Participantwhen she first came back that she’d had Parker’s BC changed, although I’m not sure it’s possible to change one. I think you get a court order and file the appropriate papers for whatever change you want but they don’t actually issue a new ‘changed’ BC. Not positive about this but pretty sure.
So, if that’s the case, then, if Daniel has shared custody, it would be kidnapping if she didn’t have his permission to take him out of the country. At least she didn’t pick Switzerland or Africa like everybody else has done.

Participanthe’s been that way for quite a few years now. Probably arthritis, or, like I said, a back problem…or both. And it isn’t just women who get dowager’s hump from osteoitis.
When he was sitting down talking to Henderson yesterday and thought his face looked a little thinner but when he stood up he looked like he did before so he doesn’t appear to have changed any.
Somebody mentioned they thought he looked frail but I didn’t see that. It’s amazing how so many of these actors on Days look (and act) so good for the ages they’ve attained. It must be a pretty good job that they haven’t retired.

ParticipantShe was one of the fans on Philip’s team. There were only two fans left, her and the gay guy. The first vote was a tie between them and she lost on the second vote. They referred to her as "vanilla."

ParticipantHow right you were. Nothing to see here folks…keep moving.
I will say it was an awsome set. And that Kendra is as phony as a $3 bill. When she said she has no idea why she is considered a star, she hit the nail on the head. At least she recognizes it.
Those people are further from being stars than the ones on DWTS. The judges were horrible but I thought the hosts did a good job and were confident and entertaining.
But I don’t think I’ll watch again either.
Oh, Patti, I finally pulled the plug on Smash. I have totally lost interest and don’t like any of the new characters at all. Hope you’re still enjoying it. I may do the same with Nashville soon.

Participantof the entertainment shows and apparently it’s much worse that she admitted on the show. Her doctor says it could cause her permanent damage to the point of not being able to walk so she obviously made the right choice. I’m so disappointed but you could see the difference between her two performances. She must have been in a lot of pain. But what a gracious and lovely woman.
I agree Kellie and Zandaya are going to be forminable contestants. Except for her teeth, Zandaya looks soooo much like my g.daughter. I don’t know what her ethnicity is but my g.daughter’s very tiny slice of American Indian blood seems to have given her the dark complexion. But their actions and facial expressions are so much alike they could easily be sisters. or, if not for the four year age difference, even twins.
Surprising to me was Andy Dick. Although I have never liked him or found him the least bit funny, I was surprised to see he did as well as he did and I think there’s going to be a lot of potential there. I know he is really battling his deamons now and I sure hope the show will help him in that area as he has been struggling with it for so long. His number was very entertaining.
But I just don’t understand why DH or Wynona weren’t in the bottom two when they were SO very bad. Actually, Wynona wasn’t really that bad, she is just way too heavy to pull it off. They can’t possibly think a woman her size could be able to keep up the necessary pace to compete. I’m certain they are only trying to replicate Kirstie’s (and previously, Marie Osmond’s) success. I think it’s very unfair and condecending to use these overweight people like that. It just adds more fuel to my I-believe-this-show-is-horribly-skewed opinion.

Participanthe certainly comes off as arrogant to me and not at all funny. I don’t care if he’s one of the better male dancers, I don’t like him because of that and hope he gets voted off. But because the other guys are so much worse, he’s probably safe. It’s been well documented in the past that football players have had large fan bases (because of the popularity of the sport) that have kept them alive.

ParticipantAbby always starts undressing him. How would he think any differently? I liked his remark about next time meeting in a public place so they don’t end up like that again.
I really wonder just how many viewers actually want to see that stuff, expecially the scenes in bed, which, to me, are very uncomfortable and awkward. I thought the one with EJ and Sami the other day was well done though. We knew exactly what they were doing but weren’t exposed to the actual foreplay and deed. I especially hate to watch when the woman is caressing the man’s chest and rubbing his nipples.
That reminds me… Isn’t it strange that we never see anybody say they’re not in the mood or have a headache or anything like that? How realistic is it that both partners are ALWAYS ready at the same time? And isn’t it normal for one person to have a stronger sex-drive than the other?
They could probably do away with the deep passionate kisses in places like the pub, the coffee shop and Horton Square also. Who does that (except for people on soaps)?
Oh, dear, I’m rambling again…

ParticipantThere are actually unballanced people out there who can’t separate the actor from the character, but that has gone on for ages. I think it was Jackie Collins who used to get terrible hate mail directed at her personally, not her character, and I’m sure there have been many others. These kinds of people shouldn’t be allowed to watch TV (or movies).
You have to admit, we see that to some extent here. How many people hate EJ so much they want him gone from the show? Even though James is a terrific actor and a nice pleasant person IRL. They are even unable to accept a redemption for him.

Participantabout to "do it" (as Kate mentioned) in Gabi’s room? And with the door open, even? Bad enough she was down on her knees in front of him.

ParticipantAnd totally and completely unforgivable. Chloe doesn’t have that many friends that she can be alienating them like that. But I thought Nicole handled it most excellently (apologies to Ted and Bill).
There are things you don’t ever say to another person no matter what the circumstances or how angry you may be and that was definitely one of them. That was unforgivably cruel.

ParticipantAnd it has been brought up many times yet rejected by so many people. I think you’re right about how they’ve justified it but, to me, rape is rape, and Sami’s was just as dispicable as EJ’s. And you can definitely put Abby in there with attempted rape along with Jack’s rape of Kayla yet have both been forgiven.
And look at the horrible thing Lexie has done. Stealing Hope’s baby? To me, that’s far worse than rape yet when Lexie died, she was talked of as a saint.
And there’s others. Julie, horrible things when she was younger. Kate! OMG, where to begin. Lucas and the Will doll? Nicole with attempted murder AND murder? We’ve given a lot of characters a pass because for whatever reason, their actions were justified. Jack raped Kayla yet look at what a good guy he was. Some people just don’t like EJ so cannot get past HIS deeds.

Participanta husband and daughter at home?

ParticipantI don’t remember hearing anything one way or the other.

Participantthat Chloe is leaving because they finally have a kid that can at least say some lines. For his age I think he’s done pretty well. But then, maybe Chloe will leave but not Parker.

Participant<yawn>
If they do what you suggested, Patti, and get in the middle of Dan and Jen, I just may have to put my foot through the TV. And that’ll be hard to do because it’s way up there on the wall.
