Can someone explain to me why Abigail is running around in a summer weight sleeveless dress at the end of October? Even Jen’s dressed looked more summery yesterday at the shower. And hope in her sleeveless white top. This wardrobe thing always makes me crazy. Jeez can’t you remember that this is the Midwest we are supposed to be dealing with and not California? I know we go through this every so often but it just made me nuts watching Abigail in particular in that very summery dress yesterday and today.

I went to my daughter’s band concert last night. We live in northern Utah. It was chilly and I kid you not, the woman two rows in front of me was wearing a white cotton sleeveless dress. She looked like she didn’t get the memo that it was late October and cool outside.

it must be difficult under those large, very hot studio lights all day long.  Still, they could put them in outfits that have sleeves, or maybe a lightweight cardigan, similar to what Mary Beth Evans had on the other day (red print dress with cardigan top).  I’ve heard stories that lots of actors complain about working under the lights.

I’ve complained about this before as well, especially when it’s supposed to be winter in the midwest and they are walking around in short sleeves and skimpy leather jackets open in the front.  However, Abby’s summery dress didn’t bother me.  I think because October is a month that can feature many temperature swings, especially here in Boston.  It can be cold one day and then it can be very warm another.

This morning is very humid and warm with temps close to 70 and later today, the temperature will be in the low to mid 70’s (which I am very excited about!) so I have a short-sleeved top on.  So sometimes you have to dress the day, not the season, but I totally agree overall how they dress.  They will be wearing summer dresses right through to spring.  But as people have said, it probably has a lot to do with the hot lights.

and we only have one season…HOT, but I think people should dress to their liking, not the time of year or the season or what’s “in” or anything else but what pleases them. I see people here walking around in hoodies and sweatshirts when it’s in the upper 90s and wonder what is wrong with them but apparently they are comfortable with it so, so be it.

I’m having more trouble with hair than wardrobe. Could they possibly make Abby’s hair any more horrible? And Jen’s is running a close second. Then look at Kayla’s. It looks like she just got out of the shower and pulled it back into a little knot without the benefit of a brush or comb. What’s going on there, have they run out of ideas for pretty hairdos so they’re going to try ugly now? If so, they really nailed it. Enough people, enough.

I completely agree about Abby’s hair. What in the world is that style? It has been looking terrible for weeks now–sticking out in all the wrong places!

poorly put together both in dress and hair. I don’t think you could put a name on the “style” – just looks like she got up, pulled it back and that’s it. I’d like to know what the hair stylists are trying to achieve, unless they are linking the messy do to Abby’s stress level.

I’m in Jax and it’s been in the mid 80s.  Lovin it!  Where are you?

about 1/2 hour NW of Ft. Lauderdale. I like that the temps have dropped a little now down into the eighties but the humidity is still way to high. I’ve always said, winters in S. FL once the humidity drops is just about as ideal as you can get. I just love having all my doors and windows open to the fresh air.

It’s funny though, as close as we are to each other how different the weather can be. My son and family live in Deltona (between Daytona and Orlando for those not familiar and always think I’m talking about DAYTONA) often find the temps can be 20 degrees different, higher or lower, no rhyme or reason as to why. Although when I lived in CA, it was the same between San Jose and San Francisco. They are only 40 miles apart and I’ve experienced it being 90º in San Jose and 45º in SF.

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to winter.

The sofas are killing me!! They remind me of the ones in my 1980’s college dorm! If the budget is that tight, maybe they can buy an IKEA slipcover?

But Abigail’s dress was very summer I MO and looked wrong for the time of year…even if the temp took a sudden one day jump. Guess I’m just not as open minded as you

Mid 80s during the day, lower 70s when I walk around 8pm.

Didn’t know you lived in CA.  I guess you could help Dionne Warwick because you know the way to San Jose.  ;-)
