers. I swore I would never watch another episode and will probably stick with that unless they bring them back and stop this foolishness with the writing.
We had the best one when we had ‘Doc’. I still think they should bring them back. I have not watched since they left, and have sworn I won’t. I do keep up through the spoilers pages and such, but I just hate the way they let J & M go and how they have trashed Bo and Hope. (My favorites of all)
It wasn’t a far stretch to add it up on this one. EJ doesn’t have the ’emotions’ that he was trying to portray. He was way too angry with Sami to NOT be the one who had Sidney kidnapped. And he will more than likely end up with Sidney and Sami in the long run, because he will keep Sidney until Sami agrees to marry him, yadda, yadda, yadda.
