I see him a little differently but still not anything very exciting.

I do find it very unbelievable though that ANYBODY would choose to remain in prison for another 18 months, just to keep from upsetting someone else.  Heck, he doesn’t have to go back to Salem, go anyplace else where Melanie won’t ever see him.

Prison is HELL according to everything I’ve heard and read.  Someone trying to kill him is plenty enough reason to want out of there.  I hope this isn’t indicative of what we’re going to get from these new writers.

They know Ian did it (shot the imposter) but he has not been apprehended and is on the run.  Ian admitted to Stefano and EJ to switching the blood tests.  I guess the SPD received all this information from Stefano in the short time he was in the hospital after being rescued.  EJ called in an anonymous tip where to find him.

However, EJ is now out on bail (posted by Chad).  I’m not sure exactly what the charges are but I’m sure they will eventually be dropped because, according to EJ, the DA doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

Yeah, this is a lot to swallow but, remember, Stefano has even returned after being an urn full of ashes on the mantel.

and been less than stellar at first but, right now, Nick is really leaving me cold.  He’s coming across as surly and angry and, with those baby-lips of his, that’s not playing well for me.

I hope they have come up with some kind of interesting storyline for him but I sure can’t imagine what it could be.  I don’t see pairing him up with Gabby because there’s too much age difference there (although we did have Abby go after Austin).  And we know there has to be SOMEONE for him, right?  Time for a new character to replace Melanie?  (I hope they don’t recast her, she is just too unique.)  Any ideas, anyone?

I can’t understand why ANYONE would re-elect Obama when he has done nothing but make empty promises and continually put us deeper in debt…things I don’t think can be argued.  I feel he talks a good talk but cannot walk a good walk.

But, just to go on record, I am so extremely against socialism and I see that’s the way this country is moving.  If it continues, I’m afraid "The American Dream" will become a thing of the past and more and more will want to sit on their butts and let the government provide for them.  The 1% cannot continue to support these do-nothings (AND illegal aliens) forever.  I do NOT believe everyone is "entitled" to all the things the socialists seem to think they are.

Sorry, I shouldn’t get started on this stuff.

His return held nothing for me and now that I’ve seen him back…same thing.  Ho-hum. And I don’t even see any exciting possibilities.

There was talk about him and Will getting together.  They are both very smart cookies so maybe they will invent or "find" something genius.

Are all those speeches, etc. really necessary.  I think it’s all a bunch of posturing and rhetoric anyway.  We already know who will be nominated so maybe the storm is a GOOD thing.  :o)

On another note, I am so tired of the negative bashing on the TV ads.  What happened to a candidate talking about themselves and what they can do for the country and why we should elect them instead of what a rat the opponent is?  I think they should outlaw using the opponents name or any mention of them on those ads, not just president but ANY political TV ad.  It’s not, "Vote for me" but rather, "Don’t vote for him."  Stupid!

I also find it funny that the only thing they seem to find at fault about Romney is that he is anti-abortion.  That is such a small part about running our country so why are they pounding him on that and nothing else?  If that’s the only thing they can find wrong with him, I guess he’ll make a great candidate.

I’m tempted to not even vote this year because I don’t feel there is anybody running I feel is really qualified to be president.  So sad.  I miss the days when you could really get behind your candidate and sincerely hope he wins.

    Sorry for the rant.

Bahston.  :o)  Although he’s good at covering his accent.  Just like Matt Damon and his buddies.

have a talk show on SoapNet once?  I guess someone is willing to give her another chance.  She must have a great agent because she’s always popping up somewhere…even adult diaper commercials!!!

although my pool and back yard is a real mess.  I just spent an hour trying to clean the branches and palm fronds out of the pool.

But, I now have two pools.  One that was there before and another one where it used to be lawn!!!  Fortunately all our houses in this development have a storm drain in the back yard so it should drain off pretty soon.  I’ve seen the pool overflow before but never so much water in the yard.  Hopefully it’s past now (it’s so still out now it’s almost eerie), otherwise I’ve just wasted the past hour.

becuse of the storm (satallite dish, ya know) so didn’t see what happened.

But, boy, Nick sure looks tough/angry.  I wonder if they’re going to make him into a bad guy now.

Sometimes is looks like nothing is going right but I very strongly believe in that silver lining.  So many times in my life I’ve seen everything turn around and the sun come out again.  You just have to have that belief and be patient until it happens…and it WILL!

Think good thoughts, be positive and it’ll happen.  $150 isn’t a lot of money, just be thankful it’s not $150,000!  THAT would be something to worry about.

If you’re really desperate, go to work for a temp agency until you find something permanent.  Even if you don’t like the job, it pays the bills and keeps your mind busy.  In the meantime all of us here will keep our fingers crossed and pray that something comes along soon.  Chin up!

Sounds like your dad is doing well.  And I know your niece’s surgery is painful but it will help her in the long run and be worth the pain when she’s all healed up.  Be positive for them both and your mom too.  We’re all here cheering you on.

It seems in this day and age if you have steady employment you’d want to stick with it.  I know, nothing ventured, nothing gained, but I would think, in show business especially, if you’re that good, they’d come to you.  If you’ve got something big (and fairly permanent) lined up you should go for it.  But if not, well, a steady paycheck is a wonderful thing.  Look how many Days’ actors have gone off to do a move and then nothing.

Even a movie isn’t much of a guarantee.  Unless it’s a smash and producers are banging on your door, once it’s over, it’s over and you’re back in the unemployment line.
