ParticipantPeggy already has it. She’s forgotten to come to work! :o)

ParticipantYes, it seems there are many more cases of Alzheimers these days but isn’t that also true of autism, ADHD, and a few other things? There are so many suppositions like you mentioned. Also, the hormones getting into our food and the polution saturating our soil. Who knows. I sometimes wonder what we are doing to our world and am somehow glad I’m not going to be around to see it. I feel badly for our children and grandchildren. But…it seems no matter what we do, wars, pollution, global warming, whatever, we always adapt to it.
I haven’t had any Alzheimers in my family (thank God) but have seen it in other’s. As my doctor told me, it isn’t the person that has it you should feel sorry for, it is the caretaker(s) and families…they are the ones who are suffering. I just can’t imagine having to do that. God bless you, Pammy, for tackling this difficult job with your mom.
I think they (TPTB) have done a credible job with Theo’s autism as they did with Will’s "coming out," so I hope they can do the same with Caroline’s problem. If one of the writers has any first-hand experience, I’m sure that will help. Let’s just hope so.

ParticipantWhat was she thinking? I don’t know what to say. Whoever selected that dress should be drawn and quartered!

Participantbut, as EJ said, he’d better be careful, he’s walking a fine line there. He was doing great until he told EJ, "You’re mine now." That was going a little too far. I think his wanting to be like EJ was flattering him and he was beginning to fall for it but that negated all of it.
I think the writers kind of blew this scene. I don’t know why EJ just didn’t tell Will that it was an old letter from Mrs. H. and he and Stefano did some investigation and found it was totally unfounded. Who’s going to dispute his statement? Or, he could have said, no, Stefano was not my father, I was adopted. For someone who lies as well as EJ does, he didn’t handle that the best.

Participantand let’s get this crucifixion started! :o)
Seriously, I’ve said before that I don’t feel strongly one way or the other about Carrie but I think all your points are valid. Both of the girls have done their share of stupid things but, to me anyway, Carrie seems to be the more civil and mature of the two. And, yes, she used to be a goody-two-shoes until she ran off with Mike. I think that was the beginning of her moral decline.
Sami is always going off half-cocked and never thinking how she may hurt someone else where Carrie knows what she is doing but seems to have no control over her actions (in the love department). You’ve got to admit, Carrie certainly hasn’t done any of the heinous things Sami has pulled off…drugging John, pretending to be Stan, etc. Carrie’s only misdeeds have been infidelity. Offhand, I can’t think of anything she’s done you’d consider "sinful." (Of course if there was something, SOMEONE will remind me!)
All things considered, Carrie is just another character that the writers have ruined. They just can’t seem to let anybody be a nice, up-standing, moral person anymore. They did the same thing to Rafe.
So, don’t worry, MK, I’ve got your back. :o)

ParticipantIsn’t that so true of most of us? :o)
I’ve always said that’s the reason I’m fairly good at Jeopardy…because my brain is filled with useless facts and information which only comes in handy while watching Jeopardy or playing Trivial Pursuit.
I’m sure my friends and family get purturbed (probably folks on here too) when I start throwing these little tidbits out.

ParticipantThat wouldn’t be called illegal search and seisure because she isn’t in law enforcement. It would be plain ol’ theft.
And it still doesn’t mean anything…it’s not illegal to own ammunition or to keep it in a kitchen drawer; he certainly wasn’t hiding it. An attorney (or any other cop for that matter) would laugh at that as evidence.

Participantas the service. At least that’s what it’s called at our church.
The gathering, which was done at the restaurant, has often been referred to as a celebration/rememberance of one’s life, or, in my family, the not-often-enough-get-together-of-all-the-far-flung-relatives-to-remember-the-life-and-times-of-the-one-who-just-passed! Also, to eat, drink and have a good time.

Participanteither way about Lexie, I think it was done more for Renee than anything. There wasn’t much they could do for the actor so they had to honor the character.
I thought Renee deserved such a fanfair after appearing on the show for 20 years. I just didn’t care much for they way it was done. I thought it was uninteresting at best. I would rather have seen more flasbacks of both good and bad Lexie, showing highlights of Renee’s career instead of "Lexie’s life." But, I understand, they were honoring the character after her death so had to do what they did. Oh, well! JMO

ParticipantThanks for rembering me Penelope. I thought there were quads. Boy, you really have a good memory.

Participantbecause they just said they were married 20 years and Brandon is much older than that.

ParticipantIf that’s the case, look how many "sluts" are on the show. Kate being #1. Add Nicole, Sami, Brady, EJ, John (just add ’em up!), Lucas, Victor, Stefano, Jennifer, Bo (count all of his also), etc. Daniel has had relations with Chelsea, Kate, Chloe, Jennifer, and now Nicole (although I missed that one…dang it!). I don’t think he’s any worse than most of the other characters, in fact, probably less than most of the others. And, please, don’t make me name all of them.

Participanthe was involved with Melissa Reeves. Thus, her sudden exodus from the show per her husband’s demands. That was quite the scandal.

Participantthey were gathering there after the service. There was a quick comment to that effect and that it was Lexie’s wish they all get together afterwords.
And I still thought the whole show was boring. TEHO (I don’t know if that’s a standard abbreviation or not but it stands for "To Each His Own.")

Participantyou should also get Jeopardy. (Hey, I made a rhyme!)
