Participantthis recent hatred toward John. When Sami and Eric were growing up, they loved John. Even after they found out he wasn’t Roman. I can’t quite remember exactly when she started disliking him. Was it when she saw him and Marlena on the conference table or when she found out that Belle was his and not Roman’s?

ParticipantEJ possibly being John’s son, I think that would be something that would totally devastate Stefano. I mean, look how hard he took Tony’s loss. To lose yet another son, and to John no less, would probably destroy him.

Participantthat Sami ought to be making an obscene amount of money. First off, Madison offered her a salary that really floored her and then Kate doubled it? I would think Rafe wouldn’t even have to work.
I’m wondering now how Madison is going to get Sami out of there. Once Kate finds out what they’ve done to her, she won’t just be on the war path…she’ll be on the kill-everyone-in-sight path.

ParticipantBUT, it’s so appropriate here. Me too! I agree with your post 100%.

Participantthe only good thing in that episode was the maturity and wisdom Jack showed in talking with Abbey. Something we don’t particularily expect to come out of Jack.
But this Rafe and Carrie thing is going to drive me to drink, I swear it will!

Participantafter Victor’s father? IIRC, that was why that name was chosen.
That was another crappy storyline. I hated Angelica soooo bad (mostly for the way she treated Adrienne), I think even worse than Kate, but they still wrote her with a teensy bit of humanity in her.

ParticipantThe worst thing she could possibly have said to Abby was that she "forbids" her from taking that job. That’s the best way in the world to get your kids to do what you don’t want them to. I don’t think Jen would have ever said anything like that…even in anger.

ParticipantJohn is the son of Colleen (the nun) and Stefano’s father (can’t remember his name right now, so, yes, he is a Dimera…Stefano’s brother noless.

Participantdidn’t we see Princess Gina die in front of our eyes?
If these writers are so devoid of ideas to use for the current characters, without rehashing old stuff over and over and over; maybe it’s time to let some of them go and hire new characters. Heck, I’d sacrifice several of them to get some new interest in this poor dying thing.
I am really, really disguested with the way things are going. I have never, and I mean NEVER, before threatened to stop watching and when I say it, it is NOT an empty threat, but, seriously folks, if things don’t start picking up very soon, I’m going to be right next to Patti, doing something else for 40 minutes every day.

ParticipantHow old is Shawn? He can’t be too much younger than EJ.

Participantplenty of time to hang out at the square and have coffee. Not only that, we don’t see either of them working at night. Isn’t that the prime time for a date? I’m getting so sick of this garbage…and that description is being very kind.

ParticipantWho can possibly think of this ridiculous stuff. Like a woman does not know that she is pregnant for nine months and gives birth (probably one of the most painful things a person can encounter) and doesn’t know it???
I’ll bet if you’re born in Salem they fill out your birth certificate in pencil.

ParticipantSteven Tyler is a pig. I don’t give his pending marriage much of a chance. He just likes the ladies too much. BTW, I saw a picture of him on the beach and his body is certainly something that shouldn’t be viewed in public. Ewwww… As skinny as he is, he’s got great big man-boobs and saggy and wrinkly skin. If a woman appeared like that, the papparazzi would be all over her.
On the other hand, JLo has been claimed as The Most Beautiful Woman Alive and I tend to agree with that. She always looks so gorgeous and wears the most beautiful clothes.
Okay, end of editorial. (There’s nothing to write about Days…good OR bad!)

Participantand a couple of other reality shows, is that they don’t show enough of the process. (Face Off is the same way.) I’d like to see more of the progression of the outfits being put together. I also noticed last night that many times they show the construction of the garments out of sequence. They showed the model trying on the dress then later you’d see them tearing fabric or cutting out pattern pieces. I don’t understand the reasoning for this.
But I still love the show anyway. And, I agree, Michael is going to be the one to beat.

Participantyou can get your SAG card if you get a job so as soon as they offer someone a place on the show, they can get it. The problem usually is that you can’t get the job without the card. It’s kind of a vicious circle…you need the card to get the job and you need the job to get the card.
Maybe that explains why the one guy didn’t have any lines. He probably wasn’t very good at it. If the young guy was a vet and not an actor, he certainly did a good job with his part.
