I had DishNet since ’97 but when I sold my home and got a rental (until I purchase my next home) so I had to get cable – but $118 and NO premiums – you – my dear – are getting ripped off!
I have cable currently, (with HBO), unlimited long distance and local phone and internet with no increases for two years for the same amount amount of money you are paying for just cable a month!
And when I moved with Dish (a few years ago), it was only $99 for installation which that fee was waived if you kept it for one year (and they have the same deal today). I’d negotiate with them if I were you when my next bill came due; (either Dish or Cable), threaten them you’ll go else where if they don’t give you a better deal…they want your repeat business (especially in this day and age) and I don’t think it’s because I live in a different state than you that I got that price because I live in the most expensive state in the union – good luck with them Bonbon!

I see the news reports and I can’t believe what you guysies are going through – it’s mind boggling! Hope she makes a full recovery and this will be in the past very soon and she will have a long and healthy life!

Alice = Days! Like you all said – they’d better do a great tribute – and so what if they’ve already taped the show two weeks in advance – like we are going to care if the story line drags on an extra day or two in order to have a fine tribute to Ms. Reid. I would like the head man himself to start it out, then have the actors all say a tribute, and then play scenes of Alice Horton from the early years up to her last show; if that takes two days so be it! I wouldn’t even DVR the show, I’d be watching it as it played. I want to see her with her doughnuts, the Christmas tree ornaments, Tom and Alice together, and all the rest! Give us fans a way to say goodbye.
