NO ONE is interested in Abby and Cameron. As handsome as he is they are BORING!!! Equally, NO ONE is interested in the Chloe/Dan/Jennifer triangle.
However, even though it’s a yay for half the viewers and a nay for the other half – KUDOS to whoever is writing EJ/Sami. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!! Sami + Rafe = MAJOR snoozefest, always did, always will!!!

I’ve always felt that Sami N Lucas came across as more friends then lovers… Just my opinion. I’ve always found their scenes to be playful and the banter to be cute, but not romantic or sexy. Maybe it’s just me.
And hey…. Luke raped Laura didn’t he? And they wound up being a major supercouple!!! Not that EJ is a core hero by any means (was Luke? – don’t know much about GH.) But since Sami is a former villianess/vixen (sometimes still current LOL) then I feel like EJ doesn’t need to be a hero for it work.
now they’re great friends who will go to great lengths for each other, but no longer in the romance department for me. They tried that when Lucas first returned, and they just don’t work as lovers anymore. E.J. may not be the end game, but I’m so glad the writers are giving him a chance by putting him back where he belongs, and that’s with Sami. He’s too great a character who’s now proving to me what I’ve always believed — that Samantha has always been his one and only true love, no matter how others interpret it. We are finally seeing them as a true couple, and I’m glad to cheer them on now, which I have not always felt would be the case. I’m not condoning the rape any more than I do some of the other reprehensible things the DiMeras have done; I just feel, for me at least, that it’s time to let it go. It’s nothing more than a means to create fan base dissension anyway. I can’t even count how many other people in Salem have been sexually abused, shot, stabbed, murdered, bribed, blackmailed, …….., but it’s never played out as much as E.J.’s assault on Sami. So, I suppose it’s okay to continue the vilification of E.J. DiMiera, but turn a blind eye to so many others who have done more than their fair share of despicable acts, yet never continually berated for it? Of course it’s not! But, most fans have a very selective memory. It just depends on who you like and who you don’t!
is the way he committed his dispicable acts against Sami. When he raped her in order for her to save Lucas’ life, he was calculating in his actions and put her in a situation that was absolutely horrible for her no matter whether she tried to fight him off or not. He was also doing his Daddy’s bidding by impregnating a Brady…something about that ridiculous vendetta. Then, when it came to her and Rafe, he went about it in the same calculating manner again doing Daddy’s bidding knowing full well that Sami would have sex with someone who was not her husband. The scenes of EJ and Stefano laughing about the sexual abuse they were perpatrating on an unknowing Sami was more than I could stand. There are so many characters in Salem who have committed actions that they should be made accountable for, but I just can’t get past the evilness that embodies Stefano and EJ. I would also put Kate in that evil category as well for many of her physically hurtful acts.
I really want to see ejerk pay dearly for all of these things. I can definitely see romantic chemistry in Lumi. LUMI is the ONLY pairing I will ever support for Sami.
For the same reason. He is a rapist, kidnapper, liar, etc. and I’m never going to like him, especially with Sami.
I so agree with you Pattie on who someone likes and dislike I feel that way with all the berating of Dan and Jen, I like then and I want them to be together and happy for a little bit before tptb mess it up but thats my opinion.
EJ and Sami ?? I do not like them together not only because of all the things that they have done to each other, what man or woman would end up with someone that took a gun and tried to kill them by shooting them in the head? I would never be with a man that tried to kill me, whos to say that he or she would not snap again when something arises they do not like??? and one more thing I do not like the way EJ act when he is with Sami, he is a different person to me, I like him as the Bad Boy( that I love to hate) ,not a nice guy when he is a nice guy he brings out the little girl in Sami ( she needs the man to solve her problems)instead of the mother figure she should be..and now EJ is just another Man on the show,he is no longer the bad boy of the show, I think Dan has him beat on being a bad boy..smile.
And you know what the funny part is – that NO one remembers? SAMI RAPED AUSTIN!!! Yes, she drugged him but if that’s not rape then I don’t know what is. We’ve moved past Sami raping Austin then why can’t we move past EJ raping Sami?!? Is it okay b/c she’s a woman and he’s a man? B/c she was young? Well, if we’re going to write excuses for Sami then we have to write them for EJ too right? She had a choice, she could’ve said no (but then Lucas would die.) But if we’re going tit for tat we have to be fair
And it has been brought up many times yet rejected by so many people. I think you’re right about how they’ve justified it but, to me, rape is rape, and Sami’s was just as dispicable as EJ’s. And you can definitely put Abby in there with attempted rape along with Jack’s rape of Kayla yet have both been forgiven.
And look at the horrible thing Lexie has done. Stealing Hope’s baby? To me, that’s far worse than rape yet when Lexie died, she was talked of as a saint.
And there’s others. Julie, horrible things when she was younger. Kate! OMG, where to begin. Lucas and the Will doll? Nicole with attempted murder AND murder? We’ve given a lot of characters a pass because for whatever reason, their actions were justified. Jack raped Kayla yet look at what a good guy he was. Some people just don’t like EJ so cannot get past HIS deeds.
If I remember correctly Sami didn’t rape Austin. She drugged him and climbed into bed with him to make it look like they had sex. This was after she had Lucas thought she was Carrie and they had sex. I don’t know if she was trying to make Carrie think they had sex so she’d break it off with Austin or if she knew she was pregnant and this was her way of coming back later and being able to say it was Austin’s.
Sami had sex with Lucas and Austin witnessed it thinking Sami was Carrie (b/c she had on Carrie’s shirt and he saw that and blonde hair.) Sami then drugged Austin (drugged his beer at the Cheatin Heart) and put on Carrie’s perfume and he made love to her thinking she was Carrie. So yes they had sex and yes it was against his will (even though he wasn’t forced – he was tricked.) So that would be rape.
Two points though they don’t excuse Sami
She was a teenager not an adult like ejerk
She probably should have had a diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder after all that happened to her…..so much for having a shrink as a mom
