I posted that exact same thing just now in another thread.  Great minds, eh?

Yes, I thought it was kind of strange and wondered if they are trying to tell us something.  (What, I have no idea.)

Jennifer used to do that all the time with Frankie and then Jack.  It used to drive me crazy listening to her use their name in every sentence.  She doesn’t do it anymore.

setting us up for the age-old unrequited love thing.  They do it so often.  Remember way back when when Hope was with Larry Welch (were they married?) but she was madly in love with Bo but couldn’t be with him?

I’m sure we are going to see both of them with puppy dog eyes, wanting each other but trying so hard to be true to their newly-found intentions.  Makes for good drama.

Did you notice how many times Dan used the word "mom" when he was talking to Maggie?  A little excessive, I thought.  I wonder if there was something foretelling in that.

I am kind of surprised that Daniel isn’t going back to Jen now that Jack is gone.

I thought maybe he’d been on the show before but I didn’t remember him or it was pre-VCR days.

there’s ONE.  My bad.  Well kick me to the curb and cover me with newspaper.

I figured if I wrote that and there was anybody, they’d say so.

If the phone was in Jack’s front pocket and he was on his back, his body would have cushioned the fall.  What I DON’T buy though is why the phone was on when she took it out of the envelope.  I’m not familiar with all phones but don’t most of them go "to sleep" when they’re not in use and only light up when activated?  I’d think that picture being on all the time would be a terrible drain on the battery.

I don’t ever recall him being on the show before.  What part did he play or was it just a small one that we wouldn’t remember?

doesn’t understand what Sami’s intentions of leaving with EJ are.  (I also don’t believe anybody here "despises" her.)  She made it very clear that she thinks he is being framed and is trying to help him prove it.  BUT…it’s certainly not a very intelligent decision–dramatic, yes–but intelligent?  Far from it.  I think that is what people are commenting about.  You’ve got to admit, Sami’s not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to making good decisions.

discussed the elevator thing before but I guess they just choose to ignore it.  I guess they think people who watch soap operas are a bunch of idiots.

Another thing I forgot to mention was Melanie giving Brady CPR.  As a nurse, she ought to know now that you no longer give breaths, only chest compressions.  If anybody watches NY Med they would see REAL nurses doing REAL compressions WITHOUT the breathing.  And my question here would be…why did his heart stop?  He didn’t have a heart attack, it wasn’t injured, he doesn’t have clogged arteries…

I think they do the public a real disservice when they show things like that wrong.

was a justification, Will did say HE would take care of the kids when she was telling EJ she was going with him.

I think you may have to add a couple of years to those ages now.  Sydney has to be at least four or five isn’t she?

And, speaking of taking care of the kids, I wonder why we don’t see Caroline anymore.  How long has it been?

about Ian, I thought Kate’s performance was very strained (very good at first but then fading), like she was having a difficult time maintaining her anger.

I don’t know, maybe I’m being too critical but it just seems to me that these post-explosion scenes are not the same quality of soap that I have been watching for so long.  It’s almost like the actors are struggling with their performances, not everybody but too many of them.  And when you add that to all the little "reality goofs,"…  Then, again, maybe I’ve just been watching for too long and I’ve reached my saturation point and just can’t soak up any more.

but only very old elevators (like the old cage-type ones or very few freight elevators) have one door and on those you will see the wall going by as you move and they no longer need code since the middle 1900sand had to be retrofitted with at least a cage door.

There has to be two, one on the cab and the second on each floor to seal off the shaft.  And there is always space between them for the electronic eye and touch-sensitive bar that opens the door if it touches something.

And most elevators no longer have a trap door on top either. But, if that happened to be one that did, how did it get open for them to be able to see all the debris (as Abby described) or the cable they were watching unravel/snap?

BTW, the Mythbusters dispelled the belief that if you jump just before hitting the bottom, you’ll have a better chance of surviving.  Physics also disproves it.  Supposedly what you should do is lie down so you can distribute your weight as much as possible over an area as large as possible.  But, since elevators can no longer fall, the whole thing is moot.

I didn’t care that much about Nick when he came back last time and I don’t care about Jessica now.  I barely remember her and what connection can they now have with current characters?  There are not that many still around and they don’t even know most of them.  They have brought so many back that have been absolute "bombs" that I’m really not expecting much in their case…remember Jeremy and Stephanie, Kim and Caliope?

is why Nick can "see" all the monsters but he doesn’t know about the captain.

And I didn’t think that was really his mother.  In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me to find out yet that she’s not.  However, she WAS familiar with everything in the trailer.  She sure did look sinister at times.

Nice to see Chad’s "mother" (the judge) again.   I’d forgotten she was on there.

Having to take the coins back to their origin to destroy them is too much like Lord of the Rings.

RETURNING characters.  I meant new as in not currently on the show.  Same with Kristen.  I love that she’s coming back but if I had to make a choice, I’d stick with Bo.
