Yes, this female body image thing has gone way too far. There is some controversy now about some size 16 models wearing underwear in a new Lane Bryant commercial. Huh? If they can have the skinny ones trotting down the runway, what’s wrong with a size 16 doing it? IMO, I believe "plus size" doesn’t start until a minimum of size 16. But now the industry is saying sizes 8 and 10 are plus sizes! OMG! I’m a size 8 (after losing some weight) and my friends are telling me I’m too skinny. I’m 5’7" and there’s NO way in the world I’m a "full figure".
I’m very lucky. My husband likes full figured women and thinks Delta Burke is beautiful just the way she is. Of course he likes to look at the thinner actresses and thinks Sandra Bullock is "cute as a bug on in rug" but he’s attracted to someone with a little meat on his bones.
I’m 5’2" and overweight. Even though we talk about me loosing weight for health reasons he always said he doesn’t want me to go overboard but to maintain my curves.
