to comment on Sami once again. I get so tired of seeing her act like a complete fool. I couldn’t believe her chasing Rafe in to the locker room at the gym and demanding he pay attention to her. I can’t believe Rafe is not smart enough to realize what Sami is and will always be like. I don’t think she will ever change. She is very self-centered and she acts like a spoiled brat when EJ and Rafe are not falling at her feet. Of course, we know EJ is only putting on an act to get Sami right where he wants her. I really wish the writers(?) wouldn’t put Rafe and Sami back together again. It makes me sick to think about it happening. Rafe needs to think with his head and not another part of his body. He and Sami can’t go five minutes without Sami going ballistic. Sami is going to think all this investigating Rafe has done is all for her. I know he wants to solve the kidnapping, but I also think the FBI in him wants to prove he can be a good agent. He has done several things that I wonder if a really good FBI agent would do.
all (most) been saying the same exact thing that you said about Sami. I don’t want her to end up with Rafe. He’s too nice a guy to put up with her shinnanigens. I am surprised he has this long.
I’d rather have her end up with EJ because those two are a pair match made in heaven (or the other place depending on your point of view). And I’m not saying this because I am an EJ/Sami fan.
I’ve watched Sami for years now…she will never be happy with anyone; I would hate for her to ruin another nice guy like Rafe. Let someone new come on the scene so he can have a "happily ever-after" story, but not with Sami. And I love Sami – because of her antics – it’s just difficult to explain how I love/hate her at times.
Do you girls (and you too, Johnnyboy) think EJ really loves Sami or is he just, as shadow is saying, manipulating her to get her under his thumb. I always felt his love for her was real. I mean, after all, who would want to spend their life with having to put up with Sami?
I think the concensus of opinion is that she will eventually end up with Rafe. I’m not so sure about that. I think this triangle is one of the most successful ones Days has had for quite some time and I don’t believe the writers are yet ready to give up on it. Unless Sami does a 180° with her life, she won’t be happy with ANY man. Nor will any man be happy with HER!
IMO, Rafe and Brady suffer from the same disease and I don’t see a cure on the horizon for either one of them.
I don’t think EJ knows what love really is. He wouldn’t have done the awful things he did if he truly loved her. With that said though, I think he does love her as much as he could love anyone. I don’t think he’s manipulating her. He thinks he loves her. To me, love is actions so he doesn’t love her in the true sense of the word. He just has too much evil in him to be capable of love.
And yes, Sami will never be happy with any man. She deserves EJ more than Rafe because of all of the truly terrible things she has done to people (raping Austin, stealing Belle, lying about Will’s paternity, injecting John with drugs and the list goes on and on!!) These aren’t just little things but I know that in Soapland these things are forgotten. So she’s a better match for EJ.
What bugs me the most about Sami, is that her life is always about men! I can’t stand that when Sami is upset or confused (which is most of the time) in her conversations with Rafe and EJ (or anyone for that matter), she clenches her mouth, gets all huffy, and acts all breathless.
There was a scene w/EJ alone when it dawned on him that he “loves” Sami. I do believe this is the closest EJ will ever come to any version of love.
Not only is Sami obsessed with having a man, but Stephanie and Chloe are the same way. I so wish Days would come out of the dark ages to realize there is more to a woman’s life than getting and keeping a guy. And having them get pregnant on one take. And being so paranoid they will do anything to stop another female from taking their man. I mean haven’t we seen enough of this?I hate to say it but it’s true….Sami is a better match for EJ! She’s always TRIED to be loved, but after awhile her true nature does come out. She thinks she wants a hero, a white knight, but she truly wants someone who will 100% back her and love her for who she is, AND that’s EJ! ( and Lucas to an extent) Rafe loves the determined adventurous part of Sami, the loving mom she is, BUT…..he’ll never be able to trust her enough to make it last. Sami should just let herself be A Dimera….and let EJ help her with all her conquests and live in the life of coruption she so thrives in.
Wow, Ms. Jake, are we agreeing for once on EJ and Sami?! I keep telling everybody that those two are MADE FOR EACH OTHER! Their hot together! Their chemistry is off the chains! I sooooooooo don’t want her to end up with Rafe in the very, very end.
I agree about EJ. I don’t think he knows what love really is or what it feels like because he wan’t raised with it. He was raised that when you desire or want something you control it and you go to any means to get your hands on it. To him Sami is the prize and he might care for her and lust after her and think that’s love but is it really.
LOL…In all fairness, I don’t really care about Sami…so she should get what she deserves! She can feel better about herself being a partner with EJ then Rafe. Rafe deserves better, maybe Jennifer if she’s free of Jack. Sami with Rafe would be a repeat of her with Austin or Brandon….been there. With EJ, he would support all her selfish agendas, help her get all she wants. It would be more fun to watch then see her struggling with "trying" to be good for the wrong man.
This isn’t Sami. That woman is long gone. Maybe they should have Rafe attempt to shoot EJ and hit Sami instead. She was likable when she was with Lucas but now she can suffer for all I care. She’s a worthless idiot.
She is such a character! For years now we’ve all watched her – hoping against hope that Sami would finally grow into a woman, seeing that in spite of having four children, she’s more of a child than her oldest at times…Ahhhhh Sami – you would surprise us all if you would just excel in maturity by even just five little years on your chronological age. I think when Sami is Mrs. H’s age, she will be the same flighty personality…
I am not a EJ fan. But in my mind Nicole is a far better match for him than Sami. Cause once Sami has EJ, she will not like him and start wanting him to change and that is not in his nature. EJ is a manipulator. I think the chase is mor impotant than the reality and he too will tire of Sami. He doesn’t love, he conquers. How long befroe he becomes bored? He was different with Nicole cause they were both edgy and somewhat dark. Sami wants someone to take care of her and her kids–she doesn’t even have a job!!!
She won’t be happy with Rafe either cause he is too common for her. Money will be tight and they will crumble–like Austin and Brandon. Sami needs to grow up and be on her own, then she will be ready for love.
