working together to solve a mystery.  We’re getting exactly what we asked for.  I just wonder when they spend time at their REAL job.

I’ve never been to a wedding vow renewal but I though they always wore something similar to a bridal dress, just not as elaborate.

And I don’t think red is Sami’s best color.  It make her look very hard.

And since she ended up now making one, we didn’t get to see what it was.  I’m in the dark as much as you.

in those last scenes silently.  And I think you could pretty well see the embarassment on Sami’s face as she hugged John.  However, I think there is more underlying issues that the shooting between her and Marlena/John.  It looked to me like her heart wasn’t totally in the hugs.

(not the exact word I wanted but can’t think of it right now) but…I really think the producers of these "reality contests" stress to the contestants that they MUST be overly gracious and hug and congratulate the winner when they lose.  I remember the first AI when Kelly Clarkston (?) won and What’s-his-name looked like he was happier that she won than if he had.  Same when Ruben Studdard won.  (Hope I have these names right.)

And, it’s happened repeatedly on other shows too.  Survivor is a good example.  The loser always looks so happy and I don’t believe that is the case.  Others are, America’s Got Talent, DWTS, and So You Think You Can Dance.  They are all just so phony.  I don’t know if I could be such a big sport having just barely lost $1M (Survivor).  I’m not saying they need to be grumpy and throw a fit, just have them shake hands and congratulate them and then get the heck out of there.

it mentioned an Idol winner.  And I’d never heard of him/her (forgot which) before.  True I don’t watch the show but you’d think they’d at least be in the entertainment news (which I watch every night) once in a while.

She doesn’t like much (or watch much) on TV but she loves Merlin, Grimm, and OUAT.  Escapism?  But I love them too.

I was just really surprised to see them writing Uther out of the show but glad Arthur will be allowing magic again.  That should make for some good storylines.

I have to root for Melanie because she is a Florida girl.  Not that it helped Albert on Survivor.

no more respect than Sami has for Madison (as employer/employee), or maybe I should say common sense in knowing her place, can you imagine how she’s going to be with Kate?  I just can’t see Kate willing to put up with all Sami’s crap, I don’t care HOW "talented" she is.

I think it was only about six episodes.

And can’t believe you haven’t finished Ice Cold yet.  I read it practically straight through.  I had a hard time relating the characters in the book with the ones on TV though.  They just seem to me to be entirely different people.  With Rizolli being blond, married, and with a daughter is just so different than what Angie Harmon plays on TV.

For one thing, they’ve never even hinted on TV at Isles being in love with a priest.  I read the book right after Ice Cold (can’t remember the name right now) and she is broken up with him but still has feelings.

I’m getting soooo tired of these reality shows.  They are so terribly manipulated that they think their audience must have an accumulated IQ of an earthworm.  Heck, even DWTS which had been my favorite show is beginning to get old.  Yes, I like to see the costumes, dances, make-up, etc. but they ruin it with their manipulation.  Like AI, until they can start showing me how America ACTUALLY votes, I just can’t get excited anymore.

But glad you’re excited, Nora.  Don’t let my funky attitude affect you!  :o)

I’m looking forward to the return of Merlin (King Uther is going to die and Arthur becomes king!) and Burn Notice (one of my most favorites) in January.

They have a doggie door and I can put out food and water for at least five days and leave them.  Five is the most I have done this for and they’ve been fine but I don’t think I’d want to do it for any longer than that.  My neighbor does check in on them occasionally just to make sure they are okay.

I am scheduled to go in for my surgery on Dec. 28 for yet another ulcer removal/stomach repair and doc says I’ll be in the hospital four or five days.  I will do that while I’m there.  I think maybe because they have each other they are okay.  I don’t think I’d want to do that if I only had one dog though. Besides, it seems like they sleep most of the time anyway.  Well, sleep and then go out and bark at any noise they hear…other dogs, cars, kids, the sun coming up, leaves falling on the ground…  :o)

As a so-called "executive" she certainly would have signed a contract and the no-compete is in practically all of them.  Another dropped ball by the writers.

you’ll always be in that boat.  The way technology is moving, nothing will be good for long until because they’ll soon come out with a "new and improved" model/version/gadget.

BTW, I was watching on The History Channel last night their 101 greatest gadgets.  Would you belive, the #1 gadget was the smart phone.  In the top 10 were the telephone, television, radio, computer, typewritter (not necessarily in that order) and I don’t remember the others.
