There goes Rafe’s reputation as a good guy. What a horrible thing to be doing to Nicole. Yes, she’s done some bad things but I don’t that that gives him the right to humiliate her and take advantage of her like that. I wonder how he’d feel if someone did that to Arianna. He’d probably go after them with a pitchfork.
At this point I feel sorry for Nicole.
Her father put her into porn and pretty much pimped her out.
Brady had rough sex with her one last time allowing her to think he was in love with her
Rafe using her to get something he wanted from her.
I know technically she was a willing partner with Brady and Rafe but what they did was the equlavent of rape since they used her to get what they wanted and gave no thought to how it would affect her. I’m wondering now what all that abuse is ging to do to Nicole and how much lower she’ll sink not to let it happen again. All she really wants is someone to love her and care for her the way her father never did. Which I feel is why she does the things she’s done. It’s her survival instinct kicking in, where she refuses to let someone use and abuse her like her father did. That girls going t be needing Marlena for sure with all the issues that could come from this.
I find Rafe’s totally unacceptable/unprofessional and I would even say grounds for investigation in his role of FBI agent. He’s doing this afterall to get information out of her and I can’t believe even Days would resort to writing him this shameful way.
Watching Rafe and Nicole today was just gross. Knowing what’s going on just makes it unwatchable. I don’t understand why the writers are doing this to Rafe’s character. Why do they have to tarnish everyone? I know he loves Sami and wants to uncover the truth, but this is not something I think he would do. I kept waiting for Nicole to get what was going on and throw him out, but it never happened and after seeing the preview for tomorrow’s show, I’m just sick.
they were playing each other. I even believed the guy who came up to Nicole in the bar calling her by her porn name might have been hired by Rafe, which would have been bad enough. They sort of teased each other and I think Nicole was suspicious and wasn’t going to go for it. But then, the drunker Rafe got her, the more she let her guard down and you could see her vulnerability beginning to show. She put on a good impression, but like Victor told Rafe, she’s just a hurt little girl inside and her desperate need for love and affection gave in to her tough exterior as she began to believe that Rafe was sincere. He played her like a fiddle, and that took him down a peg or two in my book as well. And for what …. Sami Brady????? He was a real cad today, IMO, and I love Rafe; but what he did to Nicole today, although she was enjoying it at the time, was not only despicable, but unnecessary. The way Nikki loves her booze, he could have just kept the drinks coming until she passed out and just took the damn CD and left. I will be first to admit, I do not like Nicole, but I actually felt sorry for her today.
I am thoroughly enjoying this whole scenario! Maybe it’s just the idea of seeing Rafe with someone other than Sami (even though it’s not genuine) or maybe the fact that he is so damn sexy… but I am loving it! Yes, there are other ways he could’ve gone about getting the CD but it’s not like he’s forcing anything on Nicole. She is obviously enjoying the attention!
there is so much criticism of Rafe for playing Nicole. He didn’t have sex with her, so what’s the big deal? He just used a page out of her own playbook in my opinion. Compared to the horrendous stunts that she’s pulled to hurt others, this is nothing. I realize that her awful childhood was not her fault; but she’s an adult now and knows the difference between right and wrong, so I’m applauding Rafe!
I wouldn’t go that far….but it was a suduction. Rafe was using the same MO Nicole would use to get what she wanted…she even played it up in front of sami. Actually, I hope after all is done,it’s too late when Rafe breaks the news about the sydnapping, that Sami IS married to EJ! And after a while they all find out that the DNA belonged to Nicole not Sami and Sydney belongs to Nicole and Dr. Baker had a hand in the whole thing. THEN….Rafe feels really bad about the way he’s treated Nicole and he starts to see her as a different person and they get together and Sami is stuck with EJ!
they didn’t go through with it. But you really can’t justify Rafe’s actions with what Nicole has done because she’s never been a Miss Goody-Goody where he’s always been portrayed the nice guy. But no nice guy would use and humiliate someone like that so he has fallen off the pedistal I had him on.
I’d love to see that happen. Boy, wouldn’t THAT surprise everybody.
I was kind of wondering, watching Rafe’s facial expressions today, if it would be possible that he might fall for Nicole. It’s hard to tell with him but he sure looked to me like he was softening toward her. Anyone else think so?
I think Rafe actually might end up falling for Nicole. He might be the one to finally straighten her out. He’s not oblivious to her faults like Brady was so I think he’d be really good for her. I could totally see the two of them getting together. Wouldn’t that just piss Sami off! I’d really enjoy seeing her realize that she not only lost Rafe but lost him to Nicole. I’ve never liked the character of Sami and would love to see this play out.
Nicole is as bad as Sami is for Rafe! Nooooooooooooooooooo! No! NO! No! No! No way, no how! My goodness writer’s is there not another actress you can bring on the planet (let alone a character in Salem) that wouldn’t break Rafe’s heart eventually???!!!??? The very thought of Rafe with Nicole makes me want to hurl…I thought I couldn’t stand Sami with this very nice guy and you want to pair him with Nicole??? I can’t say it enough…NO!!!
at all. I see it as a character who has been portrayed as a good guy seeing something evil being done and trying to right it. For me, it was him having to approach the problem from a direction that he would not normally use, but needing to use. I can’t deny that part of my feeling this way is because it was Nicole and she’s done some very dirty rotten things to others and walked away.
you could replace Nicole and Rafe with Julie and Doug. Or how about Brady (who came on as an angry bad boy type and hooked up with Chloe. Or even Bo and Hope.
I just seemed to see something there that I think could be played up. I saw more emotion in Rafe with Nicole than I have with anybody else he’s been with. Well, I guess that’d just be Sami, huh? Well, anyway, there sure seemed to be a lot of chemestry to me.
Despite Nicole’s upbringing I feel she has done enough to deserve what she gets. Lots of people have a bad childhood and don’t grow up and become an accessory to kidnapping etc. However, I think since Rafe has been up to this point, a stand up guy they are really having him cross the ethical line here. Frankly I thought the "cuddling" was worse to do to Nicole than if they had just gotten drunk and had sex. To make her think he really cares about her was pretty cruel. I did think it was absurd for Sami to be jealous though. She runs off and gets engaged to EJ and then gets pissed because Rafe is with Nicole? Too bad honey! I still can’t figure out why a smart guy like Rafe would want Sami in the fist place. She’s a crappy mom, marrying into a crime family for your kids? Running from man to man, a jobless loser. Rafe could do so much better.
