Jack would never leave his family like this? He did it before when Abby was a baby and got sick. It’s typical Jack Devereaux to run away when the going gets tough.
Now, a comment on Jen. Believe me, after having heart surgery, she would NOT have been prancing around so gingerly. She would have been walking very slowly and carefully, mostly like bent over a tad. Trust me on that one. It took me a couple of weeks before I could walk normally, and I only had by-pass, she had her heart totally removed and replaced. Maybe that Salem water has extrodinary healing powers as well as some of the bad stuff we’ve seen it cause. :o)
I wonder if they’re both (the twins) like that. She (since Parker is actually played by twin girls) just seems to smile so easily no matter who it is talking to her. What a joy they must be for their parents. The casting director on Days certainly has hit it out of the ballpark when it comes to the kids.
but fainting at weddings is very common. Apparently it’s because of standing still, locking one’s knees, and/or being warm. I’ve been at a couple of weddings when a member of the wedding party fainted…one was the groom!
But it was stupid, nontheless.
I thought Nicole looked absolutely beautiful. Loved her hair and make-up. She is really a gorgeous girl.
I know that they also can take unpaid leave if they want to. I don’t know how much or how often but my friend used to do that occasionally. His wife had a good job and between them they made very good money so financially, it wasn’t a problem for them.
I’d guess it’s the same thing with Ali. Especially since he’s been with the CHP for quite some time (it’s gotta be at least 10 years or more). He probably gets at least four weeks vacation and taking the unpaid leave, that would give them quite a bit of time to travel or whatever.

I’m sure it’s faux fur. First, I don’t believe they’d spend that much money on wardrobe (especially two in two days) and second, I don’t think they’d take the chance of offending all the PETA zealots. I really liked the first one she wore but didn’t care much for the second.
Personally, as much as I love animals, I’m not opposed to wearing their hides. We’ve been doing it for millions of years. And I can’t understand how people can be so vehemently opposed to people wearing furs when they are most likely wearing leather shoes, purses, belts, wallets, etc. Pure hipocracy if you ask me. Let the stone-throwing begin.

Yes, this female body image thing has gone way too far. There is some controversy now about some size 16 models wearing underwear in a new Lane Bryant commercial. Huh? If they can have the skinny ones trotting down the runway, what’s wrong with a size 16 doing it? IMO, I believe "plus size" doesn’t start until a minimum of size 16. But now the industry is saying sizes 8 and 10 are plus sizes! OMG! I’m a size 8 (after losing some weight) and my friends are telling me I’m too skinny. I’m 5’7" and there’s NO way in the world I’m a "full figure".
but now I believe that he honestly has feelings for her. She has wormed her way into his heart because of her love for the kids…and…keeping her nose out of his "business." But, remember, he did love her once and I think it’s very easy for a love to be rekindled. No, Patti, I think he truly loves, or at least, deeply cares for her.
it was the only way I think of to resolve this horrible mess. And the one thing I like about it is that Stephno will finally get his retribution. Can’t you just see the steam coming out of his ears when he finally finds out he killed his own minion instead of Raph? Priceless!
I just cringed when she washed those drugs down the drain. That’s the worst possible place to put unused drugs.
Unused medicine should be mixed in coffee grounds, or anything unpleasant, to prevent animals from getting to them and put in the regular trash. Or, the best thing to do is return them to the pharmacy for proper disposal. (I believe they incinerate them.) It’s interesting to know that if I drop a pill on the floor, my dogs, who normally will scarf up practically anything before it even hits the floor, will not touch them. I don’t know how it happened but I found a blood pressure pill on the floor right next to their food completely untouched.
As to Mel…I’m finding it very difficult to not want to plant my fist in the middle of her face. Just as she was becoming somewhat tolerable, she has now gone way over the edge and has gotten into the same boat with Kate.
because she’s pushing her new book. That’s pretty normal for someone who writes a book, to go on all the talk shows and make as many appearances as they can to sell it.
they are taken right off the plane they fly to wherever it is they meet up and then go right to the island. They aren’t given time to change clothes. But notice later in the show they will all be wearing sneakers. Did you see also that one guy was wearing a suit?
I think they are allowed to bring some things with them. If you watch during the whole season, you’ll notice everybody (although they’re in the same thing most of the time) has different clothing at times. Notice, eventually, they all have swim suits. What I hate is the guys running around in their underwear. Yuck! But I think TPTB think that is an attraction to the girls. Not me.
And, Pammy, he didn’t say he was Secret Service, he said a "Federal Agent." That could even turn out to be someone who works for the IRS.
