Think of it this way: I can’t seem them going anywhere in having the Horton House going up in flames anytime soon, the reason being that it would render Doug & Julie homeless, & with how the Smithsonian having replicas of the Horton Christmas Ornaments, & with how the Smithsonian has Nancy Hughes ATWT’s last place of residence when the character had died, & with how when Paulina tried to tear down the Horton Square & that didn’t go anywhere, can you really see them going there to burn down Tom & Alice Horton’s home, & having the Horton Christmas Ornaments be destroyed, that would bring on the National Debt amount of backlash if it goes into motion?

The fire isn’t supposed to happen until early 2024 so the Christmas ornament hanging is safe for this year. As for the future, maybe the ornaments are in the attic and the whole house doesn’t burn down; just the downstairs set that we usually see on camera. The ornaments may survive the fire.

But still, with the house being Tom & Alice’s home, no matter if they are no longer with us anymore, what about the legacy of their family home, think about it, MacDonald Carey died 30 years ago & they are still using his voice, so it’s wise to have the crux of their family home to burn down in 2024, especially with how they had put it out there that Days had been renewed for two more years. Then this: with how the Smithsonian has Nancy Hughes’ ATWT’s apartment, & it also has the replicas of the Horton Ornaments, you really want to face the National Debt of backlash by having this happen? Especially, when they had Victor’s death, & Maggie’s anniversary & it played up as to how Maggie smothered Julie when she caught fire?
