Having worked in Corrections for 25 years, I can tell you that some addicts will crush whatever pill they are hooked on and snort it to get the ‘high’ quicker than they would by swallowing. So unless they said specifically that it is cocaine, she may just have gone to the next step of crushing the pills.
Oh, I so totally agree with this. Come on, dig a little deeper or just steal the ideas from this board!!!
Thanks so very much for the prayers, they mean SO much! The city of Council Bluffs, Iowa is saying that they believe the levees will hold. I think they are just trying to keep people calm. I see our levee rising more each day and it’s almost to the top. Something has to give. We are moving all our belongings out Monday and Tuesday to a friends house so at least we won’t lose our furniture and all that. IF we don’t flood, so be it, but if we do at least we won’t have to replace everything! We’ll ‘camp out’ here on a mattress and bare necessities (just Hubby and Me) and it will be FUN!! It will be like when we first started out with nothing!! That is when you find out that as long as you wake up next to one another, you truly DO have everything!!
I am so sorry. I’m an Army veteran and it just hurts my heart each and every time I hear we lost another one. God be with all touched by his death.
I will start watching again when John and Marlena are back…but only until the gay storyline starts, then it’s bye-bye for me again.
Thanks ALL of you. I know my ‘kprstrs’ is a little strange, but it stands for "Keeper of The Stars" which is the Tracy Byrd song. I walked down the aisle to that song quite a few years back when I married Hubby. I am a Christian who believes that I am in this place as part of God’s plan. I don’t know what that plan is, but when I see Him, I will ask Him what in the world he was thinking!!
WOW…I guess I will start watching again for a bit. I don’t know that I will be able to stomach the gay story line though!!!
