I dreamed last night that EJ and Nicole DID fall in love.  I’ve got to get a life.

That woman has an enormous amount of hair, especially for her age.  A lot of women’s hair tends to thin out as they get older.  Apparently not her…unless she’s wearing a hair piece.

But, yes, as beautiful as it is, I think she looks like she’s from from the South with the "big hair."  Although I’d hate to see her cut it, I think they could come up with something a little more, um, conservative.  At least try it out to see what happens.  She’s a lot like Chloe in that they never (well, hardly ever) wear it back or up.

That’s what my hasband (no, not a typo) always used to tell me.

the time he blew up the loan sharks house when they were after Philip because he owed them so much money and were threatening him.  Or when he rigged the elevator to fall and kill Bo?  And I’m sure he has some other dispicable things in his past.  Over the last ten years they’ve mellowed Victor out considerably (to my liking BTW).

a very exciting NY Eve this year.  I’m going to have a glass of wine with my doggies (no, no wine for them, I’ll give them a doggie treat) and try to stay awake long enough to see the ball drop in Times Square.  Then I’m going to give them both a hug and go to bed and get up to a brand new year.

Happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year to all of my friends here and all my friends everywhere else too.

IIRC, she was about six months, certainly old enough to viable.  Remember, the baby had been moving for quite awhile.

to Melanie being put in a situation where she’s going to have to lie to others.  It’s the best comeuppance I can think of, to put her in a place where these others have been and see how SHE handles it.  I got a feeling that little Miss Saint Melanie will find out that the world isn’t all black and white.  And then when she’s found out, it is thrown back into her self-righteous face.

would take Victor’s advice and USE A CONDOM you dumb SOBs.  I can’t believe all the irresponsible people on this show.  What kind of message does that send to the viewers, especially teen girls, who should NOT leave the subject of protection up to the male.

I was thinking the same thing about Mel losing the baby, Patti.  First of all, she’s way to young to start a family (in spite of the fact I had my first son at 19 but that was a completely different era), AND, we’ve got too many kids on the show as it is.

That sounds too much like James Reily material.

…that’s why they have both of them.  They have to please us all.

If I had to rate them, I’d put EJ first, then Brady, then Rafe, then Philip.  I’m sure many of you here would have a different list.  Yes?  No?

I’ve said all along I thought the inept nurse entered the results incorrectly.  Otherwise, what was the reasoning for having her at all.  AFAICS, that was her only purpose.

Yesterday’s episode had my rapt attention throughout.  The only thing I kept shouting at them was, "Chloe, tell them you weren’t even married yet."  (Was Philip?  I don’t think so.)  I know that doesn’t justify it but at least she didn’t break her wedding vows and at least is a modicum of defense.

This is a real mess, isn’t it?  I can’t even imagine how there can be any "happy" resolution to this fiasco.

BTW, did anybody but me think Daniel is a poor excuse for a respected doctor?  The first thing he does is take to his fists, twice now with Philip alone.  And to pick up that cross to probably kill Philip with it was something no sane person would even consider doing.  Daniel has a dangerous temper and I wouldn’t want to live with someone like that, let alone be married to him.  I’d think the first thing you’d want to do is ask the person(s) involved for an explanation.

he gets an eye transplant (yeah, I’m sure!!! but if Philip can have a face transplant I guess anything is possible) provided by Dr. Ben?  Maybe that’s how they are going to bring this all together.

Dr. Baker could have given Sydney (assuming she is really Nicole’s) and taken Sami’s baby to give to another couple.  After all, that’s the business he was in.  It would somehow have to come out that Sami’s real child comes out into the open and that starts a major round of DNA testing.  As I say, pretty much of a stretch but nothing the writers haven’t done before.

At least you didn’t go off and do something stupid like leave the church to go to EJ’s to see the kids.

That was pretty cool of him.
