I read Prevuze for Monday and it appears several people are on cell phones talking about getting something done.

Phillip gets a call. Melanie asks, "Is it good or bad news?"

"Both," says Phillip, "The bad news is I have one more thing I have to do. The good news is once I do it my problems are over and I’m all yours.

Chloe wakes up and finds Daniel gone.

Daniel strolls by the pier. He takes out his phone and punches a few keys, "I knew it!"

Phillip is outside talking on his phone, "Is it yes or no? Can you? If you could pull this off it would mean the world to me."

Sister Anne instructs Carly, "Just click here and you can see the results. She leaves and Carly goes up to the computer.

    Carly clicks, "All right… done!"

Daniel stares at his phone, "Done."

Phillip answers his phone, "Thank you. I owe you big time, man."

    Melanie clicks, "OK. It’s done."

Chloe closes the computer and stares.

Now the big question, who’s the one who changed the results.

I should have read a little deeper into Days Cafe.  The shooting doesn’t happen during the "almost wedding", Rafe barges in before they’re pronounced man and wife.   The shooting happens later.

I’ve said before that Sami is bipolar.  I know a few people that are bipolar with personality disorder and they have a heightened libido.  One even became a "working girl" because she found she could make money doing something she loved.  Of course neither the ones I know that are bipolar or suffer from personality disorders aren’t on medications either.

I’m thinking with the truth out about EJ he has no reason to keep quiet about Nicole AND it was her tape then CD that came out with the truth.  After saying that if he does come forward about Nicole framing Ari then in the real world he could be brought up on charges of interferring with an investigation or holding information since Ari was falsely accused and he knew it for a fact.

Father Matt refused to marry Chloe and Daniel because of secrets she’s keeping from Daniel.  That’s the same reason another priest refused to Marry Belle and Shawn, because she was keeping her affair with Phillip a secret.   Won’t these women ever learn if you ever plan on getting married don’t go to confession.

At this point I feel sorry for Nicole.

Her father put her into porn and pretty much pimped her out.

Brady had rough sex with her one last time allowing her to think he was in love with her

Rafe using her to get something he wanted from her.

I know technically she was a willing partner with Brady and Rafe but what they did was the equlavent of rape since they used her to get what they wanted and gave no thought to how it would affect her.   I’m wondering now what all that abuse is ging to do to Nicole and how much lower she’ll sink not to let it happen again.  All she really wants is someone to love her and care for her the way her father never did.  Which I feel is why she does the things she’s done. It’s her survival instinct kicking in, where she refuses to let someone use and abuse her like her father did.   That girls going t be needing Marlena for sure with all the issues that could come from this.

I’m agreeing with you on this one.  I can see the old Sami who thinks like Stefano in the revenge department coming back.  This could get VERY GOOD

I’m not saying this is how it’s going to turn out but I can see it coming to that, especially with specialists.  Maybe you’ll see the specialist the initial visit then all follow-ups will be with the NP.

Look at how it is now with OB’s.  A lot of the visits are the nurse who weighs you and takes your vitals.  You don’t see the doc with every visit.  At least that’s how a lot of them were in Chicago.

In Alabama my husband was referred to a dermatologist for psoraisis.  It took 5 months to get an appointment.  Turns out there’s only 1 practice in this area with about 5 docs in the office but still a long time to get an appointment.  If they had NP’s you’d probably be able to get in a lot sooner.

I do think the cost of a visit will go down if it turns out that way since the insurance or by that time the government won’t pay the same care for an NP as they do for a doctor.  But remember this is just my speculation and opinions.  With the government there’s no predicting what they’re going to do in any situation.

Sydney was conceived during a one time fling in an elevator before they got married.  EJ even told her once that he wouldn’t have married her if she wasn’t carrying his child.  I think that was the main thing that led her to fake the pregnancy.  If she didn’t have the baby EJ would kick her to the curb.

I guess we tend (and I’m guilty of this a lot) to try to put real life standards and legalities into Salem and it doesn’t work.

When I moved to Alabama I saw more nurse practitioners with offices than I ever did in Chicago.  Some are independent offices and some are in with doctors.  I see healthcare getting to the point where you have several nurse practitioners working for 1 doctor.  You go in and see the NP for routine checks and common colds.  They can prescribe meds and order tests so that would be no problem. If it’s something more complex then you’ll see the actual MD but that’s going to be rare.  More patients being able to be seen in a docs office and the doc doesn’t have to work as hard.  That may also be a way the government can save money since it shouldn’t cost as much seeing an NP as an MD.

I lived and worked in Chicago and we had a hospital insurance policy and had to get referrals for any specialist.  I saw a bone doc for knee pain and had the referral.  He wanted to give me a cortisone injection but couldn’t until I got another referral that said I could have one.

We later went to a PPO and we didn’t need referrals.  I moved to southeast Alabama in 2003 and was shocked at the healthcare down here.  I have to get a referral for everything no matter what insurance I have and even when I was paying out of my own pocket.  It’s the docs who won’t see anyone without being referred by someone else.  When I moved to a town 20 miles south of where I lived and my doc moved 30 miles north of there I switched doctors but had a hard time fining one to take me.  I have rheumatoid arthritis and get migraines.  A lot of docs won’t prescribe any pain meds.  I also have asthma,  hypertension, an underactive thyroid and diabetes.  Some said I was too complex for them. Then there were several practices that the docs didn’t admit or see patients at the hospital and I refuse to be in a hospital and not be treated by my attending.  I miss Chicago where I knew the docs by their first name and could call any of them and get an appointment on my own.
