accents are tough to master even for the best. In films they always bring in an accent coach and actors tell how they have to work on it for some time. And in daytime you just don’t get that advantage.
But yeah, it IS one of the worst I’ve heard!we all were when the current bunch came in? They were good briefly, then what a tumble. At least I’m grateful Days wasn’t so blind not to see the decline. I have no idea what the new staff will offer – but please, a little common sense would be a good start.
that you can’t become invested in characters/relationships when they flit about from one to the other? Don’t the actors feel foolish being called on to behave this way? I would really like to know where the Days brass is coming from. It’s just lazy lazy writing as far as I can see, and for my money Ken Corday has been a terrible captain of this once proud ship.
when Carrie, all set to proclaim Rafe as her “choice,” now overhearing him w/Nicole, what does she do? Well, of course she runs back to good ol’ hubby and tells him HE’S the one.
Are these writers serious? What would the senior Cordays think of the embarrassment this show has become? I cannot believe people get big bucks to write such tripe.as I have no sense of tension or drama here. A big problem is because of the repetitiveness of this SL, going to the well once too often, there is no hold your breath moment. Like we know our heroes are in no real danger and the only “carrot” is what does Stef’s letter hold?
And like so much of Days lately, they are proving yet again you can’t resurrect history nor youth. Maybe it was just me, but I thought Hope actually looked old in that dress today.don’t like Sami (but from today’s show “maybe” things will look up w/Lucas) I do agree Marlena does favor Carrie. But then maybe it’s a way of showing Marlena does have her flaws.
It’s hard for me to imagine even the hardest core Sami fans can find something positive in her character at present. Compare her with Nicole for instance – Nicole has done some pretty wicked things, but yet the viewer can stll sympathize with her. I am not finding anything redeeming in Sami, and you can’t tell me it ALL goes back to her family breakup.
on how she’s done this and that and gotten sooo much experience from being with Dannity Kane – like they were together for two minutes and gee, made such an impact. And of course, self-destructed because of egos like Aubrey! Put a sock in that piehole and stop patting yourself on the back – you’re losing!
that there is no hope for Sami unless (and it looks like this “might” be possible) they pair her up with Lucas again. It appears to me as if she is sinking further every day, becoming chummy with the EJ who did so many horrendous things to her and her “this is me – deal with it!” attitude.
And for the disappointing Rafe, he’s seems only good for coming to the rescue of damsels in distress. I mean, talk about a repeat SL with trying to hide a pregnancy from the ever- pollinating EJ!
