ParticipantMy gosh, is the acting that terrible now? Laura was so bad she was almost painful to watch. And Susan was downright horrible. I can’t believe I watched that and enjoyed it. I mean it was fun seeing the show again but, OMG!
Loved the costumes and the regular wardrobe. And I think Stefano has changed the most and Maggie the least. Somebody said Bo looked like a porn star…I agree, he did. :o) And John was SOOOO handsome. (Well, I think he still is.)

Participantit just kind of plods along until the very ending when they throw something exciting in. I can’t say I’m terribly disappointed in it being cancelled. It’s too bad because I really like all the actors.
I watch Vegas too and think pretty much the same about that. It’s okay but they throw in a small piece of exciting drama periodically and that’s what keeps me watching.
I have found there are probably better shown on cable than networks. Shows like Burn Notice, Suits, Fairly Legal, Rizzoli and Isles, Merlin, etc.

ParticipantI’m off to dinner now. Just remembering what happened last T.G. I ended up in the hospital with a blocked stomach and ultimately surgery. I haven’t had turkey since. Don’t think I’ll have any today either.
Everyone remember to be thankful for your blessings. I have so many, I can’t begin to count them all.

Participantyes, she’ll be next. Next week is the finals. As much as I’d like to see Melissa and Tony win, I’m pretty sure it will be Shawn and Derrick.

ParticipantSorry, double post.

Participantthat 18% of pregnancies in our country end up in abortions. Much more than I expected.

ParticipantI don’t know if it’ll be Nicole or not but I’m willing to bet, at some point, our good Father is going to break his vows. I really love him in this part. He is very believable.

Participantexcellent!
What she should do (but won’t because it would end the storyline) is have the abortion and tell everybody she lost the baby. That she and Will were talking in the park when she started to have problems. He took her to the clinic where she miscarried. The clinic cannot divulge any information on her treatment there so she’s covered.
Of course we know that won’t happen because everything would end too quickly.
And I gotta say, Gabby and Will certainly do know how to look guilty when they lie. Holy cow, they were much better at it in the past…both of them.

ParticipantStefano hasn’t come to them telling them he has gone though therapy and trying to make amends while Kristin has. I’m not saying she isn’t full of balogna nor am I saying I believe her.
But I think Marlena has gone overboard here, not John. Why in the world does she just stand there and take all that crap AND continue to argue with Kristin which just keeps everything going. How many times can a person say she’s not going to get away with it? Okay, Marlene, we get your drift. She should walk away from her, out of the room, and stay away from her so Kristin can’t get to her. But she’s too afraid to leave John with her. She does NOT trust John. If she did she wouldn’t have erased those messages.
If she had called her a bitch while they were alone, like when Kristin came back in the room, I wouldn’t have had a problem with that. I just think she is making an ass out of herself and certainly not being the "better" person, which is something we would always expect from Marlena. Heck, she even talks decently to Stefano and look what he’s done to her.

Participantthey got it half right. Except I think Kelly should have gone instead of Apolo. I agree she is a good dancer but I thought Apolo was better. Last night was really. Paula Abdul’s number was fantastic. I thought it wasn’t quite as polished as it should have been but it was very creative and well done.
And how in the heck did they do the slo-mo in the middle of Derrick’s dance? I watched to see if there was a camera switch and there wasn’t. And Tom said it was live. That was very interesting.

ParticipantHe’s seems to be a good actor and he’s very cute, to boot. I loved the way he interacted with Nicole. I just wish Nicole would drop her glib remarks and be sincere with him. He’s trying to help her and she just mocks him. I guess the writers don’t want us to like Nicole at all.
Wasn’t it a little presumptious of Hope to tell Eric he should stay away from Nicole. He’s a priest, those are the people he’s supposed to help. Who does she think she is, anyway?

Participantwhen someone said something about discussing everything but the book. My book club does that at every single get-together. It sometimes takes us an hour before we get to the book. But it’s fun.

ParticipantThis is certainly not the Marlena we’ve known for so long. She has gone so far over the top with this she may never come back down. Instead of keeping on confronting Kristin and telling her "she’s not going to get away with it" (how ridiculous to say), why doesn’t she just plain walk away from her? If I hated somebody that bad I’d certainly not want to keep "having at it" with them, I’d try to avoid them totally and completely.
And I’m glad John got mad at her. I don’t care if she did fess up, her actions and her words were reprehensible. She was goading Kristin. Of course, that’s exactly what Kristin was aiming for.

Participantcougar loose in Salem. When I first heard this was going to happen I was vehemently opposed to it but after seeing them together, I think it just might work. Kristin is such a good actor and Brady is such a good lover, they just might be able to pull it off. I mean, it happens in real life, why not go for it. Heck, they might even make it interesting.
