The fire isn’t supposed to happen until early 2024 so the Christmas ornament hanging is safe for this year. As for the future, maybe the ornaments are in the attic and the whole house doesn’t burn down; just the downstairs set that we usually see on camera. The ornaments may survive the fire.
Oh, ugh! Hope that’s not going to happen. I hate the thought of giving Nicole’s baby to Sloan and Eric. Just when the show has some good storylines going and they do that? I wish they would give up the idea of putting Nicole and Eric together. That idea is so old!!

Well, the show has mentioned a Salem Inn’s manager’s name before but never showed a face. I think that name was Phyllis.
Agree! I’m so sick of all the silly attempts to get Nicole and Eric back together. Don’t like them as a couple at all. Boring!
The absolute worst and most laughable thing about this storyline is the fact that the police aren’t checking the hospital camera footage for the day Abe disappeared. I think Jada or Rafe mentioned something early on about needing to check the camera footage but then the whole thing was dropped!
I’ll be so disappointed if they don’t have EJ be the father of Nicole’s baby. I am sick of Eric and Nicole as a couple, too! Back and forth, back and forth with them. First of all, they have changed Nicole to be a unlikeable character, and second of all, Eric is the most boring character on the show–whether he is with Nicole or Sloan. At least Sloan makes him a little more interesting.
I laughed at your comment about Kate’s perfectly manicured nails, doolfan. It reminded me of the time when she was in the hospital with lung cancer fighting for her life and her hair and makeup were flawless every day. Oh, brother!
I hadn’t heard about Gabi leaving! I will miss her, but sounds like she has good reasons for moving on. It will be interesting to see how her leaving will likely shake things up.
Interesting about the reuse of apartment sets. Chloe’s new apt window DOES look like the one in Ciara’s place, now that you mention it. I always thought Sloan’s apt was Eli and Lani’s old place, too.
