ParticipantAnd the way she talked to Melanie and the words she used to call her were completely inexcusable. I can’t believe Mel stood there and took them from her. There’s no time limit after a break-up. It’s over and done with and you then move on…separately.
Sure, I can understand her being upset but I certainly wouldn’t display it in public for anybody to see. I wouldn’t want anyone to know what a boob I was. She could be a little cold to Mel for awhile and Mel would certainly get why but to go off on the tyrant she did…? Well, let’s just say Abbey has fallen far in my opinion of her.

ParticipantWe all know what you mean. And who doesn’t occasionally fail to spell a word correctly when you know very well how it’s spelled but it just doesn’t seem right no matter what letters you use.

Participantalong time ago. Maybe something could develop there.

ParticipantThe Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. I read it for my book club thinking it was fiction. When we discussed it I found out it was a memoir. I couldn’t believe that a young girl could possibly go through what she did. It was an incredible book and I HIGHLY recommend it. (Apparently she was on Oprah discussing her life since the book. I just wish I’d seen that.)
That’s one thing I like about a book club, it makes you read things you probably wouldn’t otherwise. I found that the case with some of the best books I’ve read…The Women’s First Detective Agency, Water For Elephants, The Help, The Secret Life of Bees, The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo, The 19th Wife, and many others.

Participantbut if one doesn’t fit into their current storyline, they change it to adapt to their needs…accuracy be damned.

ParticipantBrady’s addiction was drugs and he’s been continually drinking so I don’t think that’s a concern. Even though a drug addict shouldn’t consume alcohol either but he’s mentioned several times that he can handle the alcohol. (Yeah, sure!) But, anyway, it would be the drugs we’d have to worry about. Damn, why can’t they let someone be happy for five minutes?

Participantthe harder it’s going to be on their relationship. They’ve talked to Marlena about it, they’ve gotten all their fears out it the open, but now it’s time to let it go and move forward with their marriage.
How can you ever heal when you keep tearing the wound open again? Any mention of Zack from here on should be positive things that make them remember him with love instead of guilt.

Participantto let Jen help him so she can hardly stay away and still be there for him. I don’t trust Jack either. He can’t stay away from Jen and I don’t think he’s going to. Somehow, I feel he has an ulterior motive.

Participantshe came to Titan because of Brady’s reputation which is why she wanted to work with him. She didn’t know him personally but by the work he had done at Titan and decided she wanted to be associated with him and "his" company. That’s the way I saw it anyway.
From Madison’s demeanor on the phone with this unknow person, I kind of got the feeling it was like a relative, maybe her mother or a sibling. Just from the things she said.

ParticipantFrom what WE see, Will doesn’t even know yet that’s he’s gay so how could EJ even possibly guess (or suspect) it? Stupid.
And, as I predicted when I heard of this scene,…BORING! In fact, I thought yesterday’s entire show was a real snooze-fest. I can’t even say that James’ and Chandler’s acting even begun to save it.

ParticipantIn fact we don’t even know if it will ever return. I don’t think I ever saw anything about the ratings and whether or not everyone involved wants to continue. I hope so because I really enjoyed the show, in spite of the fact that I thought much of it was contrived, it was still pretty interesting.

ParticipantJen is not so much indecisive as she is plainly putting off giving Jack her decision because she knows it will hurt him. I don’t think she really loves Jack the way she used to but feels guilty about not wanting him back to make her family whole and it’s easier to just prolong things than to break his heart. Not saying I agree with this but think that’s what’s happening.
I’m surprised that once Daniel left the picture, she just didn’t go back to Jack out of guilt/duty, however, I’m glad she didn’t. I holding out hope that she and Daniel will reunite as I think they are a delightful pair.

Participantand it was just SOOOO horrible I only made about 15 minutes before I had to switch channels. I’d really be interested in seeing if these new talk shows are garnering higher ratings than did the soaps.
BTW, we have free Showtime this weekend and I watched Inglorious Basterds last night. Although I don’t really care for Quinton Tarantino, this was a really good movie. The guy who played the German security guy was EXCELLENT. He was nominated for an Oscar but don’t remember if he won. (looked it up, yes, he won) Anyway, I recommend the movie. Just be aware, being a Tarantino movie, it’s pretty gross.

Participantfurther about Kirsten’s "health problem"? The last thing I heard was that she had endomitriousis which, it seems to me, should have been taken care of by now. At least to the point where she would be able to return to work. I mean, if she’s unable to work at GH (medically), could she

ParticipantWhat the heck is that? I have to say "yawn" about the studio and Abbey’s lovelorn looks also.
As to their performances, I only hope that we won’t continue to see Will’s over-the-top acting. So far, it has been very appropriate and well-done but I don’t want it to continue for much longer. He has now told Marlena so I think it’s time he starts dealing with it with much less ranting and raving.
And now I am confused; is EJ supposedly blackmailing Will about him actually being his first shooter or about Will being gay?
