Sadly I have had the same feelings. I have been watching since 1966. But now Days has become a ridiculous cartoon that I mostly have no interest in. I love Ben and Ciara and Shawn and Belle, Marlena and John, Steve and Kayla, even Chad and Abby but these writers have virtually destroyed all of them. I always feel sorry for the actors when they talk about the Devil as if this is a real person. Regardless, I too read the synopsis first and then have the pleasure of ff’ding through the parts and characters I despise. There are so many these days so the show lasts about 20 minutes. I truly wish they would get rid of this writing team and find someone else. But Ken Corday must enjoy the storylines and probably thinks this junk will bring in new viewers. I don’t agree when I read comments from my Facebook groups. Everyone hates it. Well maybe good times are coming this summer when the Devil story is over. And of course I cannot wait for the new Beyond Salem in July.

I have been watching this show over 45 years and I just think lately it has veered way off in the wrong direction. The show is completely negative, it is not me. I am happy it is still on after all these years and especially since so many soaps have been cancelled completely. I guess either we all must accept the extreme negativity or just stop viewing for good.

No I did not notice them. However I always notice her hideous hairstyle(probably a wig) and her equally hideous clothing choices. Talk about sterotypes! She is an obnoxious, loud mouthed character and I truly wish the character was gone.

I watched it yesterday. It was terrible and I did not like the way they mixed up the couples, especially with Nick, who is long dead, and Gabi. Did not like seeing Eileen Davidson with John either. They could have made a Christmas story using the regular cast members now I am sure. It seemed very exploitative to me (the guys’ dance number.)

I agree but she hasn’t left yet. Yesterday’s episode with Ben almost injecting Ciara was so heartbreaking. Her words to him were horrible. She can see the wedding photo and knows they were married and stabbed him right in the heart. So very sad for us Cinners who have followed their remarkable love story for nearly 3 years in all its glory. I still hope that by July they can be reunited.

I adore Victoria Konefal. She has the perfect combination of feistiness, great beauty, great emotional acting and the best chemistry with Robert Scott Wilson of all. But the young actors want to sow their oats so she and her team have decided to allow her to seek out new venues for her talents. She is interested in music, dancing, all kinds of artistic endeavors. I do understand her dreams but this coupling has been a dream come true for us fans of CIN. So I along with many thousands of other fans, wish they would recast the part so we can get some happiness and good events for this duo. She knows she has a good thing with Days and she is reluctant to give it up completely. So we shall see.
