ParticipantI’d really like to see her stay awhile but there’s really nobody else ready to leave. I guess just because she’s an underdog and how much this show is doing for her self-esteem. I’m sure living in mommy’s spotlight is rather difficult.
I was amazed to see Florence Henderson do as well as she has. She was really good last night. I think of myself out on the dance floor and how winded I get doing a fast number and she gets done and isn’t even breathing hard. I’m sure Corky corregraphs the numbers to be as easier on her as he can but still…she really moves around. Kudos to the ol’ girl.

ParticipantMaybe that was Jason (I think that was the name they used) hitting on Carly.

ParticipantI can’t even stand to watch someone eat escargot. When they were eating the cockroaches on The Colony I almost unswallowed! And I had my eyes closed. I did try escargot once and can’t say it tasted bad (in fact, it just tasted like butter and garlic), it’s just thinking what I have in my mouth.

Participantbecause it was so different from what we usually see in polygamist families. Actually, three of his four wives had jobs outside the home so they obviously had a pretty good income, although it would take quite a bit to support 12 (eventually 16) kids. I really didn’t find him narcissistic or full of himself either. (Lots of guys drive Porches.) I thought he was a very caring person who had deep concerrn for all four women and all the kids. When a guy sobs because he felt he hurt two of his wives, he’s obviously thinking of them, not himself. And I thought he was kind of cute, except for his hair…which he explained.
I also don’t condone the lifestyle, it’s just that I found them to be so different from the mainstream polygs (what they call themselves) it really caught my attention. I would like to see more except I don’t know what else they could feature as this series was all about taking the fourth wife. Probably every day life wouldn’t be as interesting.

Participantyesterday the CC kept showing him as "Jason." I couldn’t figure that out so looked in imdb.com and it says "Ben" there. Hmmm…

ParticipantHe used to be an edgy kind of nasty where he was still sophisticated and let others do his dirty work for him behind the scenes. But now they’re writing him where he’s an absolute ass most of the time and just out-and-out unlikeable. It’s kind of hard to but in words but I guess I’d describe it as changing him from a white collar bad guy to a blue collar bad guy. Does that make any sense?
I wish they wouldn’t do this because I’m afraid it’s going to turn James’ fans against him, as well as EJ. So, IMHO, they’re not only ruining the character, they’re ruining the actor as well. Anybody else feel this too?

ParticipantWhich means they’ll never use it…but I hope they do.
I said before, that girl had awfully severe pain for appendicitis, even if it had ruptured. They obviously gave her something to mimic appendicitis and then opened her up and took what they wanted. Although it’d be pretty hard in real life if she were to be embalmed or have to go to the coroner’s office. But we all know that Day’s doesn’t pay any attention to such petty details anyway.

ParticipantI’ve had certain ones hit me like that too. And there’s no explaining why some more than others.
I never watched Leave It To Beaver although I do remember her from some of the other things she did. She certainly lived a long life.

ParticipantIf EJ is the one to hit Ari. Wouldn’t that be karma?

ParticipantI just LOVE Ty Treadway. I hope he has a good, big storyline. BTW, didn’t you just love the way he stood up to EJ the other day?

ParticipantDee had a few…ahem…enhancements. I read one time that she always required long vacations because that’s when she got her…um…touch-ups. Consequently, Marlena did a lot of visiting with her parents in Colorado, medical conferences and such. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
However, I knew a girl who worked in a botique in Florida that Dee and Andrea frequented and she said she didn’t have any trouble telling them apart at all. She also said the Andrea was the much "kinder" of the two. Draw your own conclusions from that.

Participantshe accused Michael C. of cheating. That was dispicable and the way she talked to him, I thought, was really cruel. I lost any respect I’d had for her.
And I’m glad everybody (well, most everybody, I don’t think Gretchen likes him at all) turned around on their feelings for Michael C. I couldn’t understand why they didn’t like him. It’s kind of like Survivor, many times we don’t really know what’s going on when the camera isn’t rolling. The producers edit everything to make it look the way THEY want it and not always the way it really is.

ParticipantAfter the last episode I’m convinced it’s going to be Mondo. My thoughts before was that it would be between he and Andy but now I’m pretty sure it’ll be him. Everybody named him first as the one they thought should go to Fashion Week with them and the judges all seem to like him.
I was really surprised that Gretchin didn’t go (which I was really hoping for as I think she’s lost it). Although it WAS time for April to depart. I wasn’t aware that all her creations have been in black. Not too smart.
This is my first year watching so I don’t know what Fashion Week involves but I’m looking forward to it. I just drool when they go into Mood. OMG, how I’d love to have a store like that near me. I’d have a houseful of fabric.

ParticipantRemember WebTV? I wasn’t too successful. Although I don’t think it was wireless. Surely someone has given a thought to a wireless keyboard and the TV.

ParticipantI think if I loved somebody I would not want to hurt them by telling them about the infidelity. I think that would hurt much more than finding out that you had kept it from them. When it comes right down to it, I don’t think it’s anyone’s business to tattle. Some things are better left unsaid.
