DOOL is on right now (currently on commercial)…I just had to get online and exclaim that THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES EVER! Oh my goodness! {I’m sure the show hasn’t aired for some of you yet, so I won’t go tell what’s happening, but rest assure it’s GRRRREAT!}
I felt sorriest for Daniel and Melanie. Their lives were shattered by the lies of a few people. They were the only innocent ones there. Phillip and Chloe started this whole mess (I loved it when Victor asked Phillip if he’d ever heard of a condom). Carly by helping Chloe hide the truth. Caroline by switching the paternity test and Kayla by hounding Caroline to the extent of following her to the church to insist the truth had to come out. Yeah, Victor was hurt by Caroline’s words but his life hasn’t just been shattered and Maggie was an innocent bystander who cares for Melanie and Phillip but her day to day life isn’t a mess as a result of this.
this mess isn’t over yet. I, too, felt most sorry for Mel and Daniel. Melanie was just beginning to come to grips with Nathan and Stephanie, and Daniel because he thought he had his ideal family at last. I thought Molly did an exceptional job today. She’s quite good when she’s not acting and speaking like a small child. Peggy did a fabulous job with Caroline today. Keep it up, writers. I’m beginning to believe there’s talent there afterall.
I respectfully disagree that they "started it". It was Vivian and vendetta against Carly that started it. If she hadn’t made Chloe think that Daniel and Carly were sleeping together, Chloe might have had the good sense not to go running to Philip for comfort and Phil wouldn’t have been with Chloe if he hadn’t seen Melanie with Nathan. There are lots of people to blame for this mess.
Sorry but I have to disagree about feeling sorry for Melanie. I do agree that she was great in her acting today but I just dont feel that sorry for her. We all know that little kiss between her and Nathan was NOT a goodbye kiss. I wish she would just admit that. She’s in love with him and they both know it yet she still stays married to Phillip. Granted in the end I dnt really care who she ends up with, I dont like her with either Nathan or Phillip. Nathan just bores me to tears anyway. I felt the most for Daniel of course. Did Maggie know about Chloe’s affair at all? I didnt know if she knew or not. So many other people did it’s hard to keep track.
I did feel for Melanie today because I’ve been there. I know the heartache to find out that your husband has been unfaithful. but Daniel was the biggest looser today. IMHO.
has forgotten that he started this by his and Chloe’s affair while she was supposed to be with Lucas. He knows that Chloe cheated WITH him, so why is it so much worse that she cheated ON him.
I really wish Salemites could mind their own business and learn to keep their mouths closed. I really hate the nosiness of everyone.

once all these couples have been broken up, it will come to light that Parker will indeed be Dan’s kid. There had to be a reason for that incompetent employee at St. Mary’s when the test was taken.
I agree. I really don’t understand why Kayla is so upset with Carly. Carly didn’t mess with the results of the test she did an honest test. Granted she faked Chloe’s name on the hospital records but she had no part in keeping the parentage of Parker a secret, she was trying to find out the truth and if Kayla wasn’t so determined to butt her nose in where it didn’t belong with Chloe, Daniel, Phillip and Melanie then Caroline wouldn’t have been at the church and she might not have had a stroke.
Vivian to come to Salem. She followed Carly to get her revenge, and it spilled over to include others in Salem. Vivian set all this in motion with her lies, tricks and determination to cause trouble. Without Vivians lies, maybe Chloe and Philip would not have so easily cheated.
There seems to be enough blame to go around so everyone has a share. Little Parker is the only innocent one in this ‘baby daddy drama’.

True. But when it comes down to it, no-one is to blame except for Chloe and Phillip! They are the only ones responsible for their actions.
boycotting "Days" (episodes sitting on my DVR though)…I got mad at them for putting Christmas show on after Christmas (preemption excuse be da- -ed!). But I’m keeping up on it by reading you guysies comments – think they are much more interesting than the show actually!
