Sami was raped by Alan. Franco was hired or blackmailed by Kate into seducing Sami and getting her to marry him. On their wedding day Lucas came in drunk and killed Franco and Sami passed out so Kate set it up to look like Sami was the killer. Sami was sentenced to death and at the last minute as she was being given the lethal injection Lucas confessed and Kate hired a bum who was in the hospital dieing to confess. Mike did CPR and saved Sami’s life.
Didn’t really give a lot of background on the current storyline in my opinion. But it was great fun to watch.
Sean SR, Lexie, and Mickey were good to see.
It really shows how the plotlines have not changed. Take down the Dimeras always the bottom line.
I wasn’t watching the show during this time. I took a ten year break from 1993-2003. I came back with the Salem Slasher Marlena storyline.
The Billie and Jennifer replacements looked the part but didn’t have the acting chops to carry it off.
The Baby Elvis would be about 16 if he had'[t been aged.
Maggie looked great and I agree hasn’t aged. These soap stars have fantastic plastic surgery done. A little at a time so that it is not so apparant.
I had so much fun watching it I think I will leave it on the DVR. John was so hot but then I always thought he was. They all looked great and seeing Shawn and Lexie again and well it was just wonderful to watch. I would love to see more.
Sami has stayed fairly young while EJ has aged very abnormally rapidly! lol I often wonder why they show the past shows like this with characters that they have messed with age wise. It would almost make more sense to do a cut/paste show wih great scenes of people that are still on the show and haven’t aged/de-aged.
I thought Carrie looked really good back then and Hope too. Hope was just on the border of being too skinny but she still looked good. John looked better with the shorter hair and not the mullet he used to sport. Great to see Shawn and a younger Caroline. I so missed Ivan. I hated the Jennifer replacement and this was by far the worst Billie in my opinion. Susan always cracked me up. The outfits were insane and I completely forgot what the excuse was for them all being dressed like that in the first place. It was a great trip down memory lane.
and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone, so young. Kristian Alphonso was an absolute beauty….still is. I’d forgotten how damn ugly that headpiece was on Susan’s gown. That one looked more like a costume than all of the others put together. Loved seeing Vivian and Ivan, and a younger Stefano. I just wish Kristen and Marlena would have been active instead of unconscious, just so we could see the stress and hell Kristen put Marlena through. That much would have been very clear to everyone to see why Marlena is so hell-bent on keeping Kristen out of their lives today. All in all, though, I enjoyed everyone pretty much, especially the flying teeth scene.
Kristin so she could have John. The flying teeth wedding! Stefano really looked younger back then but some of the others have stayed well preserved!
My gosh, is the acting that terrible now? Laura was so bad she was almost painful to watch. And Susan was downright horrible. I can’t believe I watched that and enjoyed it. I mean it was fun seeing the show again but, OMG!
Loved the costumes and the regular wardrobe. And I think Stefano has changed the most and Maggie the least. Somebody said Bo looked like a porn star…I agree, he did. :o) And John was SOOOO handsome. (Well, I think he still is.)
