Participantexcept I did love Nick’s performance. The judges have been harping on Bindi’s shoulders the entire season so maybe it is a reason for 9s. Didn’t Bruno also give her a 9? But she is a joy to watch.
Yes, finding out Nick and his wife were having a boy that way I too didn’t go for. I feel like DWTS also made too big a production about the entire baby thing and the previous miscarriage.
Tamar I can do without. When she made that “I’m the best dancer” comment, what did she expect? Then this week she’s whining about having no esteem. Interesting that the public didn’t call her the winner of the head to head dance. I do not see her taking the trophy.casey
Participantso drawn out. I guess Days wants us to suffer! But apparently the delay is to give time for the wedding night to get well into gear and Aiden to put his murder plan into play. But is there any doubt the end game has Bo bursting in (BTW is the wedding night in Hope’s house? Kind of odd if it is) as Aiden is strangling Hope?

Participantabout Daniel’s comments so the connection between the theme and the soap anniversary didn’t immediately strike me. At any rate, wardrobe and hair failed miserably, to the point of comic relief. I didn’t though, dislike Theresa’s dress as much as others. Poor Judi Evans – wondered how she felt about that upflip do? I didn’t even recognize her!
You and me both Bonbon were walking the earth(along with the dinosaurs!) during that memorable decade.casey
ParticipantLani went as Rafe’s guest. Maybe just to grill him on Abe who is suspected to be her dad? Probably though, it’s more than that.

ParticipantI enjoy all opinions on here. But I think Shadow, what continues to stump me is what drives you to be a viewer? From my own experience if I were largely negative about the direction and characters of a program I would not invest time in watching. I’ve brought this up before but we’ve not yet heard your response. I’m truly interested in knowing what enjoyment you get from tuning in to a show you are mainly critical of. It has nothing to do with your right to make comments, but rather why you are invested.

ParticipantThe hair dept must have used every lock in existence for this event. Waaay too much for most of the gals, overwhelming them. I don’t feel the mega falls and wigs complimented anyone. I agree Ciara’s outfit was a tad too casual to fit the setting and Adrienne was a wreck.

Participanteven the Ravs wouldn’t be out of it! Outside of the division leaders (what is happening though to the Colts?) parity is ruling with a lot of 4-3 and 3-4 teams. I’m surprised about Oakland and on the flip side San Diego. Rivers is having a ton of completions but that team is so far hapless.
And Powerpaw, I was kind of shocked by GB last night which is cementing the idea of Denver’s vicious defense. Wherever Wade Phillips has gone his defense always shines. And they have rescued Denver many times this year. Last night too, was Manning’s best performance. He looked like the Peyton of old.casey
Participantis it’s. Understandably, an apostrophe otherwise indicates possession. But the exception is it’s. The only and ever meaning for it’s is that it stands for it is. When used as a possessive there is no apostrophe.
My own spelling is often hit and miss and I appreciate grammar. But agreed, this forum is Days, not English. So no more corrections from me unless requested!casey
ParticipantI have no real idea but I think his demise should be more fittingly at the hands of Chad trying to save Abigail.
Caroline might be a pain but she is not just thinking she is dreaming of Bo but experiencing a real vision of his plight.
While the more “fluffy” comments ala wardrobe and hair are certainly not on par with characters and SLs, these are still part of the show. As long as they are pointed at the characters and not the actors.casey

Participantsupposed to be on the main board. Anyway, I could see the kidnapping coming a mile away.

Participantpoorly put together both in dress and hair. I don’t think you could put a name on the “style” – just looks like she got up, pulled it back and that’s it. I’d like to know what the hair stylists are trying to achieve, unless they are linking the messy do to Abby’s stress level.

Participantto have scenes with the coming teen Ciarra? So I don’t see him dying for awhile yet.
